All of my songs in itunes keep jumping
Hi
All my songs in itunes keep jumping - I have no idea why this is and also have no idea how to remedy this problem if anyone can help I would be very very greatful x
This topic is covered several times a day. First off, you need to develop a back-up strategy so this doesnt happen to you again. Relying on your iPod or computer is not smart. Next time, Burn your library onto a Data DVD or CD, or invest in an external hard drive. THey have come down in price a lot.
Anyway, you can download a third party program, such as YamiPod or CopyPod, both free, that will allow you to rip your iPod onto your iTunes. There is also another way, but is a bit more involved. Here is the article: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=300173

I tried to sync the music on my PC with my old iPhone, but all of my songs on iTunes were deleted, How do I get them back? When I go to the iTunes store and look at the songs I hade before, it says I already purchased them, but when I go back to my library, they are all gone. I thought it was just removing the songs from my phone, but now I have no music on my phone or PC. Please help!
The sync is one way - computer to iphone.
You need to copy everything from your old computer to your new one. -
Lost All of My Songs in iTunes but NOT in my iPod
My computer crashed recently and I had to re-install Windows. I wound up losing all of my songs in iTunes but I still have them on my iPod. (I have not connected my iPod to the computer as of yet.) Is there a way to get the songs back from iTunes or to upload from the iPod to iTunes? Thanks, Terry

Not all of my songs from itunes are appearing in garageband.
Not all of my songs from itunes are appearing in garageband. I want to make a ringtone with a certain song but its not there. How do I get it to be there?
Is it a song you have purchased? Maybe your song is protected by digital right management? Then it will not show up in GarageBand. Have a look in the Information panel if the kind of the song is "Protected".

THANK YOU !!go don't connect your ipod until you go into itunes
and make sure to set it up to where it won't
automatically sync up the ipod with your itunes
library, as it WILL delete your music
if you want to transfer that music back onto your
system, go to google, do a search for "need to
transfer music from my ipod to my computer"
but how do i go into itunes and set it to where it wont automatically sync my ipod eith my library -
My macbook pro is already authorized, but a purchased song from iTunes keeps stating that my computer is not authorized to play it. I enter my apple ID and password, upon which a window confirms that my computer is already authorized. Yet the song still won't play and continues to state that my computer is not authorized.
If you live in a country in which you are allowed to re-download purchased music delete the track from the library and the HDD and re-download it.

I have just bought a new macbook and trying to add all my music to my new itunes from a previous version of itunes (iTunes 9) in my seven year old Mac. I can import all the MP3 songs but iTunes ignores all the m4a format files. What to do? I have copied them into the music file along with the mp3 files but they still dont open in iTunes.
From your OLD computer...
Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

is there anyway i can get all my downloaded songs from itunes onto my ipad?
If you cannot powerup the phone, there would be no way to recover the photos from the device. Have you tried to just connect it to the computer? If the photos are that important, have you considered possibly a 3rd party repair to just fix the screen so you can access the device, or was there more broken than the screen?

I don't understand why, but I no longer have any songs on my ipad on iTunes... I'm devastated because that is a lot of money I have lost :( please help!!!
You haven't lost them, you can download them all again without having to pay for them again. It might be a pain in the butt to have to do it, but you will get them back. The forts thing that I would do is to reset the iPad and see if the songs come back.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If they don't come back, go to the purchase tab of the iTunes Store and tap on the Music tab at the top. Them tap on Not on this iPad. You will be able to download all of the songs by tapping on the close icon next to the song. -

I have tried constantly to download 4 songs from itunes onto my iphone4 and it keeps on saying that they can't be downloaded at this time. What do I do?
You have posted to the iTunes for Mac forum. Logic Pro X is an OS X application. You will get better support responses by posting your question to the Using Mac App Store forum.

I have lost all of my songs on itunes but there still on my ipod?
okayy..i dont know wat happened . I was on my computer earlier today listening to podcasts and a cd my friend gave me. Then my mum wanted onto my computer so i unplugged it(its a laptop by the way) and gave it to her...it ran out of battery and when i switched itunes back on all of my music had disappeared. Was this anything to do with the battery running out?
I clicked on transfer files when i plugged my iPod back in and since i have only bought 2 songs from itunes. Only two songs came up in my library. Now i still have 700 or something songs on my iPod nano(first edition) but only 2 songs on my iTunes.
Does anybody know how i can get the songs from my iPod onto my iTunes??
because its really bugging me
please help
if you want to reply to me by email..reply to [email protected]
thanksThe transfer of content from other sources such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. Have a look at the web pages and documentation, this is just a small selection of what's available, they are generally quite straightforward. You can read reviews of some of them here: Wired News - Rescue Your Stranded Tunes
TuneJack Windows Only
iPod2PC Windows Only
iGadget Windows Only
iDump Windows Only
SharePod Windows Only
iRepo Mac and Windows
iPodRip Mac & Windows
YamiPod Mac and Windows
Music Rescue Mac & Windows
iPodCopy Mac and Windows
There is also a manual method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows or a Mac. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available at this link: Two-way Street: Moving Music Off the iPod
I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay.
