All of a sudden audio in youtube does not work? OK in IE though

all of a sudden when I play a video in YouTube the audio does not work. Works fine in Internet Explorer though.

I see you are on Windows 7. Have you accidentally muted Firefox? While Firefox is running, try right clicking on the volume icon in the task bar and choose ''Open Volume Mixer''. Here you have options to mute the whole system or individual programs. Check to be sure you haven't muted Firefox by accident.
If that doesn't work, you can also look at the Knowledge Base article [[Video or audio does not play]]. There is lots of good stuff in there about troubleshooting different multimedia plugins.

Did your computer crash or did Firefox crash causing the loss of the bookmarks?
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox Profile Folder.

I would like to print via the USB connection instead of wireless (the wireless does work, and the scanner works via USB).
I tried connecting the printer directly (via USB) to my MacBook Pro laptop and it worked just fine.
How can I make this printer work on my iMac?
I spent 4 hours on the phone with HP and we did every combination of installation of drivers ad nausum and their bottom line is that it is a Mac problem.
Any help would be appreciated. Will be sending this printer back to Amazon if I can't make it work on the USB.

After 4 hours on the phone with HP and another hour with Apple (Mavericks support) no real solution other than check everything (removed everything from Login Items, removed all HP software anywhere in the system reboot, reinstall printer) then when nothing worked for the 4500, did an OS Reinstall (boot with CMD+R).
The Mavericks support group did open an incident (# 542875311) and I will update it when I figure out how to find it on the system.
My feel is that the base problem is that somewhere between the HP-Inkjet-SW-OSX-Mavericks_v12.34.49-2 package and the Apple HP Printer software in the Library (version 2.16.1) the app for printing via the USP Port just does not get installed for the mid 2007 20 inch iMac. The scanner is recognized on the USB Port and the Printer works fine on Wi-Fi. I have too many devices to burden my home network with anothe device. Also, every time I put any HP Printer on Wi-Fi, my router (Netgear N600 WNDR3400 running 12 to 20 devices depending on who is home) gets wonky (but that's anothe story...).
Additionally, when I attach the HP Envy 4500 to my MacBook Pro (2010) it works perfect - print and scan via the USB prot and both functions show in the System Preferences - Printers and Scanners just as expected and just as the 3050 does.

Well, perhaps the problem exists because the Russian phone networks do not support the iPhone. This could be one reason.
The only solution you have is to do into one of the Russian phone stores and ask them to see if they know why the sim cards won't work or last resort, you contact the Apple store in Germany - there is an online Apple store that you can contact and ask them why Russian sim cards won't work in an unlocked iPhone.
Nobody else can really help you - you need to contact the Apple store in Germany directly or go to one of the Russian phone operators and ask them.

Are you sending files from the Adobe Send interface, Adobe Reader, or the Outlook plug-in?
Have you checked to see whether the files that you're sending appear in the Recent Files/Sent Files list when you're logged on to https://cloud.acrobat.com? (It could be that they're uploading, but not being sent.)
It would also be worthwhile to send the files in smaller batches, to see whether a particular file or files is problematic, and causing the error.
Please let us know how it goes. If you're still having trouble, please let us know where you're sending from, and whether you're able to send the files in smaller batches. It would also be helpful to know the exact error message that you're receiving.

I don't know what other solutions you've tried but on mine it was like a "Ghost in the Machine" (moving around and clicking on things on its own) and all I did to fix it was to lightly dampen a cotton ball with window cleaner (evaporates) and clean firmly around the inside edge of the pad and to also click it firmly quickly and many times to clean out ANY kind of dust or debris that has fallen into the cracks. worked GREAT for me , so far!!???

Drivers 2.84: audio control still does not work

is still got the same problems i already had with the v1.13 drivers. The soundstorm panel output sliders don't. They just don't work at all. The windows "sndvol32.exe" works fine though. I am running a german windows XP. I deleted all localized .dll's as the are unusable anyway. ( I donno who has done translation and QC at NVIDIA)
And my major problem:
Under Input / Record there is no recording device available. (Digitzed input is there)
to sum things up:
- The output sliders still do NOT work at all
- There is still no recording device selectable
- Localization got better, but is still unusable (same prob as with the 41.xx video drivers. the text just does not fit in the panel, which looks garbled)

but, i already tried it. I switched every possible thing to english(USA). removed the old drivers, cleared the registry, installed from scratch ... The Soundstorm Control still does not work. I guess it's because i am running a german Windows XP ( Though i really switched everything to english..)

I have an issue were Youtube is not functional in any of my web browsers (Safari, Firefox, and Chrome). I cannot find a fix to this issue anywhere else. All I keep getting is "An error occured, please try again later". I have I have tried "Option+Command+R" and this still does not resolve the issue.
I am running OSX Yosemite version 10.10.2

Please let me know if you require additional information.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Step 1
For this step, the title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
          SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
          View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
In the top right corner of the Console window, there's a search box labeled Filter. Initially the words "String Matching" are shown in that box. Enter the name of the crashed application or process. For example, if Safari crashed, you would enter "Safari" (without the quotes.)
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
☞ The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
☞ Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

In the Console window, select
          DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ User Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of crash reports. The name of each report starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report related to the process in question. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a crash, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful.

I have a Roland A-90 ex midi thru M-Audio prokeys 88 into an iMac and have Logic Pro 9, Sibelius 6 and Miroslav Philharmonik to use. Problem is that in all three applications the midi key OFF does not work on the odd occasion and a note STICKS.

Yes... but I have come across some setups that came with a native SL (and even one Lion!) installation.. that somehow had a corrupted or older Prokit installed for some unknown reason... and given it's a quick fix to try.. I thought I'd mention it..
I frankly don't think it is entirely a Prokit issue itself, but it wouldn't do any harm to try and install v7 just in case it is part of the problem...
+1 on the UAD stuff....
Also, at the time it crashed... according to the logs...the OP was running Ableton Live at the same time, presumably rewired with Logic... so add all that together with UAD plugins... and that's quite a load on the system...
Finally in thread 32 there is a weird exception msg relating to the Trash2 plugin.. that I haven't seen before...

That might be nothing... but as i said, I haven't seen that one before and given what else is going on.. it might be involved too... or nothing to do with that at all!

Are you talking about the English dictionary? Mine seems to work ok on the AZ republic web page. Does yours not work on all webpages? Does it not work when you type an English word in Notes and then do select and define?
