All my office programs are crashing regularly, especially Outlook!!!

MS Office programs, all of them, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc. all crashing.
Started when I upgraded to Office 2013/365
Every other program is stable on the machine.
Removed completely and reinstalled. Remove all display drivers completely and reinstalled.
Almost without fail, the issue is similar to:
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\root\office15\OUTLOOK.EXE
Faulting module path: C:\windows\system32\atidxx32.dll

HERE IS THE THING ...... there is no atidxx32.dll at system32\atidxx32.dll and there should not be.
atidxx32.dll is under syswow64 ... right where it should be.
For whatever reason, MS OFFICE appears lost!

Please first try to open Office programs in safe mode to check the crash will stop. See:

All video content players are crashing regularly - any ideas please?

Every application that plays any kind of video is crashing on a regular basis.
Quicktime and VLC cannot get through about 20 minutes of video without suddenly freezing and after about 15 seconds of beach ball quit.
Safari and Firefox do the same thing with any YouTube, Google Video or other Flash based video.
I have checked that I have the latest version of all the relevant software, i.e. OS X 10.5.4, Quicktime 7.5, VLC 0.8.6h, Safari 3.1.2, Firefox 3.0 and Flash Player 10.
It started happening a month or so ago - before all the mentioned software was updated - evidently none of the updates made any difference.
The same thing happens whether the application is the only one running or not and whether the video file is on my main hard drive or one of the other internal drives - I tried using SleeplessHD in case it was because of a drive going to sleep.

The crash logs follow (edited to jump to crashed threads) - there doesn't seem to be a crash log for Safari generated in the last four months. As a side issue, I have just noticed that all online flash video looks like very poorly encoded .avi, i.e. no keyframes and mainly composed of green blocks - totally unwatchable. I'm guessing that this is down to the new Flash plug-in so I'm going to try to revert to the previous version.

After software update, all of my programs keep crashing

I updated everything on my computer last night and since then, all of my programs are crashing as soon as I open them. Safari, iTunes, even the Sims 3 and my dashboard. I ran a virus scan and it says there isn't a virus on my computer. And I tried restarting the computer. Has anyone had a similar problem after the update or know what I can do?

Magic: After installing Lion on a clean HD, all accounts and programs are back

After I've erased my iMac, I did a clean install through an external USB with Lion 10.7.4. MAGIC: All former user-accounts and programs (include office) are back again.
What was happened?
I'm using iCloud and Time Mashine. A few days before, my iMac (10.7.5) had some errors, and than suddenly, it didn't start again. I've tried to reinstall from Time Mashine, but after about 60%, it had quit with an error. It might been an HD error, so I did an secure erase (with Disc Utility). After that, I booted from my USB with 10.7.4 installer and have installed Lion, restarted, and than there it was: All former user accounts and programs are back! I've thought, I has got crazy. But now, I hope, someone can explain me, what has happend.

I completed a fresh install of Lion on my HDD and migrated my data over with the migration assitant and all has worked well. Not flawlessly however all problems I encountered I could get past with a little thinking.
I must say the computer is running so much better now (touch wood, I dont want to post this and have my computer crash xD). No more spinning beach ball, no more waiting excessively for apps to launch. In terms of speed it appears it is now close to the way SL used to be (of course I dont expect it to be on par as Lion is a new OS which is yet to be refined).

In terms of battery life I cannot comment, I am yet to use the computer for a period of time on battery. I will report back when I do so, most likely in a day or so (if that).
I must recommend that if anyone is experiancing slow downs of their Mac after installing Lion, and it is obviously not Spotlight indexing to blame, that they try this. It does appear to improve general speed.
That is good for many people to know, so thank you.
I do hope Apple release updates and patches for Lion quite soon, it still has bugs in my mind.
I have no information on it, but I would bet on it.

Some qt only programs are crashing opening the "Open File" dialog

Hello Archers,
I'm having some trouble to find out what's crausing the crashes, so i can properly fill a bug report upstream.
Here is the issue:
* After an upgrade from glibc 2.13-5 to glibc 2.14-4, some qt-only apps are crashing when i open the "Open File" dialog. This only happens when using specific KDE 4.6.4 or KDE 4.6.5 styles, like Oxygen and QtCurve.
* Before i upgrade KDE from 4.6.4 to 4.6.5, i downgraded glibc and its dependencies to glibc 2.13-5 and the bug was gone. After upgrading KDE to 4.6.5, i didn't try the downgrade again because KDE 4.6.5 requires glibc 2.14 and the process of downgrading become unsustainable.
* I tried removing the crashing apps data from my home directory and the crash still exists. I also tried to create a new user and start the apps from that new environment and the apps crashes, so the bug is not user-specific.
* I tried replacing the binary nvidia driver with xf86-video-nouveau but the issue persists.
* The apps crashing (and not applying the kde theme) are the following:

Pointer moving all around and programs are opening

I am trying to use my trackpad as I always have, but my mouse keeps moving around (kind of like it has a mind of it's own). I also find that programs are randomly opening up and it feels like someone else is in control of my computer. Help please!

I recently had the same thing happen. I updated and the next day the track pad started working erractically. Tried all sorts of things, but cleaning it solved my problem.
To fix it, I turned the computer off, used a cleaner for my eyeglasses and made sure I cleaned the trackpad really well. I used a tip of a needle to clean out the edges of the trackpad, as it was dirtier than I thought. Maybe something about the update makes the trackpad more sensitive to dirt. In other threads I read not to use hand lotions before using trackpad and to keep the trackpad as clean as possible.
This completely solved the problem.

Windows XP and Satellite M40X - programs are crashing

Hi, I recently purchased the satellite m40x from Germany. The windows was in German hence after coming back to India, I tried to install the University Licensed version of Windows XP on it.
I have tried many versions of windows with and without service packs but the problem remains that with many applications like Yahoo! Messenger 7 and Nero Start Smart and Age of empires and many others .. the programs crash. I am not able to understand the reason behind this. With the german windows all these programs were working.
after the installations the program works but after restarting the computer it starts giving error. Some of the older messenger versions are working But no version of nero is not working.

Toshiba Asia cannot provide any support because this model has not been launched in India as yet.

My reds in all my adobe programs are orange now and I don't know how to fix it

I have the Adobe Creative Suite 4 for a mac. All of the red tones in my color pallets now are orange tones. This is happening in all of my adobe programs (InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash and Illustrator). I dont know what I changed but I messed up something. I will type in the cmyk values and my co worker will type in the same ones on his computer, and the color looks orange on my screen and red on his screen. Does anyone have a clue what I changed. Cisco E4200v2 crashes regularly, especially during streaming videos from websites

I have a new Cisco E4200v2 which is regularly crashing since day1. I tried many forum suggestions and posts however no luck please help.
Home setup
1 desktop wired
1 laptop connected via 2.4 GHZ wifi
2 IP security camera connected via wifi
1 Android Phone (HTC Desire HD) and this is used by my dad to stream news videos, 2.4 GHz
1 Android phone, connected via 5 GHZ (occasionally)
1 iPhone 4, connected via 2.4 GHZ (occasionally)
1 Android media player, connected via 2.4 GHZ, steams HD videos from desktop
1 VOIP device however it is not active always (used 1-2 hrs a day)
Most of the time crashes while video streaming.
Router settings
Both 5 ghz and 2.4 ghz are WPA2, 20 HZ only
Firmware Version: 2.0.37
I have tried following
Changed MTU to 1480.. if I change MTU to 1400 nothing works so I have realised 1480 is efficient for my network, actually 1500 is also works however I read on the forums that lowering the MTU gives stability
Changed 2.4 ghz Wi-Fi channel to 11
Changed 2.4 ghz to G only
30-30 reset
Please help. It hurts to spend on a new router and it does not perform.
