Excellent stuff. All we need now is the ability to monitor Speedgrade's output using 3rd party hardware like the AJA Kona cards. Love the Colour Chart automatic alignment feature. Very helpful for rushes transfers as well.

You cannot move or copy software between computers. You must reinstall. You will need the serial number. Check your account details on Adobe's site if you registered.

Photoshop CC is the equivalent of CS7... and it is available ONLY by paying for a monthly subscription... your CS6 serial number does not work for CC

Two things:
First, I think Mr. Rufus Deuchler could probably read the phone book out loud and it would still be captivating. Great Voice!
And Second, I just have to say how happy I am that I joined Creative Cloud. I had never really explored any type of visual arts or visual design in my life. While I still have so very far to go and much to learn, I find that I am inspired because of all the tools at my disposal AND all the support and incredibly talented mentors and career role-models readily available and genuinely interested in my success.
I have probably mentioned Creative Cloud to at least one person every day since I've joined. This is possibly the coolest thing you've ever done, Adobe.

Hi Amanda,
Software applications are usually installed in the Applications folder on the Macintosh HD and are accessible to all users.
I would advise you to check the Applications folder and see if your software is in there.
Next step would be to Control Click or Right Click on the application and choose "Get Info" and make sure the permissions are set to "Read & Write" for all users. The article below provides more details:

The point is not whether you used iTunes or iCloud to restore your new iPhone. It's whether you have Contacts turned on in Settings > ICloud. If you do on both your old iPhone and new iPhone then those devices are connected through iCloud. Deletions on one device are also made on the other.
You may be able to restore your Contacts be using your old device backup to restore your new iPhone again. Make sure that you turn Off ICloud functionality on your old iPhone before you delete anything else from it.

Hi Khuram1981 - thank you thank you thank you! All sorted! dont suppose you know how to fix another problem I have??? for weeks now, since updating to ios5 I think, for some reason every time I have tried to log onto app store it says CANNOT CONNECT TO ITUNES STORE. It's nothing to do with my computer, and I've been to the Geniius bar but they couldnt help and nothing I seem to do lets me update my Apps and even worse, I cant even buy any more. Any suggestions?

I saw the below quote on Adobe forum
"You may install software on up to two computers. These two computers can be Windows, Mac OS, or one each."
If i install each application in single single system the system count is more than two. In this case, are we have any license issue? Please advice how the problem will solve?

I already answered that. If you purchased a Suite then you can only install and activate it on two machines. Even if you only insdtall one of the applications of that suite, it counts as one activation of the suite. You cannot take the six or seven different applications that might be in a suite and install and activate them in six or seven different machines... only two machines.
If your scenario will allow for it, one thing you can do is install the programs on all the different machines and only activate two of the machines at any given time. If you need to activate a program on a third machine then you need to deactivate on one of the currently activate machines first so that you have an open activation to use again. I do not remember if there is a limit to the total number of activations you can process for the life of the software.

Transferring applications between machines will not work. You need to install using installations files. Uninstall and Try using the CS Cleaner Tool before installing.

I am changing from Word to Pages. I have created my custom template with all my styles etc and that is what comes up when I go for a New Document. Fine. How do I get it to use the same Custom Template when I use Pages to open a Word document?

I am changing from Word to Pages. I have created my custom template with all my styles etc and that is what comes up when I go for a New Document. Fine. How do I get it to use the same Custom Template when I use Pages to open a Word document?

The template is a document in itself, it is not applied to an existing document whether it is a Pages document or a Word document converted to a Pages document.
You would need to either copy and paste content, using existing styles, or apply the styles to the converted Word document.
You can Import the Styles from an existing document and those imported Styles can be used to override the current document's styles:
Menu > Format > Import Styles
The process is simplified if the styles use the same names, otherwise you will need to delete the style you don't want and replace it with the one that you do want when asked, then the substitution is pretty straightforward.

When I download camera raw 8.5 and install the raw converter doesnt work anymore, wont even open or isnt available anymore in the plugin list. Tried to reinstall everything for a few times, but nothing helps.

When I search for updates the raw converter doesnt get update automaticly. Frustrating, is costing me the whole morning.
