All of a sudden my iphone wont play through my MPS docking station.
Up until this week I have happily been docking my iphone and playing the Tuen in Radio app. Then disaster- this week when I plug in to the mp3 iphone a message flashes up iphone unable to support this accessory.
I have rebooted my phone
I have checked for updates on my phone
I have checked its not the MP3 by testing my ipod in it- and it works
So have apple released an update- that may have affected this.
Has anyone else encountered an MP£ that suddenly became incompatible with their phone
Or have I knocked a setting

My ipod touch has stopped playing through my Sony docking station, It only plays through the i pod. It's not the docking station as my daughter's ipod works fine on it. It can synch when connected to computer. Any ideas what is wrong?
Have discovered that I had not in fact updated the ios!!
Went through the process last night and my ipod now works fine on my docking station.

My iphone wont play through accessory
My 32GB iPhone 3GS won't play music through the plug in accessory. I have 2 different accessories that plug into the bottom of the iphone to play music and both no longer work. I have checked the accessories with my other iPhone and they work with it, so it must be the phone.
Both accessories used to work.
When the iPhone is plugged in the music is played through the external iPhone speaker like it isn't connected at all.
I have inspected and "blown out" the iphone connector. Everything appears OK.
Could this be a software issue? Or a hardware issue? Everything else seems to working fine.
Ideas? Help pleaseSettings > General > Accessibility > Mono Audio > Set it to OFF.

having problems palying music through my earphones, right side play fine but left side is very quite. also when i plug into my trucks radio it doesnt play through any of my left side of speakers. Anyone have any ideas?

All of a sudden my IPhone will not play all of my music
All of a sudden my IPhone will not play my music. I upgraded to ios5 awhile back and everything was fine in fact it was fine over a week ago now when I go to play it only shows the album art and the songs do not play. Also when the songs it wants to play (it's like it has a mind of it's own) play the album art and songs do not match up. The majority of the songs are purchased from ITunes if that helps. Thanks for your help!
I tried unsyching my music then resyncing as suggested in another post and I still have this problem. I accidently reset all settings and I am wondering if this has anything to do with it, everything was fine until I did that. Now the only thing it is syncing is the music I ripped and loaded none of my purchased music. Very frustrating

My iPhone wont play any sound without headphones in the volume
Buttons work but won't change sound my speaker won't play any sound at alli had the same problem and used a very small screwdriver, inserted carefully into the heaphone socket, to very gently push the microswitch at the bottom of the socket. i did this a couple of times and suddenly the sound works again.
i think the button down there can get stuck and cause this problem, or maybe it was just a fluke... try it anyway- it worked for me! -
all of a sudden my itunes wont come up when i hit the desktop icon. un and re installed many times, tried new users, it finally gave me "you need to reinstall sqmapi.dll " im a noob and i have know idea what that is or where i can get it. i cant open any file or library that has anything to do with itunes except safari and quicktime are fine. im about to pull out whats left of my hair.

Can you check something for me, big? I'd like to see if iTunes launches with the Bonjour Service disabled.
In your Start menu, right-click Computer and select "Manage".
Expand "Services & Applications".
Open "Services". (Perhaps maximise the screen to better see what's going on.)
Right-click the Bonjour Service and select "Properties".
In the General tab, set the Startup type to "Disabled":
... and click OK.
Restart the PC and try launching iTunes. Does it open this time? -
it says "waiting for changes to be applied? its been like that for 3 days and if it does sync all my music are grey and wont play on my ipod? any suggestions? im really getting frustrated ! -__-

I just updated my iTunes and now all of a sudden my iPhone is not syncing into iTunes. When I plug my iPhone into my computer, a thing pops up on my iPhone saying "Do you trust this computer" and I press "Trust" but it still doesn't do anything.
Sorted it out. All of a sudden my IPhone (3G, I think) "turned off" and won't power back up. I know it's not the battery, but I have it plugged in anyway. Any suggestions?
Hold down the power and home buttons at the same time for 15-20 seconds. You should see the Apple logo and it should re-boot.

All of a sudden my Iphone 4 shut off amd will not TURN ON AT ALL. Ive tried everything from holding the buttons to plugging in the usb to a computer and opening my Itunes. I cant get it to turn on...Please anythoughts???

I have had this iMac for 5 years and have had zero problems with it , I run the lastest software (not mountain Lion) and all of a sudden I can not play downloaded videos that have been sent to me. What can I do ?
Either launch VLC (assuming you have installed it) and then open the file you want to view from within VLC, or, select the file (don't open) you want to view and do Command+I and from the window that appears select VLC from the 'Open with:' option.
You can make this the default if you wish by also clicking on the 'change all' button. -
My IPhone wont play sound. Works fine in a dock, but once I pull it out it stops playing. It wont play music or ring. It will only vibrate.
I know the speakers work because it'll play for two seconds then stop playing once out of dock.No I did not this is with the switch on "on"
