All of a sudden audio needs re-rendering when i do ANYTHING at all...

I've had to rerender the audio (from the beeping) after I did something to the audio (i.e. increased the base volume levels), but editing the associated video never made me re-render the audio before. For some reason, now the audio needs rerendered after each edit, or even just when I move through the project. I've been editing for weeks now and I have not seen this before. I'm working from the same batch of .dv video. I don't think I've done anything differently, why is FCE acting differently and thwarting my progress.

yes, this was high-8 footage digitized via imovie.
i have it in hour long .dv files.
i'm multiple files into the project, following the same protocol I have been from the beginning, and for some reason, now its needing re-rendered more often than previously.
previously, audio needed re-rendered at least twice, once when i started the new sequence and once after i changed the audio levels.
now it needs re-rendered on a hair trigger.
when i click between tracks or move through the video at all, or breathe, the whole dern audio needs re-rendered again.
what is different? what am i doing different between this sequence and the last?
the last clip was .dv and imported from imovie in the same batch. i don't get it.

Since you are running Lion, you will not see Exposé & Spaces - they don't exist in Lion.
Their function, that of multiple desktop arrangements, has been replaced by Mission Control.
You may have accidentally set up Mission Control; or inadvertantly activated it. The latter is easy to do if you're using a Magic Mouse - a two-finger double-tap (not click) on the mouse will engage Mission Control.
The two-finger double-tap can be deactivated in System Preferences > Mouse > More Gestures. Uncheck the Mission Control item, and it won't respond that way to a two-finger double-tap again. You can then still access Mission Control via its icon in the Dock.
To get rid of extra desktops in Mission Control, activate Mission Control. Then hover the cursor over the desktop you'd like to remove; a circled-X will appear in one corner of that disktop - click it and that desktop will be removed. Any open program using that desktop will then be moved to another, yet-available desktop.
There is a control pane for Mission Control in System Preferences. Selecting that will allow you to make some settings re how Mission Control behaves, including the setting/clearing of a hot corner.

I meant flickering means...when i open combobox and click focus is going out of air window as though combobox is in some another window. once click press mouse down...focus is in combo box but window loses focus and once releases mouse ..window back to focus. Kinda annoying effect when u try to click on combo box and select.
Tested with html scout sample app and load any webpage with combobox , window loses focus.
But any combobox made using EXT it do not flicker because ext handles focus event correctly.
My windows has set of combo box and user always select different value from combo box if keep losing focus and coming back its annoying as hell.

Ipod Touch 5G - video choppy all of a sudden audio fine

Videos have played fine now all of a sudden last few days, they are all choppy - audio is fine though. It is not my internet since my other computers not having this issue only Ipod Touch 5G
I first noticed it on Facebook, then went to youtube to my own videos and they are also choppy. Any thoughts out there?
I have done all updates and all.

All of a sudden audio in youtube does not work? OK in IE though

all of a sudden when I play a video in YouTube the audio does not work. Works fine in Internet Explorer though.

I see you are on Windows 7. Have you accidentally muted Firefox? While Firefox is running, try right clicking on the volume icon in the task bar and choose ''Open Volume Mixer''. Here you have options to mute the whole system or individual programs. Check to be sure you haven't muted Firefox by accident.
If that doesn't work, you can also look at the Knowledge Base article [[Video or audio does not play]]. There is lots of good stuff in there about troubleshooting different multimedia plugins.

All of a sudden i need a password?

my airport extreme just took a vacation...the fans have no black...tells me it recognizes the network but that i need a wap password...never did before...any way to get back wireless? did i do something wrong? my sister used her pc here last night and i am afraid that may have something to do with it. never had a problem before.

+Sounds like it would be best to perform a "factory default" reset+
to be sure, this means all your settings will be gone and you'll have to set up your AEBS from scratch. you may want to use this route as a last resort.
if your extreme is running 24/7, i would recommend a complete power recycle first, i.e. turn off modem and AEBS for a while, then turn modem back on 1st, then turn the AEBS back on.
if that won't get your wireless back, do what Tesserax suggested

Outgoing emails are not being sent from my email address all of a sudden. It started happening when I changed my gmail password

After I changed my gmail password my outgoing emails are no longer being sent from my gmail account, but are being sent from my spouse's account so that replies go into her inbox, not mine.

You may have a corrupt preference, in order to correct this open Mail - Preferences - Accounts and re-input all the preferences for the account. While they may look ok one or more may be corrupt.

What type of troubleshooting were we able to do with you? I want to make sure that we can get some sort of resolution for this problem.
It is quite possible the battery door may get your phone in working order again. I'm not sure if the store has it in stock, but it is available in our warehouse for $14.99 which can be ordered via customer service.

My HP all in one is acting up-it is 10 months old. All of a sudden there is no picture when I start

I can hear the sound of start up and the picture comes on for a second and then it goes black. Can't log in or even touchyng the screen doesnt work?

The PDU checks the connectivity, spooler condition, online status, device manager, print queue, ports, driver, conflicts, and default printer.
