All of my contacts are not showing up

Once I updated my phone to to iCloud, now all of my contacts are not showing up in my contact list but if I type in the number, they show up. How do I fix this?

I also have this problem, just from the iPhone 5s which makes my life crazy, too.
The problem of having multiple devices doesn't seem to help, but the odd part is when everything I am doing is correct, it still doesn't sync like it used to do before iCloud, and when we had to USB wire connect the iPhone to the Laptop to make contacts sync.
Might I add that I am not using MAIL on my LAPTOP?
but ?Britty sounds like her issue is easier as gmail sometimes can create duplicates so you are in good if you are not having that problem or nightmare...

as there seems to be a TRENDING on iPhone 5s not syncing with other devices or backwards.....(I have added contacts to the iPhone 5s and they never get added to the iCloud or the iPad or the Addressbook or CONTACTS on the LAPTOP....
This should be working and I have checked the CONTACTS on the laptop GROUPS , iCloud, vs ALL ON MY MAC
it just isn't syncing and in some cases I am getting a WEB DAV error or CAL error...-1

Did you sync your contacts with iCloud on your old phone by turning on contacts in Settings>iCloud? If so, are you contacts on icloud.com when you check using your computer?

This is a HUGE iOS bug.. Following a tip from another poster, I was able to fix the issue (temporarily).
This worked for me on Verizon.
I dialed *228 on my Verizon phone. I pressed "1" to activate it over the air. I then went into task manager and killed all the running apps.. Waited a few minutes.
The next text I got displayed the number correctly!.. Until I rebooted, that is.
PLEASE, call Apple and speak with a senior engineer on this. They can't fix it if they don't know it's a problem! (800) MY-IPHONE

My contacts are not showing up on the PC app or the web interface. Message+ works fine on my Note 4 though. My contacts are saved in my Google account.
I've tried several things but message+ acts like there are no contacts in the app yet there are names and pictures in my conversations. Can anyone help me?

Let's make sure that we get you up and running with no issues. I want to make sure that we are on the same page. Are your contacts actually listed in the address book on your phone? Are you using Verizon Messages? Or the third party Messages from the Play Store? Please keep us posted.

All of my contacts do not show up in the Icloud. The contacts that do show up only show the phone number.
I would think that all of the contct information would show up.
What am I doing wrong?

Open your contacts and tap Groups. Here, check to see if any of your contacts belong to non-iCloud groups such as On My iPhone, Google, Yahoo, and Exchange account or something else.
Also, check to see if the contacts that only show the phone number belong to a particular account or group.

In iOS 7.0.2 All and Missed tabs are not showing call history correctly, I have iPhone 4 running iOS 7.0.2 version it looks like there is a bug. Missed call history and All calls (incoming, outgoing and missed) history is not showing properly in a list. Ideally when I click on missed it should show me recent missed call list and when I click on All it should show me (incoming, outgoing and missed) calls list sorted by current date and time.
I would like to request Apple developer team to look into this and fix this bug asap. Thanks in advance.

Apps needing access to Contacts are not showing in the Privacy pane of security

I have apps like cobook and Alfred that need access to Contacts but they are not showing in the Privacy pane of the Security & Privacy System Preferences.

Back up all data.
Triple-click the line below to select it:

Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with an item selected. Move the selected item to the Desktop, leaving the window open. Log out, log back in, and test. All your privacy settings will be reset to their defaults. If there's no change, put the item you moved back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place, and log out again. Otherwise, delete the item you moved.

I just bought an Android tablet today and added the Skype App to it. I can log in just fine but for some reason several of my contacts are missing. They are in my contacts on my computer but all but five of them are missing from my Android including my daughter. Help! I have no idea which version of the Skype App I am using because I can not figure out how to look that up. I assume it is the most recent version since I just downloaded it today.

You can't see them in what 'music file' ? If you mean your computer's iTunes library then have you copied all of it from your old computer : iTunes: How to move your music to a new computer, or copied it from your backup of your library ?
You might be able to redownload your iTunes music purchases (depending upon what country that you are in and if it is still available in your country's store) via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page. i have just bought I phone 4 S. ilove the phone. i am using smart phone for the very first time. i got my contacts from my Nokia 6500 to my i phone. Now the thing is i want to make groups in my i phone. by in contact all my contacts are showing in:
1- all contacts
2- Icloud contacts.
how do i add from all contacts or icloud contacts in the groups that i made like Family, Friends and others.
i would like my phone to ring diffrent when some one from diffrtent group call or i want to send SMS to certain group.

All my BBM contacts are not receiving my broadcast messages

is there a message limit on the torch , i have 1500 contacts and alot of my contacs say tthey are not receiving the broadcast

In the past the limit was 1,000 contacts, and that was increased when BBM was upgraded to v 5.0.0.57, however that relates to the number of contacts in the Messenger.
I have a feeling that you sending 1500 broadcast messages is too many at one time. If I were you, I'd create contact Groups A, B, C, etc., maybe 500 in each and send less at a one time.

All of table results are not showing in universe

Hello, I have a table that I created via a SQL view. I then insert this view/table in a universe. Then when I export the universe some of the fields are not there. I went back to the designer and the fields are listed on the right side pane, but not in the list on the left side pane.
Any ideas why it would drop fields at random?

All of my images are not showing to upload from Canon 5D to my MacBook Pro

This is driving me absolutely insane.... I uploaded 250 photos from my Canon 5D but I was having issues with them so I deleted them from my Mac and from Lightroom as well. I went to upload them back onto my Mac and it's showing a different amount of photos each time I try to connect the camera. It has shown 80, then 120 and sometimes it shows 25... I have no idea why Lightroom doesn't want to show all of the pics on my Canon 5D to import... PLEASE help.. one solution I'm thinking of is to connect my external HD to my wife's laptop with Windows XP and import them onto the external hard drive then connect the HD to my Mac and import them that way.. any ideas, thoughts suggestion or solutions would be greatly appreciated.. this seems so elementary to be happening with two such high caliber technologies.. Mac and Adobe.. please HELP!

I have iCloud on but my contacts are not showing up on my mac, only iphone

All I want to do is sync my contacts on my iphone to my mac and I can't do it. It appears to be the Maverick thing that jazzed this up but I don't understand why I can't see the contacts now with icloud?

Your problem is being caused by the fact the iCloud only syncs contacts that belong to the iCloud account. It will not sync contacts from external account such as your exchange account. To sync them with iCloud, you will have to copy the contacts to your iCloud account, then disable contacts syncing with your exchange account (to avoid seeing duplicate contacts on your phone). I can give you the steps to do this if that's what you want to do. (You can't, however, get your FB contacts in iCloud.)
