All of a sudden certain sites will not download pdf files; they work fine on Internet Explorer

This started happening a few months ago; I have two W7 laptops and same problem on both; Thoughts?

Firefox has a setting for what to do with PDFs. The options include displaying it in a Firefox tab using a built-in viewer or the Adobe PDF viewer, or opening it using an external application such as Adobe Reader, or just saving the file. The settings file that stores those choices sometimes becomes corrupted. In that case, the standard medicine is to remove the file and have Firefox generate a new one with default settings. If you find that Firefox ignores your selections in Options, then here is how you would do that:
Open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using either
* "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Troubleshooting Information
* (menu bar) Help > Troubleshooting Information
* type or paste about:support in the address bar and press Enter
In the first table on the page, click the "Show Folder" button
Leaving that window open, switch back to Firefox and Exit, either:
* "3-bar" menu button > "power" button
* (menu bar) File > Exit
Pause while Firefox finishes its cleanup, then rename '''mimeTypes.rdf''' to something like mimeTypes.old
Start Firefox back up again. If desired, using the History menu to Restore Previous Session so you can pick up where you left off.
By default, PDFs should now display in the built-in viewer. Does it work?

Do you have Adobe Reader on your computer? If not, that may be the problem. You can download the latest version from the Adobe Reader website.
If you do have it, hopefully someone else can help.

When I try to load a pdf in iframe and I disable PDF toolbar, Its working fine in Internet Explorer and lower versions of Firefox, but in Firefox 19 its not

When I try to load a PDF inside Iframe and I disable toolar=0 (as guided by adobe). I am able to see the iframe with PDF with no toolbar in IE and lower versions of Firefox (till version 14).
But in my current version 29, The PDF is visible with toolbar on top.
Can you please let me know the way to display pdf with no toolbar in Firefox 29?

I have not been able to reinstall Acrobat Pro on my laptop. I have Suite 6 Design & Web Premium on my HP laptop. I have Windows 7 operating system. All of a sudden Acrobat Pro will not open so I uninstalled and tried to reinstall the program.
The error messages I get are:

All of a sudden my IPhone will not play my music. I upgraded to ios5 awhile back and everything was fine in fact it was fine over a week ago now when I go to play it only shows the album art and the songs do not play. Also when the songs it wants to play (it's like it has a mind of it's own) play the album art and songs do not match up. The majority of the songs are purchased from ITunes if that helps. I tried unsyching my music then resyncing as suggested in another post and I still have this problem. I accidently reset all settings and I am wondering if this has anything to do with it, everything was fine until I did that. Now the only thing it is syncing is the music I ripped and loaded none of my purchased music. Very frustrating

I'm at a gym where I can plug my ipod into the machines to listen to music and save the battery, it worked fine and all of a sudden, it is showing not supported, other peoples still work.

I am at a gym where each machine has a port for ipods so you can listen to music through the machine and not run your battery down. My worked fine for two months now all of a sudden, it is showing "not supported" and no longer works. Anything I can reset on my ipod to get this working again?

Have you tried using a different cable? Try cleaning out the iPod's dock connector port making sure that it is clean and clear of debris as well as free of damage to the pins.

Netflix and Youtube will not play on Firefox but I can still hear sound and can pause with the space bar. Works fine on Internet Explorer.

All of a sudden last night after Firefox restarted after an update I am no longer able to play Netflix or Youtube. I can hear the sounds from whatever I select to play but the browser is black and I can even pause using the space bar but no interaction with the cursor. Both Netflix and Youtube work fine on Internet Explorer... I tried updating plug ins, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling plug ins and I even uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox itself but nothing has helped. Not sure what steps to take next...
