hey my name is Jacob and i got a iphone i pressent, and it have worked very well until for a while ago. 2-3 months i would guess, my password for app-store, itunes and icloud are change constant. i dont know exactly how long time there is between, but 1 day or so i think. i dont know why but the password charges itself, and i know that you think that, i somehow have forgotten the password, but i have wrotten it down some times right after i have maid it. the only reason that i can log in and text you is because i used your ifoggot.com or something... do you have an answer to why the passwords im making dont last for more then some days, and how i can fix it. it really irretating to change it so often and i cant use passwords that im use to because of the rule that it cant have been used in the past year... so please answer me

As far as making new passwords, just add a two digit number to the password you want to use.
I.E., I want to use Apple123X as my password. Oh, but I need to update it? Make it Apple123X01. Next time, make it Apple123X02. And so on. I do the same thing for my other accounts. I use one strong password, then add two letters to the end, like 'gm' for Gmail and 'eb' for Ebay.
The only way your password can 'expire' is if it is changed. Who else uses your Apple ID and/or knows your email address & password? If no one does, then change your email password as well. It could be someone that hacked/guessed your email account password, and is using that to change the Apple ID password, especially if you have a rescue email address set up.
Change your primary email address and password, as well as your rescue email address at appleid.apple.com.

Oh no! I'm sorry to see there's a lot of confusion here and data shared, x-rayDon. We can definitely work to fix. This happens when two devices share the same Apple ID, so she will need to reset hers. She can do so by assessing this link Apple - My Apple ID. You will need to decide who will keep the account if want separate Apple IDs since purchases cannot be shared unless you do Family Sharing.

Wifi connections - "incorrect password" when all passwords & connections up to date

My wifi on my Iphone 5 worked for about 2-3 weeks and then stopped working. Additionally, when trying to connect the phone would not connect to my home wifi or other wifi networks all though all passwords are correct and connections properly working. I have reset my network and completed a hard reset on my phone and no luck. Any insight / advice?

How to find out the list of all user's whose passwords are expired

i had tried to find out the list of all user's whose passwords are expired.
i had written some jndi code by finding the max age and then find out the current time and subtracted this current time from max age using the following code

and then parse it and create a string time as follows

where "year" "month" etc were parsed from curTime
now i can get the list by using following code

NamingEnumeration results = ctx.search(baseDN,filterCriteria, sc); "
but the current time which i am getting is the time of my system not the time of ldap server
so my questions are following;
1.Can there is any way by which i can get the tivole sever's system time.
2.If there is no way then can you suggest any other way to find out the list of user's whose passwords are expired.

If on a computer browser you go to icloud.com and sing in are you notes there? If so get them off.
Next,
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

If not, he likely has auto-complete (or similar) enabled and you probably do not.

I have been updating my site over the last week, using Iweb SEO TOOL, but suddenly 2 days ago I can no longer update when i go to publish it says "invalid password "on Iweb Test. and on SEO Tool, Login Failed Login Authentication Failed, the password and all settings are correct.
I am 100% sure the all the setting are correct, as it has been working for the last 7 months and I have just been updating it, then suddenly it stopped, I have all the FTP settings wrote down, and even changed the passwords twice hoping that may work to no avail.

Try the following:
delete the iWeb preference files, com.apple.iWeb.plist and com.apple.iWeb.plist.lockfile, that resides in your Home() /Library/Preferences folder.
go to your Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete its contents.

launch iWeb and try again.
If that doesn't help continue with:
move the domain file from your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder to the Desktop.
launch iWeb, create a new test site, save the new domain file and close iWeb.
go to the your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder and delete the new domain file.
move your original domain file from the Desktop to the iWeb folder.
launch iWeb and try again.

On all of these devices, go to: Settings > iCloud and make sure they're updated with the new password. If you're talking about Macs, go to: "System Preferences > iCloud" too.

Keychain is nice, but I prefer to use 1Password. It's got a nice user interface, and does what I need. It stores passwords, notes, identitiy info, credit card info, application registration numbers, saves hardware information such as your router settings, and more. It also has a secure password generator. There's an extension that keeps a button in the browser toolbar for Safari, etc., so you can submit your info (password, credit card) with the click of a button, and without having to type the information in through the website you are visiting. It also pays attention when you are signing in to a website, and asks you if you want to save the login to 1Password. Once you get them all entered, it's a big timesaver.

The object here is to not indiscriminately delete files you need or want to keep. I personally have never deleted a file I wanted to keep.
In essence a backup is for catastrophic failure of your system. So it can be restored once that failure has been fixed. Not because you go in willy nilly and start deleting files.

The app hasn't been updated in almost a year, so it may not be compatible with iOS 5 or 5.1. They have next to no support information on their web site, so you may need to email them:

The normal route for a single app that won't launch is to remove and reinstall it, but that would probably lose all your information unless you have it synched to a computer. I'd suggest contacting the developer.
Update: their Twitter feed says that they've had to do a number of updates for iOS 5.1 to fix an issue that was crashing all their apps under 5.1, and have submitted them to Apple. So stay tuned for a while and look for an update.

First it would be helpful to get more info. Do you keep your music in the default location inside the iTunes folder? Do you use iTunes to keep it organized? Do you have any type of backup of either the iTunes Library files or your entire Music folder? Before reinstalling anything, check that your actual music files are still there. Go to your_homefolder/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Music and I am pretty sure that all your files are still there. iTunes keeps its library file on the root level of the iTunes folder. It is either corrupted or you somehow created a new one which subsequently is empty. Hold down the option while you click on iTunes, then choose "existing library" and browse to your iTunes folder and select the iTunes Library file and see what happens. Report back if your iTunes Library file is corrupt.

Cannot access keychain. Passwords are all correct, "security code" sent to old cellphone number. Impossible to contact apple support.

I've been trying to access my iCloud's keychain for weeks now. Updating Yosemite somehow made my 13'' Macbook pro "log off" from the keychain and when I try to reconnect to the keychain, I am asked my iCloud password and then my security code, which I both enter successfully.
Then I am unexplainably asked to enter a "security code" sent to an old cellphone number of mine that is now deactivated. I click on "I don't have access to this number" and I am redirected to Apple's confusing silly-willy contact support website and find out that, since I am in China, there is NO POSSIBLE WAY for me to contact support.
Bottom line is, even though I have FULL CREDENTIALS to access the entirety of my iCloud's features(my passwords are all correct!!), I am stuck trying to access my keychain because of an unreasonable unsolicited and unwanted "security" measure, combined with a NON-EXISTING costumer support for China.
Apple is such a huge waste of time, I own an iPhone, a Macbook pro and a magic mouse, but one thing I'm sure of is, I will never ever buy anything else from this company again, because it just PRETENDS to sell the "perfect costumer experience".
