All of a sudden when I go to Bridge base using firefox, it says connection is lost. This just started and I can still access bridge base using internet explorer. Firefox no longer allows the connection. Why?

I have been using firefox to access bridgebase.com but all of a sudden as soon as I log in to that website, it says the connection is lost. It doesn't do that on my laptop, only on this desktop. Can you help?

The past few days I find my IOS devices don't show up in "My Computer" and they don't show up in iTunes. All other USB devices work well. I am using Windows Vista. It's really great that you're taking the time to help me. I did several of the tests you recommend over the last two or three days. It always shows that the iPod/iPhone/iPad isn't present. Here's more. I got a Norton tech to help me yesterday and it isn't the anti-virus, as we uninstalled everything and it still didn't work. I went deeper into the system through the control panel, and found the device detected on the appropriate USB port, but it won't show up in "My Computer". Two of the three devices show up on another PC, (I didn't test the third) so I'm leaning to something in iTunes because every other USB device I plug into the Vista ports shows up quickly and works perfectly (thumb drives, wireless mouse, camera, etc). I already unistalled all Apple software and downloaded new, but the problem still exists. I have restarted, unplugged, you name it and the devices aren't showing up. I can't wirelessly sync either because one has to set that up through iTunes prior to doing it.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Then back it up and do a restore. If that does not work and if you are still under warranty, call Apple tech support or take the iPod to your local Apple Store or an AASP.

Why do I keep getting message that not connected to Internet when trying to access amazon yet am very obviously am still connected as can access the apple site or banking sites. Have tried resetting.

I have tried everything I could to fix this, but some things require actually being on Firefox, and since I cannot get on, I cannot click on the tabs to do it. I have even totally uninstalled firefox, and that has not fixed this. I still get the same message that firefox is running and I need to close it or restart (which I have also tried dozens of times). I have removed things like Java, and that has not helped either. If I cannot even get on line in firefox, how can I fix this. I am not crazy about using internet explorer, but right now, it is my only option. I even tried to start in safe mode, and the same message box pops up!

When you say you get an error message running the MacOS x installer disc, is it when you boot on the CD or when you insert the disc in your SuperDrive during an open session? Have you tried booting from the CD and running the Apple Hardware Test? From your list of trouble, it looks like a bad RAM, or maybe a corrup hard drive sector, but it could be something else entirely. Next time you boot, try verbose (press Command-V right after the gong), you'll see every step of boot on screen, it'll give some indication as to what makes your MBP hang up. You can also try to run AppleJack in Single-User mode (first install AppleJack ; download from here : http://applejack.sourceforge.net/ ; install as admin is required ; boot in SU by pressing Command-S at the gong): it's done wonders on my machine more than once...
"Oh, one more thing"... Is there anything connected to your MBP via USB/Firewire/Bluetooth? If so, try and unplug/disconnect everything, then boot up, just so we can rule a bad driver out.

I am having trouible with Pogo/Java. I was able to play games but now it says I have a problem. I can use Internet Explorer but it is so slow. Why can't I use Firefox anymore.

This has been fixed in Firefox 3.6.15, use the "Check for updates" option in the Help menu to install it.

go to the appstore and make sure that there are no new updates for Drawsomething.
If that is fine, double tap the home button and remove every app you see in that area. (hold your finger on the recent apps area that just came up and then remove every app from that area.
Now try to go to DrawSomething.
If that didn't do it:
Now go to where you have draw something and remove it from your ipad (hold down the icon until it all of them start to wiggle and hit the X on Draw something.
Now go back to the App Store and redownload draw something.
See if that doesn't help.

As long as you use your computer like King Penguin stated for Report a Problem, you should be fine. If you can't get to your computer, are not using your computer, or your computer is not longer in the mix since you have been using your iPad, email iTunes support about the problem.

When printing from my Mac all of a sudden when printing from IPhoto the picture is really dark. The test page off my HP color laser jet is just fine. It is not the printer although older. All of sudden it does not want to print correctly.

All of a sudden when printing from my desktop Mac in IPhoto the printout comes out black. My colors are fine on my HP color laser printer. I have printed many times and now all of a sudden it is not printing. A test copy from my printer comes out fine. I really think for some reason something has changed just in the last few days. Just communication with IPhoto and the computer.

As long as your cartriges are full, put a photo on you desktop, highlight it , click COMMAND P and the print preferences window should drop down, and select your printer and photo paper.
