All of a sudden there is no audio being sent to encore from my Premiere CS6. The video appears in encore but no audio. The audio plays fine in premiere. All settings look the same as the way I've been using it for years.

I assume you are dynamic linking. As a test, export a short section from PR as MPEG2-DVD, then import those files to Encore "as timeline" (be sure to pick both the m2v and the wav).
Audio now?

try deleting and readding your yahoo accounts. Yahoo has been upgrading their servers for months now, and have been effecting users' accounts as they do so. I have two yahoo accounts and have had each of them mess up for a day or two before they start working again.
Chances are the issue is on yahoo's end. When mine messed up I simply accessed the mail via the web and safari until it cleared up.

My iWork (pages and keynote) are not communicating with the iCloud. I haven't changed anything and all of the sudden there is no sync happening. My iCloud account is fine as i can create documents on my iPad and they appear on iCloud.

However, when i change documents on my mac (documents that are supposed to be in the iCloud), the changes do not sync with my other devices nor with iCloud. Even when i create new documents on my mac and save them to iCloud, all seems okay and i can access them from my mac, however they do not show up in the iCloud and i can't access them with my other devices.
Most recent version of mountain lion updated over a month ago. New iPad in use for over a month.

Hmm, that is strange that your phone number is greyed out. There are a few things that we can try. First would be to turn iMessages off, then back on. See if you are able to select your phone number. Then if that doesn't work, turn iMessages back off, then reset the network settings....settings>general>reset>reset network settings, this will reboot the phone. Don't worry, it won't delete anything from the phone, it simulates a battery pull. Once the device comes back on, then turn iMessages back on. Keep us posted if that works!

I finally resolved my problem after spending way too much time on it. I simply handed my 160GB iPod to my husband to put his fav Stones & Beatles songs on and I went back to my 80GB Microsoft Zune which has never disappointed me.
After spending so much time trying to figure this out I did finally take it back to Apple Store who performed a diagnostic and found there was a problem with the device. They replaced it with a refurbished one which has similar issues. All I wanted to do was listen to my music. Was that too much to ask? So I am happy to be free of this problematic device. No more Apple for me!!

I posted this almost a month ago, I'm surpirsed noone else had had this issue...
I don't sync that often (yeah, I know, crusify me), but tonight I went to synchronise again and I got a different photo that wont come over....
In addition to the above:
- the photos are taken with the same camera, on the same date and time as other photos around it...
So "why is it now no longer compatible with iphone4?"????
If I unsync a photo, it just gives me a new photo it can't sync.
Can anyone tell me how to find ALL the photos it can't sync? This is a serious deficiency of iphoto/itunes/sync with iphone...

A small update to this issue....
I have been trawling the forums to find an answer but to no avail...
And... I've tried exporting and bouncing individual stems and the full session, either by muting all bar the stem or soloing the stem.....and still nothing.
Same problems.....everything is audible in audition but nothing plays on playback.
Since the 'prelisten' channel strip is Solo safe this would indicate that you have a track or channel strip soloed somewhere else, out of sight. Are the Mute buttons on your channel strips blinking?
To view all objects in your mixer, click the button. You may have to scroll sideways to check the whole mixer.

And You've not moved or emptied any folder on Your Hard Disk named
• iMovie Event's - or -
• iMovie Project's
Or - disconnected any external hard disk/s
As one CAN NOT move the Event's or Project's on / via DeskTop/Finder - AS iMovie then loses the connection to them. Moving them - MUST BE DONE - within iMovie application - to work OK.
So if You by meaning or accident moved it/them - Move them back - and iMovie might work again.
ELSE - If You are 100% sure that You didn't move them then
• Trash iMovie Pref and Cache files
• Run Repair Permissions - Disk Util tool
• Run Repair Hard Disk - Disk Util tool - BUT YOU MUST Start-Up Your Mac from DVD or External HD to do this
and may be all will work OK again

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from your ipod. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases

In Adobe Prem Pro, I'm finishing a short film. All, of a sudden I am bringing over one last clip, and I can't get an audio track. So, if I select a clip and drag it over, only the video shows up. What did I do? How can I fix it?

My guess is that you accidentally clicked off the highlighted "A1" in the image below.
If neither A1 or V1 is in those boxes you can drag and drop. If you do that, the A1 and V1 will show up. However, if only one of them is there, then you will only be able to drop the video or the audio depending on which one is there.
Make sure that yours look like mine. If necessary, reset your workspace.

I have the Sound Blaster 2 ZS for PC.
So i was playing counter strike source and using my mic.(not the first time i've used the mic) And then after the server changed ma
ps.
I all of a sudden started hearing echo's when other people used their mics. I then noticed all the sounds had echos(reloading,walking, jumping ect).
So i restarted my computer. I then noticed ALL the sounds on my computer had echos. I tried checking the settings but im not that bright as to know what sync and the equalizer does. So I click default on all of the settings. And restarted my computer again.
It didnt work. So i then go to programs>creative>restore dafaults
When i click that it says There were some errors and not all of the settings were defaulted.

Look at your Effects tab in the EAX Console. Try to change to a specific enviroment and then disable again. This should reset whatever preset has stayed in the computers memory.

Skipping audio when sent to encore

when i send my project from premeiere all of the sudden it about 15 mins into the video it skips audio over and over please help!!!!

Well, it does not matter how footage was imported into Premiere or what codec was used for audio. The problem is not a big one but it is exists even on SD projects imported from Premiere via dynamic link. When Premiere sequence via Dynamic link is sent to Encore it imports the sequence and conforms the audio separately. But I think it is a glitch, and I have reported that, but there was no fix for CS4, and I hope it will be taken care in CS5.
Here is what happens.
As soon as PPro project is shown in project pallet in Encore select it, and turn on Progress panel, from Window drop down menu, because by default it is off. And you will see Yellow line showing that audio is being conformed. So if you clicked the Build button before the Yellow line is finished, Encore will take the audio at that point of time and stretch it all the way to the end of the file, and it will build a disk, so that's why it will have the skipping effect described in first post.
After Audio is being transcoded you cant do anything about it until, in the project window you Right click on the asset (asset is being a Premiere sequence) and select transcode setting Revert to original. Encore at that point will start conforming process again and you if wait till it finished it should be just fine after Encore finiches yor disk or folder.
It is inconvenient but that's how you work around it.

Audio not transferring to Encore from Premiere Pro CS6

I'm trying to export a sequence through the Adobe Dynamic Link from Premiere Pro CS6 to Encore and the audio is not transferring with video. The video is 30 minutes long with multiple video and audio tracks. The video came through fine, but no audio track. However, I also brought a timeline into the project that was less than 3 minutes and the audio track came with it. Any suggestions/help much appreciated! Thank you!

Yes--that is correct. Audio track in Premiere but no audio track present in Encore. I believe the audio format in Premiere is Stereo. It is HD footage shot on a C-100 camera. The sound was recorded into the camera and all brought in together. I did end up doing the work around that was suggested and just exported an MPEG2-DVD and pulled the audio in manually. But, would love to try to figure out how to make it work directly using Adobe Dynamic Link. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
