All my home calendar data has vanished

Having just moved time zones i was mid reverting times when my home calendar stuff all just vanished. It still shows ticked in list, and when i rebooted all appeared for a few seconds then vanished. any idea whats going on and how i can reinstate. Also vanished on iPad. Am panicking.

ok im using 10.5.8 and using iphoto 8.0.4 (upgrading to SL when this is resolved) and my brother started using faces in iphoto and then the next time i opened it faces started loading and after that I quit it. A few days later i opened it again ( i swear i didnt do anything remotely concerning iphoto or the pictures folder during that time) and my brothers pictures replaced mine completely including all the time machine back ups!

Go into the SETTINGS app and select MAIL CONTACTS AND CALENDERS.
Scroll down to the CALENDERS heading and then change the SYNC setting from "1 month" to " all events".

You'd have to think through this, but it seems like if you are using Outlook, and the items vanished from the Outlook client as well as the server,that you could re-populate Outlook using iTunes.

10.4.6 upgrade deleted all of my calendar data

I have managed to lose all of my calendar data, including all of my calendar on my exchange server (via entourage sync).
I didn't see the readme before I upgraded, so when I ran sync, it asked me what I wanted to do during sync. I made sure that entourage had everything current, and I chose to delete and re-create the events on my phone. That happened, but the phone ran out of juice during the sync process and powered down. iSync told me what happened, and since I didn't have the charger handy, I went on about my business.
When I synced next, iSync told me it had 620 record that needed to be overwritten, and would I like for that to happen. Assuming it meant the 620 records *on the phone*, I said yes. It then proceeded to empty entourage, my exchange server, and my phone completely. iCal kept a copy, but within a minute or two of opening it, all of that data disappeared too.
So, I suppose I'm probably out of luck, but just in case... is there any way to recover all of my calendars? No, I didn't have any backups that I know of (unless they are automatically created). This is amazingly painful, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hm, yes, you are right...
Two solutions here:
1) plug your ipod on an other mac and get your files there
2) before plugging your iPod:
a. reboot your mac (make sure you start clean)
b. remove the SyncServices folder in your Home -> Library -> Application Support
c. reboot your mac (make sure your re-start clean )
d. this will remove the iPod synchronization state so it won't synchronize when you plug it in.
2) will require you to reconfigure your sync settings for all your iPods, .Mac and Palms
Still, I think 1) would be safer.

Actually, we were simply trying to synch our devices by signing up with icloud for the first time, so it seems our calendar never had a chance to get uploaded. In any case, how do you reconnect / re-access a calendar on icloud?

If your calendar does not appear on icloud.com it never uploaded to iCloud. If it is no longer on your computer you would have to restore it from a backup source such as Time Machine to restore it.

I have recently exported my entire collection of photos and I realized that (perhaps) some of the photos whose dates I have modified in iPhoto, have not been exported with the updated date but maybe the original dates.

My home page tab has vanished

Not only has my home tab vanished but so has my search bar and I can not " go back " my back arrow is gone as well. I use Firefox for my college work and need these features!

It's possible to hide the entire Navigation Toolbar, and of course to customize it. It's also possible for the toolbar data file to become corrupted. So let's check those things.
(1) Make sure you are not in full screen mode or a restricted pop-up.
* The F11 key switches between normal and full screen. Or, if you are in full screen mode, when you right-click at the very top of the screen, a small menu appears to exit full screen mode.
* Some pop-up windows lack normal toolbars. Use Ctrl+n to open a normal window. You can then navigate that window to the same page using the History menu, or copying and pasting the URL from one window to the other.
(2) To display a toolbar, try one of these:
* right-click a blank area of the tab bar > ''check'' Navigation Toolbar
* orange Firefox button > Options triangle > ''check'' Navigation Toolbar
* View menu > Toolbars > ''check'' Navigation Toolbar
(3) If controls are missing, you can try to restore them using Customize. The Customize command is on the same menus noted above. You might find the controls on a different toolbar or in the dialog which stores unused controls.
(4) If toolbars are very messed up or your changes are not saved between sessions, you can rename the toolbar data file to return to the default and customize from scratch.
Open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using
Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Show Folder" button
Switch back to Firefox and Exit
Pause while Firefox finishes its cleanup, then rename '''localstore.rdf''' to something like localstore.old
Restart Firefox. Hopefully now all will be back to normal.

I had alot of bookmarks and passwords on my firefox sync. However, I rebooted my computer a few days ago and now when I clicked on "Merge sync data" my data still does not appear and it seems like everything has been deleted. Can I restore this data?

I have tried restoring it but it only shows dates for the last 5 days which doesn't help. I rebooted my computer (formatted hard drive and reinstalled windows) a few days ago so any backup files in my computer are gone. I thought that there are backup copies made on the Firefox server but obviously I was wrong!
I don't see the point of Firefox sync if you can't view your bookmarks etc online and if there aren't backups made on the server.

ITouch Sync Erased HOME Calendar Group,but left all others- how to restore?

I've got 6 Calendar groups on my iTouch- just synched and discovered that the "HOME" Calendar group has vanished on my MBP AND iTouch!!! I can't find it in iTunes, I've got no back up on the MBP since it's only got one hard drive- any help 1) to restore my HOME Calendar group & 2) What the heck happened????

FIFA13, Since updating to IOS8, all cloud data has been "lost" and saved games are no longer available.

FIFA13. Since updating to IOS8 all previously saved iCloud data has been lost and I am unable to restore previously saved games. Also when saving new games they cannot be restored from iCloud. I have reinstalled ISO8 and FIFA13 but this does not fix the issue.

Same problem here. No saved files, saving is not possible and or doesn't work. iCloud is useless in this case.
I see it as an EA issue. The way they work is disabling certain feature to push users towards new versions of the game.
Money is everything, they don't care about their users and this problem will never be fixed, such a shame!

Syncing BBQ10 calendar entries on Home Calendar with BBLink account ???

I am new BB user....
I importend my contacts from Android phone via file on the SD card.
I set up BBLink on my Windows system that has Outlook 2003, and indeed the Contacts were synced.
I also created many calendar entries on my new phone. I tried to sync those, and nothing happened.
As an experiment I created a calendar entry on Outlook and indeed it synced with the phone.
Looking at the phone calendar, I see that the the entries I created are shown as on the Home / Local calendar, and the entry that I created in Outlook is shown as on the BBLink calendar.
I did a second experiment where I created a new entry on my phone calendar specifying BBLink account.. and indeed, that entry showed up in Outlook after the next sync.
The problem that I have is that I have many calendar entries on my phone that are in the Home / Local calendar, and no apparent way to get them synced with Outlook.
So I have questions....
1. is there a way to have BBLink recognize the Home calendar entries the way they are on the phone ?
2. do I have to manually change all the Home Calendar entries to BBLink calendar entries ?
3. will changing the default account to BBLink fix the problem for future entries ?

In this case since you are moving to a new computer an additional BB Link account will be added to the device when you connect to this PC and run BlackBerry Link.
BlackBerry Link will only synchronize with it's PC account, not another BB Link account created by another PC.
In order to be up and running without much hassle I would suggest the following:
1. Have all information up to date in Outlook on the 'Old Desktop' PC
2. Move the PST file containing the information from the 'Old Desktop' PC to the new one.
3. Open outlook on the new PC and confirm all info is there and up to date as was on the 'Old Desktop' PC
4. Remove the 'Old Desktop' BB Link account from the smartphone
5. Connect and sync with the new PC > this will create a new BB Link account on the smartphone and have all up to date information from Outlook within it.
Alternatively you could move all records to an account such as GMail, or Outlook.com, that support wireless synchronization of contacts and calendar. This will ensure when an item is updated on the PC it will wirelessly sync to the device.

RECOVERY OF CALENDAR DATA

I have a Macbook Air operating on Yosemite 10.10.1.
I have just inadvertently lost all of my Calendar data by activating the iCloud Drive and then realising that I didn't want to put the Calendar on it and deselecting this on the iCloud Preferences.
It did come up with a message saying that all data on he drive would be deleted from the Mac, but I didn't think that I had put anything on it at that stage.
I would like to recover the Calendar. I have back-up on a Passport-for-Mac using Time Machine, but cannot identify where the "old" Calendar data file is.
Can anybody help please?

No I hadn't created a Calendar Archive before this mishap (I will now), and I thought it would be covered by the Time Machine Backup. I was activating my iCloud drive for the first time and I think that it was doing this that somehow lost the calendar data. Previously the Calendar data was on the Mac hard drive.
I have now managed to get the old calendar back, but I don't quite know how.
The links to calendar backup in your reply led me to tinker more with the Time Machine, and the data on the My Passport drive directly. I could not see the any calendar directly in Finder or Time Machine, but a Finder search on My Passport's latest backup showed various calendar stuff, including .ics files, in [users/myname/library] which were hidden.
I either restored one of these, or imported one via Calendar. I tried both, but neither seemed to work at the time. However, I reopened Calendar a some time later and found that the “lost” calendar had returned.
I couldn't find a way of revealing hidden files in the preferences, and I think that the library containing the Calendar files must be hidden because I could only see them via “search”.
Anyway, all's well that ends well, but I wish that I really knew how I fixed it. Thanks for your help.

HT204266 app store continually shows '1' but all apps up to date

I have an iPhone 3GS, after installing Real Racing 2, after installing version 1.13.01 (H491), the Apple Apps store continually re-displays a '1' notification, even if I go in to it, it shows 'all apps up to date', has anyone else had this problem? I have not contacted firemint yet, does installing iOS 5 fix this problem?

Tried that, tries a soft reset, and a hard reset, no luck. Funny thing is, my other iphones and IPad work fine, its just the Iphone 5.

Extend End date after the end date has reached

Hi gurus,
    We are using SRM5.0 on ECS with backend ECC5.0.
    We notice that after the end date of bid has reached even though there is a bid submitted by supplier , the purchaser still can extend the end date to a later date as long as he has not made the accept or reject choice.
    If it is the case, the purchaser can view the price after the end date reached and then extend the end date and maybe tell other supplier what the price the opponent has submitted. This is not allowed and should be penaltied.
    We just want to know how to avoid this in the term of system. Can we make the
end date field unchangeable after the end date has reached? or any other solutions?

As Teja and SAndeep mentioned,you can go for either the Approval or BADI approach.
In case you are implementing the BADI,you can make the concerned fields grayed out so no changes are made but then this would mean that <b>no changes
</b> can be done at all after the END date has been reached.
In case of workflow,you can have you starting conditions in which you will compare the end date and the system date .If same,you can trigger a Workflow for approval of any changes to be done further.So even if the changes are made,the chnages are approved by a higher authority.
Another way would be to implement the "BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI" to check whether the end date has been reached and then allow the user to do any changes.You can use the FM "BBP_PD_BID_GETDETAIL" to get the details of the BI and then check.In this case,you can additionally check for other parameters of the User like role,authorisation based on which he can make changes in exceptional cases.
