All of my schedule is missing from the calendar app. Why and how do I fix it?
I only noticed at the beginning of this week, but my entire calendar is empty. I didn't have it separated into different parts or anything else special. It is now just an empty blank and it won't allow me to input any new data. I have had everything re-synced, un-synced and re-synced, each time completely exiting the app. I have also turned it off and turned it back on. What else could be done to fix this problem?
Try this: In the Calendar app, tap Calendars at bottom center. Make sure "Show all calendars" is checked.

Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

I would delete the e-mail account from your iPad's Mail Account List, Lock & Unlock your iPad by pressing power button to refresh system, than re-add the Mail Account with the correct POP3 + SMTP settings..

Recently, when I create a new album (untitled), it immediately fills it immediately fills with picture either from the album above it or, if I have a Faces collection open, with the pictures from that collection. Why and how do I fix it?
When a new album is created it will fill with whatever is in the right hand window, If you're in the Events or Photos mode it will contain all photos in the library. Yes, strange behavior.

My iPad quits when I'm browsing in the apple store, why and how can I fix it!
Whenever I'm browsing the iTunes store, iTunes quits. Also if I'm watching Amazon instant video, the show will stop every 5-8 minutes and I have to restart it! Frustrating to say the least! I know it's an older iPad but everything else seems to wok ok. Suggestions are welcomed. BTW, I already resett the whole iPad and redownloaded all it's content!
Hi. I'm using WiFi. Have no other programs running and no other computers/phone/gadgets connected to it. The iPad doesn't crash, just the app (either iTunes or amazon instant video stop running). That does not happen when I use the MacBook. I have deleted both and reinstalled both. I have also reset the iPad to original factory settings and I have held down both, the home and off button together until the apple appears!! Nothing works!! BTW, the APP store app also closes all the time and thinking about so does iBooks and the Kindle app!!

I listen to my iPod Classic at work and it kept cutting off today out of nowhere and this hasn't happened before. I have it in my pocket so I have the HOLD button in the lock position so the wheel won't get pressed while in my pocket. I figured it died on me but I had just charged it last night so I took it out and unlocked the HOLD button. Well, the music immediately came back on. It happened a few more times and i figured maybe it was the song or something so I changed albums and it kept happening. Every time it would cut off, I'd unlock the HOLD button and it'd come back on every time, almost like it was paused or something. Has anyone experienced this? if so, how do I fix it? I really don't want to buy a new iPod since I have little money because of school, bills, and photography/film equipment. Help? thanks.
I'm having a hard time finding an answer to this too. This is what is going on. Sometimes the iPod (iPod Classic 160GB) does not "like" the songs I've downloaded from cds. Sometimes it does. I think it always plays whatever songs I've purchased on iTunes though. The other day I synced it to add two new cds and somehow the iPod was wiped clean--no songs, no pictures, nothing. I did a reset and the songs came back but now these problems:
1. The song will play for a few seconds then it either skips to the next song.
2. The song won't play, just skips to the next song.
3. Everything just stops, the iPod is still 'on' but won't play anything.
4. Right now it's playing an Aimee Mann album that I downloaded but it wouldn't play the Joni Mitchell album just before. Is the iPod making a comment on my taste in music?
Flipping the lock back and forth helps sometimes, but not always.
I bought this device less than two years ago; I really hope it's not permanently messed up. Should I just go to the Apple Store (please I beg of you, don't make me!) and throw myself at their mercy?
Help!! My iPod is the only thing that gets me through the day in this office. -

Tried to transfer all my data to iPhone 5 from iPhone 3GS lost ONLY my email and app data? But weird thing is, its still on my old phone!!!
Do you know why and how I can fix this?
ShelleyHow did you "try" to transfer this data? The only way to restore App data is by restoring from a backup that contains the App data, then syncing the Apps back to the phone. Emails are not included in any iPhone backup, only account settings.

This is standard guidance, but maybe it will help...
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove your Yahoo cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
This will open a dialog where you can remove the individual cookies.
Then try reloading the page and logging in again. Does it work any better? -

In Contacts, I don't have any duplicates, but in iMessage contacts on iMac in Mountain Lion, the contacts it provides for a new message are all doubles. Why and how can I fix?
I also notice that each contact says iCloud in it twice, but when I go to iCloud.com, there are no duplicates either. Help..mdd770,
Try Contacts>Preferences...>Accounts...remove {-}/re-add {+}your iCloud account.
If that is not successful, follow the steps listed in iCloud: Troubleshooting iCloud Contacts. -

I have added more songs to my library. Half of the library has selected ticks but when I click on any of the others to select them, the whole song disappears from the list. Why and what can I do to fix?

If I understand correctly, it sounds like iTunes is not grouping the songs from a particular CD together. The cause could be something as minor as a misspelling or slight variations. For more information, see the following resource:

I use to administrate my DSL modem via an ip-address. When I enter it into FF8 I am asked where to save the file. Why and how can I prevent FF8 from doing that?
And now anytime I am entering an ip-address I am asked if I want to download the file.It happens when the modem server doesn't send the file as text/html, but with another MIME type.<br />
I tried the index.html addition in case the server might send that file as text/html.<br />
If your DSL modem has a support website then you can try to ask there for advice about how to configure the modem server. -

You can change the settings in Security & Privacy to "Anywhere"...
That should work... as to whether the printer driver will work, that's another question.
