[All Platforms][Music] Add option to skip explicit songs

Please add a simple toggle switch to skip playback of songs with explicit content. Something that can be turned on or off globally without affecting anything else. While playing music from radio stations or categories on Spotify, there is always that akward moment while in presence of friends, parents or God forbid, the neighbor's kids where foul language and profanity starts blurting out of the speakers. This is when we start hating Spotify and go back to iTunes. Just a simple switch....

Re- sync the phone with the computer it was originally synced with.

I did an update and only only the music purchased from itunes store is there all the cds I burned to it are gone. Tried syncing ipod but it says it will wipe all content. How do I get all my music back. gone from over 6000 songs to 250?

There was an Explicit Button idea submitted in 2012 that said: "Add a button that controls whether Explicit songs are played or not. When it is off and you're listening to an album or playlist, the explicit songs are skipped. That way you can still listen to your favorite album or playlist when more impressionable members of the family (kids / parents) are around." Three years later it's still "under concideration". My feeling is that it's lower priority than deciding what brand of fish food they're going to buy for their gold fish. So I'll help them out, this is an idea of how the front end could look.

3.1EA1 database compare: add options to skip partitions comparison

I just tried the new comparison tool, and it works far better than the old one. Just, I didn't find an option to skip comparing the partitions, I mean how many partitions there are and their names/boundaries. For example if I am comparing a development database to a test one, I don't want to change how many partitions there are or their names, because they could be different - for example we use partitions to implement a rolling window of n days (partitions names are created form the partition dates), and n can be very different form the dev database to the test one and especially on production ones.

Just updated to the newest 7.1 and cannot listen to my music. Once I skip one song it keeps skipping songs one after the other without stopping. Any idea?

I deleted the app from the muttitask as well. But once I open it and skip one song it does not stop? Haven't restarted my phone maybe somebody wants to run some diagnostics on it. But it is pretty frustrating. Have an iPhone 4 btw

Do not restore from backup, rather sync your content back to the phone. Test now.

In general all the ads are to loud. I listen to my music loudly, and you add volume, for your cheeky little ad tricks. It seriously bothers me changing the volume level all the time. And it hurts my ears. Sorry, if this is not the place for this, but I needed to have a place to mention it.

[All Platforms][Music] Album Shuffle Function

Spotify should implement a shuffle album function. The path for shuffling all songs is currently Your Music > Songs > Shuffle Play. The only difference for the paths would need to be swapping Songs for Album (or Playlist or Artist, or however this could be expanded). I really like listening to music, sometimes I enjoy the song shuffle feature, but usually it's too erratic for me. One minute it's hardcore, the next is some americana rock, the next is some sad singer songwriter, then on to hair metal... you get the picture. What would be nice would be an album shuffle feature. Let me listen to 15 hardcore songs in a row by the same artist, then onto an album of Americana rock, then maybe I want to skip the depressing singer/songwriter that's up next, so I do. I've always thought it would be an awesome feature to have and hopefully some other folks do too.

Please create a larger Car Mode, Simple Buttons Larger Buttons, SImpler display, with Voice Tracks, Voice Search, Voice Albums, Voice Radio. I use this in my car, it is very Cumbersome to change tracks , browse files, add to radio etc. I would love to have a car mode, equivalent to Easy Button, Giant Shuffle Logo, Giant Track List, Giant Larger Icons , Please make a simple version of Spotify for Mobile. It is dangerous, and needs to be simpler to see, everything for when driving. Think of a mode you would make for like a grand parent or older adult, Simple, Big Buttons, Big Icons. Please consider more options, and display options for Car or Mobile Users. We are using your product every day, in our busy commutes, etc. And we wish to do so even more safely then current layout.

It's not really a problem, I could just get a premium account, but I think if you should sell your product better, you should make the commercials fit to listeners need, I find it kinda weird when i'm listening to death metal that a commercial for a pop artist comes in between, it would have been more suitable with a commercial for a metal artist instead in my case.

What should you do if your iPod touch isn't playing the songs in your music it's only skipping the songs

My sister her iPod isn't playing her songs only skipping them what should she do?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

All my music is ruined

itunes has ruined all my music, my tracks now skip, anywhere from 4-25 seconds in they will restart, some about 4 times before they will even think about playing through. Worse I tried my music on media player and it now does the same thing there as well as on my ipod mini too. Did no-one test this version before they released it for windows?

Im desperately looking for some kind of info on this because at the mo iTunes is just about unusable. If each time i play a track it ruins the file itself i don't know what to do.

My music pictures are with the wrong songs, how do I fix that?
