All of a sudden my Voice Memo stopped working. Any idea why?

Title says it. All of a sudden the app stopped detecting sound - ? The meter won't move, and the red button is lit and fades when touched, but nothing happens. Right when I need it. Ugh.

All of a sudden my internet connection stopped working. It works for every other computer in the house. I have gone to other networks. I have turned on/off my computer. Nothing seems to work. When I click diagnosis connection it is not fixed. Please HELP! It always tells me that I am not connected to the internet yet I have full bars at the top.

Have you also tried restarting the router?
If that doesn't work, try creating a new "Location":
System Preferences > Network
Select the AirPort from the left hand side
Click on the Locations combo box and select Edit Locations...
Click on + to add a new location, call it "Home" (or anything else you prefer)
Click on Advanced
Select the AirPort tab and enter your network name
Select TCP/IP tab.
Configure IPv4 Using DHCP
Now click on Renew DHCP Lease. After a few seconds you should get an IP address (probably 192.168.x.x)
Click on Proxies tab.
Select Auto Proxy Discovery and Use Passive FTP
Click on OK and Apply, etc.

Use another browser to install Safari again.
You can download Firefox for the Mac, place the download on a USB thumb drive stick it into the Mac and copy it, run the installer.
Once FF is on, download a new copy of Safari from Apple's site.

After I upgrade lion to Mavericks, App Store stopped working, any idea how to fix this?

After I upgraded OS lion to Mavericks, in app store I had some new updates, then after a system update, which require restart, then App Store, stopped working, any one can tell me what should I do to fix this problem?

Guys just contact apple support team . They will guide you well and your problem will most probably be resolved. I contacted them and following their instructions my mac is working totally fine again. If at all the problem persist the re-install mavericks by following steps
1). Switch of mac
2). Hold option/alt key and then switch it on.
3). Then choose your language and continue.
4). Now Re-Install OS X .
5). It will start downloading and installing.
6). Leave it idle for the required amount of time.
7). It will restart automatically and your problem will be definitely resolved.
Note:
a. If there is any problem of connection follow the same steps and the downloading will start where it stopped.

Wireless suddenly stops working, no idea why......

Over the last two days, my wireless router has just kinda stopped working. I've lived in a two story home since April and when I had my services moved over, the router was placed in an area where it would be about the same distance from devices on either side of the house. We've had absolutely no problems since the installation 5-6 months ago. This is with Computers/Laptops upstairs and down, as well as gaming consoles and an iPad.
Everything has worked seemlessly....until about two days ago.
Out of nowhere, literally....most of our devices upstairs away from the router couldn't even find the network at all and the ones downstairs were extremely slow.
After contacting Verizon and troubleshooting it (to no avail), they've decided to ship me out a new router which I guess will be here next week but I just am having trouble understanding why it just stops working out of nowhere. The router hasn't been moved nor have any settings been changed.
The guy on the phone had me reset the battery box out in my garage and that did absolutely nothing but after doing some research on my own, it seems the router/modem is a piece of junk and tends to quit working after a little while.
When I hardwire myself into the router, it works without fail but the wireless aspect of it has just curled up and died on me over the last few days and I'm simply at a loss as to why and how this isn't something I should be able to correct on my own.
I have Fios and I pay for one of the higher speed packages, I don't recall which off hand but the router that I have Actiontec MI424-WR Ref F.
Anybody else have issues with this thing dying? If so, any way to fix it/make it work?
I understand that Verizon has shipped a "new" router to me but it won't be arriving until probably next week and I have to get this figured out sooner than that for my online classes if at all possible.
Halfway tempted to just go buy a modem/router.....

Log into the Westell at http://192.168.1.1/ (same goes for ActionTecs) and visit the Wireless Settings. Disable Automatic Channel Selection, and choose Channels 1, 6, or 11 to use, whichever gives the best performance, range and stability. Make sure, before applying the settings you ensure a check box for Remembering your settings through reboots is checked, this way the settings remain permanent.
The FiOS routers should be using a login of admin for the username, and the router's serial number as the password.

I get 5 bars but still need a MicroCell (which stopped working), any ideas?

OK, I get 5 bars without the Micro Cell BUT only about 20% of my incoming calls get through (the rest go straight to VM). Outgoing calls seem to be OK, but text messages will take about 10 minutes to come in. Obviously this is unacceptable so we decided to purchase a MicroCell a couple weeks ago and it started off working great. As soon as we were in our office all our iPhones would show "AT&T M-Cell" and incoming/outgoing/text all worked as you would hope.
All of a sudden (around the time of the iPhone 4.0.1 update) the phones in my office would not connect to the MicroCell. All the appropriate microcell lights are on (3G, GPS, Power and Ethernet). I turned the unit off/on, went to ATT.com/3gmicrocell and tried disconnecting the device and then re-registered it all to no avail.
The only way I can get the phones to utilize the MicroCell is by turning the phone off for a minute then turning it back on (or putting them into airplane mode for a minute and then taking them out again). I have to do this while 2 feet away from the Micro Cell otherwise it just jumps on the tower (which says 5 bars but doesnt work). If I leave the immediate area of the microcell and come back the phone will not connect again.

ATT must have been seeing all these posts. The unit all of a sudden started working for everyone!!! Guessing they pushed a sw update overnight.

All of a sudden my I pad2 stopped working.

I did the reset by Holding the Home/On-Off switch for 10 seconds. After that I get the Apple logo but thats it. No Red Slider button.
Any help would be appriciated.

The Bounding Box is only available, if you click on the name of the fixed Effect>Motion>Scale in the Effects Control Panel. Then, in the Program Monitor, you get the Bounding Box for the Selected Clip.
Now, let's talk about the logos.
One can add those to a Title in Titler, but I like to do them on separate Clips, on separate Video Tracks, as I often animate them separately, and that arrangement allows me total control with Keyframes for Effects, like Motion>Scale, Motion>Position, or perhaps adding the Effect>Gaussian Blur.
A few points on logos.
1.) these are more often AI Vector Art. PrPro will Import AI files, but will have to Rasterize them for Video. I find that PS (Photoshop) does a much better job of the Rasterization. Also, PS does a better job of Scaling, as its algorithms are better, and also allow more choices. For AI Vector Art, I will Place those into an image (I use the New Image Preset to match my Video Project, such as NTSC 720 x 480 Widescreen w/ Guides), and do the Scaling and positioning there (you can still tweak Scale and Position with the Effects Control Panel, back in PrPro, if necessary, but I keep that to a minimum), and then the Rasterization, when I do a Save_As PSD to Import into PrPro.
2.) if you have, say a JPEG, I do the same thing (though no Rasterization is required), with Scale and position in that New Image, and then Save_As PSD.
3.) if you have a PNG to start, I will Scale and position and keep that format, as it is lossless and supports Transparency, like PSD does.
This ARTICLE will give you some tips, if you have larger logos, and need to Scale in PS (I highly recommend doing so).

I can't seem to get the sleep function to work on my iPod. When I click on 60 minutes, nothing happens and the iPod never turns off. Does anyone know how this works?

Besides making sure the hold switch is off etc... has it worked before? If so, did you have it plugged in usb and headphones? Have you changed what is plugged in? If it worked and you changed nothing then try a simple reset first..then go to those 5 R's

My sound jack does not turn red. I tried the toothpick thing, gently plugging in and out my headphones and nothing. Reseted my computer, turned off my computer (left it off for over a day) while I unplugged everything. No sound comes out when I turn it on (no chime at the start), and my on keyboard keys on controlling the sound dont solve the problem. Any ideas and help on this issue?

Here are some things my research turned up:
1 depress home button on one side, place a thin bristled tooth brush underneath if possible and move it around
2 put a tiny drop of alcohol on the edge of the button. Using a rubber push the button and work the alcohol underneath. . Then press home button repeatedly. I wouldnt recommend doing that but if u r desperate...

Did it happen during a sync or did they just disappear? After they were gone, we you able to retrieve them during syncing? Are you using any 3rd party apps to access your contacts or just the built-in Contacts app?
In any case, I've not heard of or expeienced this on my iPhone 3G (synced with Outlook and now Google) or my iPad, although I've only had my iPad for a short time.
