All my family photos for the last 6 years are disappeared...

Can anybody help me?
I am in complete chock fearing that all my family photos from the last 7 years are lost!
I have had ALL my family photos in the Adobe Stater Edition. Lately, I have been requested to register to get an unlock code every time I wanted to see photos or download new photos. I have tried to register but has been informed that the Adobe Starter Edition does not exist anymore. Yesterday, I therefore loaded all my photos into Picasa. I worked with the photos for about one hour - and then they suddently all disappeared. I seached for the photoes everywhere but they are completely gone... they are not on the hard disk at all. How is that possible? The photos were located on the hard disc in the "Picture folder" in a subfolder named "Adope". This subfolder was created automatically, years ago, when I started to load photo into the Adope Starter Edition. This subfolder is now empty - how is that possible? If I now start up the Adobe Starter Edition I get the usual "unlock message" - but behind the message I can see some of my photos but maybe this is just a "dead" bacground from my last attempt to get the unlock code?
What should I do - can anybody please help me? I am willing to upgrade to whatever type of Adobe product it requires to get the last 7 years of my family life back.
And yes... I did a full back-up of my photos app. 12 months ago... I looked for it yesterday in complete panic... it is gone... we had a burglary last summer... and yesterday I realized that it has been stolen.
ALL - ALL!! the photos of my two wonderful girls growing up... sitting in the Danish summer fields with floral wreaths on their head... I cannot believe it... I fell I have lost their childhood.

In Picasa, look under to Tools menu, under Options, and at the bottom, it shows 'Save Imported Pictures in...'; look at where it is saving files, then look for a folder called Picasa at that location; could be that it moved all your files to there.

Just a hunch - the "last two month" sounds like an photo stream sync problem.
How did you import the photos from the last two month? Were they in the Photo Stream? Then enable your Photo Stream again in the Sytem Preferences iCloud pane and iPhoto Preferences iCloud tab. This option might have been disabled. If you did not download your recent photos automatically from from the stream, the photo stram must be disabled to show them.
Also, your "last import" event might be empty after the upgrade of the library. Try to sort your events differently, to bring the last event to the top of the list in "Events" view.

Did you change the ID, or did you create a new Apple ID? If you had simply changed the ID then what I suggested above should work as the ID itself is the same (even though the name of the ID - the address - has changed).
However if you created a new ID, logged in with that, and purchased items on it, then you have two separate IDs each with purchased associated with them. You say that you can't log in to the original account with the 'alternate' email - have you tried logging in with the original email address? It doesn't matter if it doesn't actually work to receive mail, as far as logging in is concerned it's just a text string.

HT4972 Did I just lose everything on my IPAD for the last year because it said to update it, not giving an option to back it up first? Its updating with ITunes now but under the RESTORE option. There was no way out of this.

My IPAD2 had a pop up message that an update is available, to close or click on details, so I clicked on details. It took me to an upgrade box, no back up options. I clicked to upgrade it. It downloaded for awhile, then turned off, and when it turned back on, it directed me to plug into my ITUNES with the USB adapter, which I did. When ITunes came up, it said I had to restore it before I could use ITUnes. Again, no other options. I am worried that I just lost everything on my IPAD2 for the last year, apps, photos, documents, settings, email, etc. It is still downloading after 30 minutes. Is everything gone and truly back to factory settings? If so there was no warning for this at all, I'll never get everything back.

I'm not sure what happned either but If you are doing this via iTunes, iTunes should have backed up the iPad first. It can take a good bit of time when you update with iTunes on your computer because iTunes downloads and installs the entire iOS all over again. If you are running iOS 5 on the iPad, and you will be now, you can update OTA via WiFi in the future and the process takes far less time since you will only be downloading an incremental update.
If you are syncing on a regular basis with iTunes, you should have a recent backup. In the worst case scenario, you should be able to restore from the backup. And as stated aboce, you can download all apps again and virtually all purchased content from iTunes (if you live in the U.S.) and you can always sync your iTunes library back to the iPad.
Let the update finish and see where you are then. Come back if you need help.

New Releases Section is the same for the last year

As the title says the "New Releases Section" in the "Browse" all the platforms (desktop, android, web and iOS) is absolutely the same for the last year. It is never updated but why as I can clearly see my album notifications from artists I follow? Is this section a "sponsored" artists only secrion, whats the deal here? Here is a screenshot of how the section looks today 30.4.2015, notice that Rammstein which added their music almost and year ago is still occuping most of the space.

Have a nice day, to that I responded: When I log-in with that test account the New Releases is different and is up to date. Are you serious that I need to create a new account to fix this, this is unacceptable. I WILL NOT leave my entire music library and my premium subscription history in order to fix a clear bug in your system, I am better of leaving Spotify all together. Please escalate this issue to your managers as it is again UNACEPTABLE to require me to create a new account to resolve a clear bug in your system, what is next if this gets stuck again down the road in 3 months will you ask me to create new account again, till what end. I am shocked at this. I have not idea what is happening at Spotify quarters but the last 5 months have been a pure pain, starting with the 10 000 limit of Your Music, than the 1.0 desktop version disaster and now this absurd "solution". I have been a loyal paying customer for over and year and now I feel like I wasted this time supporting a company that was not worth it. So all the bookmarks I've "bookmarked" for the past year are just gone - I don't understand why Firefox just doesn't automatically save every bookmark you make each session & put them in a place so you can organize them ... maybe there's some extra step you can take every session to force firefox to do this - I don't know what that is - but am also a bit aggravated that there has to be an extra step to do this - Internet Explorer just auto saves everything you bookmark, why can't Firefox - I see this as a big disadvantage to Firefox that needs to be made much simpler ... I think all the details are sufficiently covered in the question (which then in filling out the help form Firefox quite sillily made me shorten so I reposted the whole thing in this comment above - just another unnecessary step, seems to be the Firefox norm)
And btw the articles on lost bookmarks, saving bookmarks, etc. - were not helpful at all. Very not helpful. Almost anti-helpful.
I generally like Firefox & use it all the time, but this one area as to bookmarks is very frustrating & causing me to seriously consider not using Firefox at all & switching back to Internet Explorer or another browser like Google Chrome. What's the point of bookmarking something (which by itself indicates you are wanting to save the site link so you can re-find & re-visit it in the future) if Firefox just auto deletes all your bookmarking everytime it starts up? Just a completely user-unfriendly idea.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

I dismiss the message, but the remote no longer works with it and the music is too quite to the speakers. The remote works fine with my Macbook Pro. I tried a restore on the iPhone and started from scrach, but the same problem exists.

Which signature style are you talking about?
You can go ahead and try uninstalling and reinstalling it and see if that works for you .

You need to find the format of the drive by looking at its info, my guess would be you are currently in NTFS (windows only) mac can use any mac os journaled or non journaled, or you can use fat32 which is usable on both pc and mac but is unable to move files over 4GB so no good for large file transfers. You will need to re format at some point but this will delete everything currently on the drive.
