All pictures show as the same photo

ALL the pictures in iphoto show as a picture from photobooth.  Fortunatly, when you click on any of the pictures, the original picture is still there, and I can click through them and they show as they should.   However, it makes for insane editing and book creating! Regrettfully, my 15 year old has "no idea" how it happened.  All new uploads come up just fine.

Your 15 yer-old is probably innocent.
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Include the option to rebuild the thumbnails.
This can take 3 or 4 goes.

I plugged my iphone 5 into my iMac to sync. I ended up with Camera Roll, Photo Library, Instagram and Pictures. The Photo Library and Pictures have exactly the same photos in and I don't/didn't want any of them? How can I delete?

I tried that to be honest. The best thing is, the albums I want to delete aren't even on my iMac!!!!! So not even there to deselect?? Not a clue?

  • All my libraries have the same photos

I have iphoto 7.1.3 and several libraries... call them A, B, C, D. The libraries are all there, but when opened they only show the photos of one of the libraries .. i.e. Libraries A, B, C, D all show the photos of Library A. All photos from the other libraries (thousands) are missing.

How are you opening them? the only way to change libraries is to launch iPhoto while depressing the option (alt) key and using the select library function or to us iPhoto Library Manager - http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/
If you are double clicking on a particular iPhoto library thinking that that will open that one - it does not - it opens iPhoto using the standard library that was last selected using the select library function described above

  • IPhoto 11 showing the same photo everywhere

I am using iPhoto '11 9.2.1 on a MAC osX 10.7.2 and when I load iphoto every photo it shows is the same photo, however, the labels underneath are correct and if I double click it, it opens the right photo- its just the thumbnail that is broken.
This happened shortly after I upgraded to Lion and any photos I add now are correct- so its only impacting ones that added pre-lion.
    Thanks

Launch iPhoto with the Option+Command keys held down and rebuilt the library with just Options #3 and #4 selected.  Make a temporary copy of the library before rebuilding just in case the rebuild does'nt go as expected.

I have try for over 24 hours to try to unfreeze the same photo that is displayed whenever I try to access my PHOTOS button. How do I get this photo to move or off my screen?

Double-click the Home button. Hold an icon in the bottom row until the minus sign shows, then touch all minus signs to close all apps.
Then, Press and Hold the Home and Power buttons until the Apple Logo appears, about 10 seconds.

  • How can I print multiple copies of the same photo onto one sheet of paper?  Do I have to Duplicate the photo in iPhoto and then select them all?

How can I print multiple copies of the same photo onto one sheet of paper?  Do I have to Duplicate the photo in iPhoto and then select them all?

no - you simply have to select the option to print mucliples of a photo on a page
select the photo and go to the file menu ==> print - select the printer, paper size and print size and click customize - in the tool bar click on the settings icon (the gear looking thingy) and select "multiple of the same photo per page" and the preview will reflect this option showing a full page of the selected size photos

  • We have multiple devices in our family.  On each iPad/iPhone each user has their own apple id for iMessage, Facetime and icloud, but we all sign in to the same apple id for itunes.  When one of my kids comments on my shared photostream, it shows my name??

    CREATE A NEW USER
Go to System Preferences --> Create a New User in Users & Groups
Decide on whether to setup as Admin or Standard User.
Switch to the New User by logging out under the Apple in the Menu Bar or use Fast User Switching
Fast User Switching allows other users to leave current applications and windows open. Depending on RAM, you might need to log out rather than use FUS.

  • How do I get all 'exclamation point' songs to show at the same time?

    Please help!
I need to delete TONS of broken tracks... they have all been reimported, but
the same old tracks with the exclamation points remain in my library!
What's even worse is you have to click on each individual track, just to get them to show whether they have the exclamation point? There has got to be an easier way!
Does anyone have any suggestions on what i can do to make ALL the tracks that are broken, show their exclamation points?
    Thank you!

    Hi
Maybe you can solve your problem by executing the following action :
+Open iTunes in "safe mode" (without external plug-ins) by using the keyboard shortcut Command-Option (while opening iTunes).+
This will open iTunes in safe mode, which disables some plug-ins ...
But normally all exclamation marks will disappear ... at least it solved my problem.
    I hope this helps

  • I am having trouble importing photos, gets stuck on the same photo each time?!?

I am having trouble importing almost 3000 pics from my phone to my computer. Start up disk should be fine, cleaned it up before I began.  Import gets stuck on the same photo each time I try the import.  I have had to force quit a few times, and it can't seem to get past that same picture near the end.  Please help?!? It never gives me an error, it just keeps spinning and nothing is importing.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
              View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then take one of the actions that you're having trouble with. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
