All of a sudden my audio configuration is wrong??

I downloaded and installed the new version of iTunes
(7.2.*) and now I get the following error message if
I try to open the program:
iTunes cannot run becaues it has detected a problem
with your audio configuration
Why is this happening? The previous version (7.1.*)
didn't have any problems whatsoever. How do I fix
this if I can't even open the program?

I too got the same message. Uninstalled 7.2.* and reinstalled. Same problem. Uninstalled 7.2.* and reinstalled 7.1.* Same error note. Now cannot access Itunes at all. Very frustrating!!! Did you get any response or any advice elsewhere??

Help: All of a sudden no audio in certain Garage B. Projects?!

Hi, I was just doing some editing in a Garage Band Project and all of a sudden there is no Audio coming out of the master.. Sound works on the Macbook in any other application .. i've rebooted and everything with no luck.
The weird thing is that the project I was working on was functioning normal then bam out of nowhere there are no audio levels coming up for master even though each individual track has the lines moving (making them seem fine).. It gets weirder because a couple old projects all work fine with the master sound with no problems.. Just my 3 newest projects including if I try to start a new one have this problem..
Any suggestions?!

Did you try the reset? It wouldn't hurt to try closing all of the apps on the iPad and then reset the device. Take a sort of fresh start approach. Give it a try.
Closing apps in iOS 7 works like this. You have to drag the app up from the multitasking display.
Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Missing songs and incorrect audio configuration

I've downloaded 8.1 this morning it has managed to crash my computer 3 times, 4 of the songs I tried to download cannot be found anywhere on the system however when I try to re purchase the money has been deducted and it says I've already downloaded them, and an error bar comes up saying my audio configuration is wrong so the 2 songs that did download and all the rest of my library wont actually play anymore! Please Help, I've never had any problems downloading or playing sons before this upgrade.

You need to turn off the Zoom accessibility feature. Tap the screen twice with three fingers to get to normal screen. Then go to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn Zoom off. You can also do that by connect the computer to iTunes and going to the Summary pane for the iPod and go to Configure Universal Access.

Ipod Touch 5G - video choppy all of a sudden audio fine

Videos have played fine now all of a sudden last few days, they are all choppy - audio is fine though. It is not my internet since my other computers not having this issue only Ipod Touch 5G
I first noticed it on Facebook, then went to youtube to my own videos and they are also choppy. Any thoughts out there?
I have done all updates and all.

Error message after upgrade to iTunes 11: "iTunes has detected a problem with your audio configuration. Audio/Video playback may not operate properly." At this point my PC running XP loses all audio.

Several attempts to upgrade to iTunes 11 have failed. After an upgrade to 11 the error message reads: "iTunes has detected a problem with your audio configuration. Audio/Video playback may not operate properly." At this point--after the upgrade to iTunes 11--my PC running Windows XP loses audio playback for all functions--in iTunes, in the browser and the volume icon disappears from the System Tray. Only by removing iTunes 11, and then using System Restore to turn back the OS settings can I return the PC to normal functioning.
I did that. I reinstalled iTunes 10.5. Everything seemed fine, but when I try to plug in and copy a CD to my iPhone 4S an error message reads roughly: 'iPhone 4S requires iTunes 10.5 or higher to work.'
What might be the problem with my audio configuration?
Why doesn't my iPhone 4S work with iTunes 10.5? It used to work with iTunes 10.5.

In Adobe Prem Pro, I'm finishing a short film. All, of a sudden I am bringing over one last clip, and I can't get an audio track. So, if I select a clip and drag it over, only the video shows up. What did I do? How can I fix it?

My guess is that you accidentally clicked off the highlighted "A1" in the image below.
If neither A1 or V1 is in those boxes you can drag and drop. If you do that, the A1 and V1 will show up. However, if only one of them is there, then you will only be able to drop the video or the audio depending on which one is there.
Make sure that yours look like mine. If necessary, reset your workspace.

Logic Pro X all of a sudden can't detect input from M-Audio Mobile Pre

I was recording guitars when I had to step away for a while. I closed the lid on my MBP and left. When I came back, all of a sudden, Logic can't detect any inputs coming from my USB interface. I have tried everything from rebooting, switching to the other input on my interface, updating drivers, but nothing seems to work. What's worse is whenever I start Logic with my interface plugged in, Logic gets stuck at Checking MIDI Drivers. If I unplug my interface, Logic would start fine, but if I plug my interface back, Logic won't detect it.
I am using the M-Audio's input while I am using the Built-In Output on the MBP (I don't have monitor speakers). It was working fine before.
I am using a Mid-2012 MBP 15" on OSX Mountain Lion and an M-Audio MobilePre MKII USB interface.

In this exact order
1) Unplug MobilePre
2) Remove it's drivers using the uninstall routine that is in the Driver DMG image ...
Note: If you get a message about it cannot uninstall.. Restart your Mac and then try to uninstall again...
3) Restart your Mac after you have uninstalled the drivers..
4) Reinstall latest drivers......
5) Restart Mac..
6) Wait until Mac has restarted and then plug in MobilePre...
It should then be correctly recognized and work....

YouTube might have changed the setting.
Hover the mouse near the speaker and and hold to reveal the volume slider.

2)go to the Mac Address Clone subtab , enable it and click "Clone" . Save the settings

a) computer
b) operating system
c) application (i.e. Logic)
b) sub program's (i.e. plugins)
could all together trigger the cause.
So a lot more info would certainly help us to make some sort of intelligent guess.

Download/install an app is a know possible solution.

Hello I have a iPhone 5S all of a sudden my music that I have purchased only plays on 1 speaker. I thought it was a bad audio cable so I brought it back to the store. Only to have the same thing happen again. What is going on?

I have a iPhone 5s all of a sudden my music on my iPhone would only ply oit of one speaker in the car. I thought it was the Audio Cable went and brought another Audio Cable and the same thing again. I than plugged my son phone which is a NOTE 3 into the Audio Cable and it started playing fine. I purchase all of my music from the Apple Store and one of the reasons is because I enjoy listening to my phone with my playlist inside my car. Has anyone else experienced this? Apple needs to fix this ASAP or refund me my money back for all the songs I purchased.

If you connect headphones to your 5s do you also hear music on from one side?
If yes get a light and inspect the headphone jack and clean out any dirt/debris/ etc. you find in there.
If that does not fix it you will need to get your iPhone replaceed under your warranty.

Has anybody found the fix for when audio stops working all of a sudden in FIrefox

I DO NOT want to restart Firefox - and YES - I have RESET Firefox itself MANY TIMES - AND YES - I have the LATEST FIrefox - AND NO - I don't have any conflicting add-ins / extensions other than Fire FTP - and this happens ALL THE TIME - Does anybody know a workaround or a fix for this that won't mean restarting etc?
