All of a sudden the screen on my iMac 10,1 is too small for the image. Can't figure out how to reduce the size of the Finder or any of the Apps.
All of a sudden the screen is too small for the image. Hard to explain, but in order to see the entire Finder window, I must scroll the image up/down, left/right.
It's not just the Finder though, all of the apps are affected this way too.
It's probably got something to do with the fact that I have an HDMI cable running from the Mac to a Vizio 42" TV. It's been running this way just fine for over two months though.
Any ideas?
You probably accidently zoomed the screen. Hold down CNTL while scrolling down with the mouse or trackpad to unzoom. Cntl - scroll up to zoom.

There's several ways to get access to your documents.
You can email them to yourself from where ever they are presently.
You can use iTunes file sharing to copy the files into the file sharing area of Pages in iTunes.
You can turn on iCloud and go to iCloud.com on your computer to copy files into iCloud which will then copy them to your iPhone.
If you have Pages on your computer you can turn on iCloud on your computer and your iPhone and select those documents to keep synced between the two devices. -
I installed Lion Server on my Mac Pro. Everything looked to be working until I checked Profile Manager and I get an error message "Error Reading Settings" Not sure how to fix it. Tried to download Server agian but can't.
Look at /usr/lib/libpq library. I have had the same problem. There were following files:

You have to transfer old iTunes library to the new computer.
You need 3rd party tool to transfer nano music to computer.

The bookmarks display (when I pull down "bookmarks") is much too wide. I can't figure out how to reduce the display size. The window is not persistent so I can't even get you a screen shot.
Thanks, SaraIt seems there was a change in Firefox 4 where the width of the drop-down is now determined by the length the longest bookmark name in the folder being displayed. Previous versions of Firefox would shorten a long name like that and add an ellipsis to signify the name was truncated.
Sorry, I don't know how to change that other than to advise you to edit the name of that long bookmark name and make it less verbose. Just scroll down the list of bookmarks in that wide folder until you see the culprit, then right-click that bookmark and open Properties & edit the Name line at the top of that dialog. -
The font on my 3gs suddenly went oversize, does not fit the screen, and I can figure out how to reduce the size. It is almost impossible to move around let alone type.

If you have iTunes 11 on your Mac then you can enable the left-hand sidebar via option-command-S, that might make it easier to navigate.
Connect the phone to your Mac and select it on that left-hand sidebar, and on the right-hand side of the screen there should be a series of tabs which you can use to select what to sync to the phone. If it's an audiobook then it should appear on the Books tab for selecting/syncing, and films will be on the Movies tab. When you've got the audiobook on your phone you should get an Audiobooks option in the Music app (you might need to tap the '...' tab at the bottom of the Music app to see it). -
Living in Japan and I'm an American who just signed up with Soft Bank the phone service here and spent a TON of money on an iPhone. I can't figure out how to connect my bank account at home to my app account so I can Skype my family. Please help!!!! I don't have a credit card nor do they gove debit cards to foreigners here, or at least it's really hard so I'm using my bank at home and still have a debit there. My phone number is 8 numbers plus the country code which is strange! Another thing is I was given a phone email that I was told to use for texting but I'm not sure how that works!! It's so frustrating too because no one speaks English here and I'm not very tech savvy. God bless you if you can help :)

Edit > Preferences. Select the check box for Ringtones, this will add them to the listing in iTunes.

How do I move a movie I have synced from iTunes into the "Movies" tab of the Video App? I need to access a slideshow I made in IMovies and may not have WiFi. I did it once, but can't figure out how to do it again! The file is an m4v. Thank you!
Im just guessing but it seems like you would have to get your movie into the correct folder on a computer then use iTunes to sync it to your iPad. If you've synced to a computer and have movies then on your computer should be a folder with the movie in it. You could export your iMovie to something like Dropbox then download from Dropbox to the folder you think it needs to be in the sync your iPad again. Again this is just a guess. Others may have a better answer.

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store alert. For example, if the App Store says you need to update "Twitter," the hacked app may be "Angry Birds" or something else entirely. Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you have to carry out a systematic search.
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:

At least one of the items listed in the search window is not among your purchases in the App Store. Move each such item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator password. Empty the Trash.
Log out and log back in. Test. -
My iphone 5 broke so had to get a sim card and put it in my husbands old iphone 4. i can not figure out how to get my imformation on this his old phone; contacts, apps ect. i have switched my icloud account and apple id on the phone but nothing has changed. please HELP!
You do a restore as new to wipe the iPhone then at the end of restore you will be asked to restore from backup. Choose your iPhone backup.
Note you cannot restore an IOS newer than the IOS on iPhone, you need to update iPhone first. -
I just downloaded the new iOS 5.0 and did all of the backup prompted steps beforehand, but I can't figure out how to get all of my apps and music back on my iPhone. Where did they go and how can I put them back on my iPhone?

This may be related to a new feature embedded in iOS7 that shows all purchased music by default. Go to Settings > Music, then turn off Show All Music. See if the issue ceases once the feature has been disabled. This information is located on page 63 of the user guide below.

Just bought Photoshop Elements 13...I'm trying to make a slideshow but can't figure out how to alter duration time that the slide is on the screen. They presently move from one to another way too quickly...also need a different pan and zoom option. Where are all the options I had in PS10? Also...Can I burn this to a DVD?
The changes have brought improvements but also drawbacks compared with the old slideshow editor.
The templates are now fairly fixed but I find the “Classic Dark” gives reasonable results with some panning and you can click the audio button and browse you PC for any track. Unfortunately there are only three speed choices linked to the music track. The improvement for most people is that you can now export to your hard drive at 720p or 1080p and upload to sites like YouTube and Vimeo. -
When I open Safari, I always type command-plus to enlarge the view. However, I can't figure out how to permanently set the Safari screen to this view setting in the preferences. Any ideas?
Sorry, but you must Command + for every page. It's not permanent.
