All of the data on my iPhone has turned to "Other."
I have music, documents, apps on my phone but it is all considered yellow "Other." This just happened today after ejecting and syncing after restoring from backup. It seemed like the apps went first, and the the music, and then everything else. I also can't add anything like music to my iPhone, but I can delete. All of the usual tricks I use to sync video and music when my iPhone/iPad is being reluctant are not working.
I also apprently can't delete things either? Deleted hundreds of songs from iPhone using iTunes to free up space and they are all still on my phone. (Not purchased through iTunes so they shouldn't have been automatically backed up or anything)

Go to the Device tab in iTunes' Preferences and se what the date iis of the backup(s). Apple only retaines the latest backup unless you restor from a backup and that one is also kept.

I need to back up and sync multiple iPhones to a single iMac. Each iPhone has a separate Apple ID and the data from each iPhone needs to be backed up separately from the others. How can I do this without getting all of the contacts, etc. mixed? Tnx

I just got a new phone today the iphone 5c and i plugged it into itunes. i wanted to get all of my data from my iphone 4s but when i synced my phone all of my iphone 3 data was on my new phone how do i get my iphone 4 data on my new phone?
Did you choose the wrong back up? There should be a drop box when you go to "Restore from Back up" in iTunes and your iPhone is plugged in, on the Summary page. Choose the correct back up. If you can't find one, and you still have your device, back up your iPhone 4 again and then choose that back up. Or check for an old iCloud back up if you have one.

I don't think you're on iOS 5, I think you're using iOS 6. That's the latest version.
Unless you've used iCloud to back up your documents, you won't be able to restore them. And for future reference, you don't have to uninstall Pages to update your iPad anymore. Sorry about this. -

okay. when i connected my iphone 5 to itunes it replaced all of the data from my old iphone 3gs (contacts, apps, notes, bookmarks,photos, music, everything you can possibly think of) with my new iphone 5's data. I am so frustrated with this. Why? and it did it by itself, i didnt touch anything, or clicked anything. please help me this is urgent! I am a businessman and need my contacts.
You're iPhone was probably set to automatically sync with your iTunes upon plugging it in. Best option is to restore from a backup, either on iCloud or your computer.

Can I REPAIR my External Hard Drive in Disk Utility without losing all of the Data?
So, here's the story...
A while back, I made the mistake of throwing my TM backups in the Trash folder. They were "stuck" there in my External Trash FOREVER until I finally decided to do something about it. I read a few forums that gave instructions on how to delete those volumes through Manually through a series of prompts in TERMINAL. This process actually WORKED and removed the files from the trash, HOWEVER, now the Disk isn't mounting properly. After running "Verify Disk" in Disk Utility, It's telling me that the disk needs to be repaired.
Fearing that my disk may be wiped completely, I thought I'd transfer all the files over to another HD and Repair the Problematic Disk just to be safe.
But When I try to copy the files over to another drive with ample space, it gives the message "The operation can’t be completed because the selection contains both backup items and non-backup items."
I am now at a cross roads, because I DO NOT WANT TO LOSE ALL OF THE DATA ON THIS DRIVE!!!! What do I do??Hi,
If it is not mounting properly but you can "grab" something in an effort to Transfer it, what are you seeing ?
Can you limit it to different files/folders ?
Other than that I would try Carbon Copy Cloner (you can Try before your Buy sort of thing)
Use this to Create the Backup of the drive.
Then repair drive.

Hi everyone, again landed up with a problem.
After trying a lot to do it myself, finally decided to post here..
I have created a form in form builder 6i, in which on clicking a button the data gets exported to excel sheet.
It is working fine with a single table. The problem now is that i am unable to do the same with 2 tables.
Because both the tables have same number of columns & column names.
Below are 2 tables with column names:

On my iPhone, I have songs from a CD that I bought and no longer have. I now have a new computer and it is telling me that to move songs that I only have on my computer, I must erase all of the music from my iPhone (It also says that my phone is already synced with another computer so it has to download everything). I would like to keep all of the music on my Phone and still be able to have these songs from my computer on my iPhone. Help!
The iPhone is not a storage device. iPhone is designed to sync with 1 computer and
iPhone sync only one way computer -> iPhone except content bought from iTunes.

emilyki, look no further. We can help you look into this data usage issue. First of all, we recommend that you disable data for a few applications on that iPhone 5C device to ensure that the applications are not depleting data from your allowance when not in use. You can do this by tapping Settings>Cellular>Scroll down to all the downloaded applications and disable data for applications.
Additionally, you also have the option of disabling data in Settings>Cellular when you're not using data or connected to Wi-Fi.

I'm running a machine with Windows 7, Office 2010, and Acrobat XI. When I save a specific PDF as an Excel workbook, all of the data in the original PDF is sorted correctly in four columns. When the same task is performed on this file on another user's machine, all of the data is sorted into one column. The user has the same versions of Windows, Office, and Acrobat. I've attempted the "Repair installation" option but the problem persists. Any suggestions? Thanks again for helping,
-EThanks for the quick reply. I figured out how to get the desired results by using tagging. For anyone who may reference this post in the future, I went to "Customize" in the top right corner of Adobe, then selected "Create new tool set...", looked under "accessiblity and found the "tag" option. Hit ok, tag is added to the toolbar. Then I highlighted the dataset in the PDF that was relevant to the output format, then clicked "tag", saved as spreadsheet. Sorry I can't provide more details on how tagging works or if there's a more elegant solution available, but I'm sure one's out there.
