All of my ports are invisible

Hi, I'm using a Linksys WRT300N v1.1 router and all of my ports seem to be invisible. I've tried port forwarding, but my results ended in failure. Is there anything that I can do to make these ports visible? I'm hosting a web server, but I can't seem to get the ports open. Help would be much appreciated.

Try upgrading the firmware on router...also make sure for the N-router Radio Band should be 20-MHZ frequency & Standard Channel as 11 & also do the wireless settings as per requirement & advanved wireless settings as BI=50,FRAG THRES=2306,RTS THRES=2307 & also BLOCK ANONYMOUS INTERNET REQUESTS.

If connected directly to the TV, then audio is being sent to the TV speakers, not the receiver.

  • All common ports are closed?

    Hey,
I have BT Infinity, my software version is Software version V100R001C01B031SP12_L_B (Not too sure if that means anything)
Anyway, all my common ports are closed, this being ports like 25, 80, 110, 933, 586, 465.
This means that none of my email clients are working, why are they all closed? I'm sure that atleat the email ports should be open by default?
How can I fix this? Thanks

I assume that you can login to Yahoo webmail?
If you can, then it has to be something wrong with your server settings.
Take a look at these settings for Thunderbird, and see if yours match.

  • Trouble writing to all three digital ports

I am controlling three motors with 24 digital lines, 8 for each. The code is attached. Two of the motors will run but the third always crashes (vibrates and trips). When I swap the ports on the three port configurations I can get ANY two motors to run smoothly, but never the third. The problem seems to be isolated to the bottom (see attached code) port configuration and write. I have deleted and reinserted fresh vi's, but no luck.
I am running a LabPC 1200 board and have tried this with the same error on a LabPC+.
Is there a better way to write bytes of data to ports?
    Thanks a lot!!!

Thanks for contacting National Instruments. After taking a look at your code, I can see that there are a couple of issues here.
The first is that you are configuring the ports during every iteration of the loop. You should move the port config VIs out of the loop. Having them inside is bad because you really only need to configure the ports once, before you start writing to them. Doing this every iteration adds a lot of overhead, and it also amplifies the effects of the second problem.
The second problem is that your boards are resetting all the ports every time you configure any port. All National Instruments products that have an 8255 or 82C55 digital chip, including the Lab-PC, will exhibit this behavior. When you change the configuration
of one digital port on an 8255, the digital lines on ALL of the ports are reset. This is the way the 8255 chip works. The 8255 consists of three ports, each containing 8 digital lines (24 total). To properly use the chip, all configuring needs to be done prior to setting the output states of the lines.
For more information on this issue, see the linked KnowledgeBase:
    http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/3E25A9780F2C48B986256120005AF098?OpenDocument
So you can see that moving the config VIs outside of the loop should address both problems. This should do it, but if it doesnt, please let me know.

  • Apps are invisible

When I go to the app tab, all of my apps are invisible.   They are really there as I can tap the screen and it will select the app and show it, but then when I select the purchases arrow to go back I am presented a blank screen again.

its an apple issue , there's lots of threads already about it

OK....First,you are right, OS 5 has the 11 page limit....you must create folders of Apps until you get below 11 pages of combined folders and apps...NOTE.....the upgrade to OS 5 killed all of my old folders and folder organizations...this may be an issue for all????.....I have over 300 apps so when the old folders went away...I was left with 20 plus pages....only 11 visible....It took me awhile to find out what happened....Since I have 64G it seems that 11 visible pages is a silly limit since the apps are on the machine...

  • After a backup all music files are invisible and iTunes don't see anything

    Hi,
I got a very strange problem and I'm really lost.
I made a backup of my portable iTunes libray (using a 160 GB Maxtor one touch 4 mini usb) on another backup disk (750 GB Maxtor onetouch III firwire 800). I have my library on a external disk to safe disk space on my MacBook Pro disk. For the back up I use the software Personal Backu4 of Intego Software. The 160GB iTunes disk is Formatted als Mac OS Extended format.
Now all back up data that aren't music files (AAC or MP3 files) was correctly back up, but all music files was like deleted, all artist > album folders looks empty. But, cheking with the disk utility it looks that all files exist and the Used space (36.06 GB) looks correctly and the numbers of files too (some 5942 files). But all files are invisible, folders looks empty. Now is looks that all purchased and CD imported int my library didn't exist anymore: and this in BOTH disks, side by side is the same situation.
How I can come out from this situation, I really don't have any idea how to coming out fron this sad situation.
Hany help is really appreciated. Thanks in advance!

OK, here's what REALLY doesn't make sense.
After manually fixing a lost file, NOTHING in the XML changes. Not one single character changes in the XML file. I diff'd the whole file before and after - no difference. So, basically, it goes out and 'finds' it and updates something that we can't see to repair the connection, meanwhile we are left to think that this XML file has the library data in it.
Mind you, the media file(s) are present and accounted for in the file system - correct name and path and everything - before and after I go Locate the file when iTunes complains about it being missing..
iTunes is so overbloated, we can't even fix stuff when we see precisely how it is broken.

  • Issues with processing messages on one receive port causes problems on all the receive ports that are on the same handler

    Greetings,
An integrator installed biztalk in our environment to process the hl7 message flow between their source application(s) and several receiving applications. We've had problems with this set-up for a while now because some receiving applications sometimes have
problems processing the messages. Be it either because there's problems with the server that processes the messages of a certain port or because there's problems with the software/daemon/service that needs to process these messages.
The main problem with this, is that the receiving end of this isn't under our control nor under control of the integrator, but when one receive port isn't processing their messages for a while it causes a problem with all the receive ports that are on the
same handler. So other receive ports start noticing a slow-down of their incoming messages until after a while nothing gets through anymore.
What is the best practice to prevent these kind of problems? Should we just create a handler for every receive port? Because that seems a bit overkill.
    Thanks in advance.

What do you mean exactly with this question?
"Can you provide some more detail like BizTalk the receiver? "
The adapters are mainly file and MLLP, the MLLP adapters are already seperated from the file adapters (a handler for MLLP and a handler for file).
The problem with all the receive ports is that when one receive port isn't processing its messages (usually caused by the software processing the messages) the other receive ports on the same handler receive their messages/files a lot slower. If for any
reason the problem isn't fixed soon, the other receive ports on the same handler actually stop receiving any messages at all.
Isolating the receive port that causes the problems like la Cour suggested can work, but next time it might be another port that experiences this issue. So we are looking for a way to make sure the whole message flow isn't hindered by one port (whichever
port) that can't process its messages. Or rather by one receiving software that can't process its messages.

  • K7N2G-ILSR: Firewire and all but 2 usb ports are gone.

I have the MSI K7N2G-ILSR motherboard. When I first got it I noticed in my bios I had the option to enable/disable my IEEE 1394 ports. After having problems with my video card I updated my bios to v1.7 and since then I've lost that option all together and have noticed that only 2 of my USB ports work and the firewire ports are not detected.
Is this a known bug? I'm going to try and roll the bios back to v1.4 and see if that restores them. If that doesn't work any suggestions?
Also on occation my USB ports will fail to be started by windows and/or linux.

  • Installed arch64, all ports are closed?

I installed arch64 a few days ago, and today while trying the bittorrent client transmission, i realized that all the ports are closed. I installed 32bit arch numerous times before and I remember being able to use torrents right away. Its not a problem with just transmission, it does it with every other torrent client too. Anyone know what the problem could be?

wankel wrote:This is really weird, should I just try to reinstall arch?
    Naa... Not yet.
Maybe transmission has different ports set for torrent traffic, so you could try changing the (Arch) ports to the ones Windows uses.
EDIT: In transmission preferences, you can check whether the port is open and listening.

  • All USB ports are no longer 2.0

I have been struggling recently with the USB ports on my Intel Mac Mini, circa 2007, OSX 10.5.8. Everything I plug into any of the 4 USB ports in the back will come up as a 12 Mbps port, not a high speed 2.0 port. I don't know how to diagnose the issue here. Seems like they use to work but at some mysterious point I noticed issues.
HW View shows 4 USB Buses, corresponding to all 4 ports. Anything I plug in shows up as 12Mbps. There is a mysterious 5th USB bus labelled 'USB High Speed Bus', but nothing seems to attach to it... I figured all the ports were high speed???
Confused... any idea what to do to get these ports back into '2.0' mode?
    Derek

Frequently multiple ports share the same bus.
If you plug in one slow device into any port, all the other ports that share that same bus will be that slow. The only way around it, is to use a high speed hub with known high speed devices hooked up to the hub and that hub connected to your Mac. Then you can discover which of the ports is definitely on the high speed bus. Once you've done that, only connect low speed devices to known low speed ports.

  • Not all ports are stealthed

I ran the onlin Shields Up! port scan, and it found three ports that aren't fully stealthed: 20, 21 (the ftp ports), and 500 (the vpn port).
I'm not running any internet services like ftp and am not using a vpn. My osx firewall is on, set to stealth mode. The two exceptions I have set up for the software firewall are for ports above 50,000. The hardware firewall in my dsl router is also turned on. The only port forwarding is for those that I have have the software exceptions.
I've tried turning passive ftp on and off and it doesn't make a difference.
    Any thoughts?

OK, I see your point now.
Still no idea why I get a different reading every time on Shields Up, (possibly my slow Dial-up), whereas this one always has a consistent report...
    http://www.pcflank.com/scanner_s1.htm
    ShieldsUp...
ShieldsUp 3 minutes later with nothing changed...
Anyway, no settings I change in Sharing on the Mac affect these reports, it would appear that the Router is the one answering, not the Mac unless Ports are Forwarded.
