[All Platforms] Always green colored buttons should change and match Album/Playlist covers
When you use Spotify, you always see everything green. But, a better way to experience the feel of the albums and playlists is the wau that Spotify adapts and matches to the color of the Albums/playlists. Spotify should change the color of the shuffle play button in mobile or change thecolor of the highlighted now playing tracks on the desktop. Seeing everything red when the album is red is the greatest experience in streaming music.

In "purchases" while in my App Store, Mountain Lion says, "an error has occurred" and the green 'download' button is grey and I cannot re-start the download. I was abroad when I purchased this app and during download, my internet connection was lost. At the time, Apple was still offering the e-chat, so I did that and the man was very helpful and it was a quick fix, so my download button turned green again, and I was able to begin the download. BUT during the download, I was kicked offline once again, and I decided to wait until I was back in the USA. I will go in to an Apple store and ask assistance, but if there is something I am missing, I'd like to try that first. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I changed my apple id but the applie id for icloud did not change on my mac in system preferences.
I have changed my apple id on system preferences under users and groups but the icloud preferences don't pick up the change.
I restarted my computer, and still no change.
I have been using icloud under my old apple id for mail calendars and notes.
How do I get icloud account information to change on my mac's system preferences and match my new apple id?
I am missing something.

The pop up told me it was going to delete my contact and other information from my mac, so I was hesitant to do that. Well I did as you directed and I was able to sign in with my new apple id and I did not lose the information the pop up threatened I was going to. So again thank you. It is the little things that make a big difference sometimes.

CSS - some visited links always same color while others change?
i am using CSS and links like:

a:visited { color: #551a8b; }
a:hover { color: #06e; }
a:focus { outline: thin dotted; }
all fine here
but I have main menu navigation where i want the VISITED link color to always be the same - even after visited...
but the rest of the page can use = a:visited { color: #551a8b; }
just not the main menu ...
So how do i set that up?
BTW: Is it possible to have several css link setup code (as above) in the same page?Thanks - I'll give it a try - so I can do several in a css doc like ....?

When I visit a site the color of the link seldom changes to the color I have selected. also even when it does change, it reverts to the unvisited color in a day or so.

That is happening (most likely) because Firefox is not storing your browsing history for long, or at all. Go into Tools > Options > Privacy and make sure the configurations are set as you want them to be. If they are, it's likely you have some security software that's erasing your Firefox's history (and possible other browsers' if you have them installed). The most likely suspects are antiviruses, firewalls and security suites, but clean-up utilities like CCleaner are also capable of cleaning Firefox's browsing history and other personal data. Make sure you don't have them configured to do so.
I should remind you, however, that some sites (they are rare, though) don't have their links change color when visited. That happens only when their authors deliberately make them not change the colors. You can force websites to use a color scheme of your choice by going into Tools > Options > Content > Colors... and unticking "Allow pages to choose their own colors". You can also configure the color scheme in that screen.

In fact I just tried another and it opened the Yahoo home page. All the bookmarks in the Bookmarks Toolbar work fine, but anything outside of that doesn't. Mostly it opens the http://news.bbc.co.uk.
Any help would be much appreciated.
JeffA possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

I get to the MY EBAY screen ok most of the time but if I want to go search for something or view one of the items I am bidding on the page display get all screwed up. It seems as if the page was disassembled in pieces and stretched out vertically. All images are gone and everything is out of place.
Do you have a backup that you can restore from? Your old hard drive seems to be the problem.

While your at it. Develop a program similar to "dropbox" for referrels. If you refer somebody and they sign up, you get a month free or the like.

Button should disappear permanently
Dear all,
I would greatly appreciate your help with the following question:
I'm currently preparing a training, which will be placed in our company's LMS. In this training, I placed a button on a non-quiz slide, which must be clicked in order to complete the training as it is one of the required "quiz points" for the successful completion of the training (so this button has quiz properties, although it is not on a quiz slide). After being clicked, this button should disappear and the caption that appears as a result should stay permanently on the slide. This button is not a quiz question per se, but rather a confirmation of completion and agreement (which is important for reporting purposes).
The problem is that because this is not a quiz slide, this information does not stay permanently on the slide if users leave the slide while navigating through the training, or if the training is closed and then re-opened. Quiz slides, however, continue to show the submitted answers and captions - and this is what I would like to happen on my slide.
Is there a way to have the button permanently disappear once it is clicked, and the caption stay permanently, so that the user (while navigating through the training, or when re-opening the training) can no longer make any changes to this slide and see immediately the caption, which states that the button has already been clicked?

Concerning the second part of my question (button disappearing permanently and caption remaining permanently when coming back for a second session): the problem is that this slide cannot be quiz slide, because it has to be formatted a certain way (which is not possible on a quiz slide), but I need the actions on the slide (upon clicking button, button disappears and caption permanently pops-up) to be irreversible. Do you know of a work-around for this?

I am invoking a report from a form , the form has one status field ,the value can be NEW,APPROVED,CANCEL
i just want take the print of the report if the status is approved , in all other cases the print button should be perform its action.
that is , when user tries to print the report , its function should not happen.

All of my Taks Bar buttons are grey and I only have graphite an blue in the Appearance Prefrences window to choose from.
Correct - what you have described is normal for Lion.
Lion removed a lot of color from auxiliary icons, such as those in the Sidebar and those in toolbars. It's a shame, because clor can be a quick aid in finding the one you want quickly - it's a very good visual identifier.
Re Appearance in the General pane of System Preferences - Blue and Graphite are the only choices offered in Lion. -

I have iphone 4 . I don't know how that happenned that the normal color on screen and all icons changed ( for example , normally green color phone icon became purple color ,) and photo pictures turned negative appearance ( ghost-like ) . Any idea how to fix this mishap ? Your help will be appreciated.

You can try two possible steps:-
1]Triple click the home button. You should get an accessibility menu.deselect the negative/black and white option.
2]Go to settings->General->accessibility->and deselect invert colours.
That should fix it

Why can't I change the color of my ProgressBar? Always green.
I added a ProgressBar object to my form. Works fine. But the bar is always green despite setting the Forecolor to Blue in the Design and to red in code:
