All my music is gone in both itunes in pc and icloud...

So ive uploaded every music i have in my macbook's itunes perfectly and i could see it on my iphone and my other mac pro.
But since i had no storage left in my macbook, ive decided to delete all my music in itunes since i thought that i will no longer require them physically in my macbook as i can always re download them.
When i tried to delete it prompted me if i should delete the songs in icloud as well and i said no and just deleted songs in itunes.
However all of a sudden now i cannot see the songs in iphone anymore and its all gone. Plus since i deleted the songs even in trash can permanently i am now shocked as ive just lost all my songs in one click.
I thought that all my songs were in the icloud. Whats up with this now? Where are my songs in icloud? Or does this mean i always need a physical computer to store my physical songs still acting as a home server?
Since i was on the way to work and realized all my songs were gone in iphone, i havent checked my other mac pro yet to see if i have my songs still since i downloaded them all after enabling the itunes match, im afraid they are gone just like the iphone.
Please enlighten me on this as im really frustrated.

I'm saying that the iPhone may not be setup properly to view iCloud music and (crosses fingers) it's still avialable via your iTunes MBP computer.
I wouldn't worry about moving anything one you copy the data back local, just do a copy instead.   Copy it to Time Machine or Dropbox or a USB connected external HDD (the last being my own personal preference).  The goal isn't so much to play the songs from that location, but only to have it backed up there in case of an emergency.  Once the files are copied, then worry about deleting the local files if you need the space.
An external HDD should, in theory, be usable as a local library on your MPB.   But it could actually be an inconvenience to always have it running when you're in iTunes.   But as a backup location, it's all about peace of mind in case Apple gets hacked or has some catastrophic data center failure or, more likely, you hit the delete button by accident and the iCloud album is gone.   If you care about your data, it's worth having a backup.
