Yes TNAPR is the table which contains sapscipts name and print program names.
Step:1: Goto to the Table TNAPR using SE11
Step:2: Get the Contents of the Table(CNTRLSHIFTF10)
Step:3: On the Table Content Selection Screen, Type the driver program name in the field PGNAM and execute(F8).
Step:4: FONAM field of the result display contains the SAPScript Name for our driver program.

New-page <page name> Prints the text following this command on a new page (when a page name is specified then that page is taken as the next page)
Protect .. Endprotect This acts like a conditional page break. Putting the text within this command prevents the breaking of the text across multiple pages. If there is not enough space for the entire paragraph to be printed in the space remaining on the page, then the entire paragraph is printed on the next page
Box <xpos> <ypos> <width> <height> <frame> <intensity>
Position <xorigin> <yorigin> <window> <page>
Size <width> <height> <window> <page>
The BOX command draws a box as per the specifications. The x y co-ordinates are for the upper left corner relative to the values in the position command.
POSITION command is used to set the x y co-ordinates with respect to the start position of the window.
SIZE command is used to specify the size of the box that we need to draw.
Varying these parameters also helps to draw a line instead of a box.
IF .. END IF This allows the conditional printing of the text on the output document. The various conditional operators that can be used are as follows
= EQ Equal to
< LT Less than
> GT Greater than
<= LE Less than or equal to
>= GE greater than or equal to
<> NE not equal to
The logical operators that can be used are as follows
NOT, AND, OR

Sap script alignments are changing to various printers

Hello Everyone,
I developed a form with sap script, it is working fine for some printers, now there's a problem with
other printers: I mean that for some printer the printout of the layout is ok, for some other printers the layout alignments a are going to be changed ( some line missing, character font different, alignments) .but i want same printout for every printer. can any one please give solution for this.

check out the following solution:
in a certain form for two differently configured printers, there seem to be a difference in the output of characters per inch (the distance between characters which gives a layout problem - text in two lines instead of one.
It happens when the two printers having different Printer Controls' if you go to SPAD Menu (Spool Administrator Menu) you can see the difference in the Printer Control and if you make the Printer control setting for both the printers as same. then it will be ok. and also u have to check what is the device type used for both the output devices.

Can anyone please let me know what is the equivalent command to strlen() in sap script editor. I need to find the string length of a symbol in sap script editor itself without writing the logic in print program or by calling any includes in the sap script editor.

As an alternative, you can use the perform statement in SAPscript so that it will execute a subroutine you implemented in another report.In the subroutine, you can do everything you want.

How to Put together all SAP Transactions that are used a single User

Dear Friends,
In our client place, each user will be given a set of transaction codes, (like Sales Order Creation, Invoice Creation etc....). Each user role differs with other user role.
Our client requirement is to put together all transaction codes on which his role is assigned, for instance transaction coeds like VA11, VA15N, VA21, VA25N, VL01N, VL06O, Print command. and customer generated report 'Z' codes should be placed together in a single transaction.
I heard about area menus but I dont know how to call that functionality within the Sales Transactions. Could any one of you help me to resolve this issue. Your suggestions will be highly appreciated.

HI,
In case of your requirement , you can create an Area Menu (SE43) based on the role and assign all the required transactions.
Later you can assign that Area Menu as the default parameter to the User ID (SU01).
Whenever the user will logon he will see that area menu instead of initial SAP screen.
Please check with the same and confirm.

What All in one printers are supported with 10.9?

My HP C6380 will no longer scan with my Mac (Scan utility, Image Capture or Preview) and HP says they are not interested in fixing it. So I am shopping for a new All in One. I looked at the Airprint compatible printers (HP,Cannon, Epson), but they only seem to support 10.8 and below. What is compatible, is there an updated list?

FWIW, I just purchased an Epson XP810 and Airprint works well both with ML and Mavericks; I'm not so sure about its quality in scanning photos and will be contacting Epson about that issue.

Tag column
The tag column contains format keys which define the output formatting of the text or initiate control commands.
A format key defines the beginning of a new paragraph and its formatting. All text lines directly after it which have blanks in this field belong to this paragraph. These lines are handled as continuous text lines and are always formatted by the SAPscript editor so that as many words as possible fit into an editor line. Blanks between words are taken into account. The editor formatting is not the same as the output formatting.
The output formatting of a text is not visible until the text is output to a printer or displayed on the screen. Here, the format definitions of the paragraph format are evaluated.
The format keys possible and their respective meanings are defined in styles or forms. If a style or form is assigned to a text module you can use the paragraph formats defined there to format your text. Format keys which can be defined by the user can consist of one or two characters. Only the letters A to Z and the numbers 0 to 9 are allowed. The paragraph format must always begin with a letter. If a format key is not contained in the assigned style or form, the default paragraph defined there is used instead.
Some format keys are defined by SAPscript. They have a predefined meaning and can be used in all texts:
Default paragraph
The format definitions which are specified for the paragraph defined in the assigned style or form as the default paragraph are used for the output formatting of the paragraph involved.

The subsequent text is written to a new line during output formatting. The formatting attributes of the last paragraph format are retained.
/: SAPscript control command
The characters contained in the actual text line are not output as text but are regarded as a control command. They are not interpreted or executed until output formatting of the text. Control commands must always fit into a line fully. Subsequent lines are not allowed.
/* Comment line
This line is not taken into account during output formatting of the text.
= Extended line
This line is not subject to the line formatting in the SAPscript editor. The text contained in this line is appended directly to the character of the preceding text line which was output last. If this is not required, there must be at least one blank at the beginning of the extended line.
/= Like extended line
But the subsequent text is placed in a new line during output formatting.
( Raw line
The subsequent editor line is not interpreted by the SAPscript composer during output formatting. This means that character formats, symbols, tab characters, masking characters, or hypertext links which may be contained in this line are not evaluated and are therefore passed unchanged to the output device. The text contained in this line is also appended directly to the character of the preceding text line which was output last. If this is not required, there must be at least one blank at the beginning of the extended line.

But the subsequent text is placed in a new line during output formatting.
>x Fixed line
The line is not ready for input in the SAPscript editor. It can also not be deleted or separated. You can only create fixed lines with a program . You can therefore give a text a fixed structure, for example, which cannot be changed by the user.
You can use any number or letter for the 'x'. You can therefore separate different sub-headings, for example. If several fixed lines occur consecutively with the same indicator, they are regarded as a unit by the SAPscript editor. It is not possible to insert anything between these lines in the editor.
In the case of fixed lines, SAPscript print formatting interprets the first two characters of the line as a paragraph format for formatting. You therefore need to enter the required paragraph format or blank here.

BOX command does not print vertical/horizontal lines in SAP Script

Dear all,
in sap script we are using the BOX command to draw some boxes. DUring the print preview, all the boxes look
just fine including horizontal and vertial lines. But, when we print the output, I get the output minus
the vertical lines and some horizontal lines.

We have an urgent requirement where we need to search for a character string in all SAP Scripts and Smartforms in our system.
It would also help if we can get the names of programs/function modules which are internally generated for the same.

You can create a variable window in the main window.
You can restrict the last item of the main window by varying the size of main window. In your wite-form ,

 IF sy-subrc <> 0.
DO this. in the bottom of the main window, create a variable window.
you can add your text in the variable window inside main window.
it will be displayed just after the item ends.

Why SAP Script client-dependent but Smartform is client independent

What are the fundamental reasons for justifying that SAP Script is client-dependent but Smartform is client independent ???

why script is client dependent?
the reason is:
in script, to display some table data, we use text elements, where the text elements access the dictionary tables data. there the table from which we are fetching data, that may be a client dependent table, so first the text elements became client dependent. as script use text elements, script also became client dependent.
hope u got the point. to b simple, the text elements r client dependent, there fore scripts also became client dependent.
smartforms are client independent. bcoz it doesnt use any text elements. it will be executed through a function module, as you know function modules are client independent, the smartform also became client independent.

Changes are not reflecting while executing the SAP script from report

HI,
In SAP-script we are nmaking changes in form in client 130
it is showing the changes in 140 client but while excuting the report the same are not reflecting in the output.

Hello.
Scripts are mandant depentant. So you must copy from 130 to 140 for changes take efect.
Do it in transaction SE71 in mandant 140, first screen, in the menu options.
And never forget to activate it in all mandants.

Hello Vamsi,
SAP scripts and SMARTFORMS - both serve the same purpose.
SMARTFORMS were introduced since the release of SAP 4.7. Earlier to that it was only SAP scripts for designing layouts. SMARTFORMS have few additional benefits in terms designing over scripts.
Now, coming to your questions - Every Script or a SMARTFORM has a driver program. i.e. Smart form/Script has to be called into a program. And this Driver program is in turn assigned to the relevant output type, And the output type is assiged to appropriate level of a transaction i.e. at the header level of an order or invoice etc.
T-code: SE71 is used to design SAP script.
T-Code: SMARTFORMS is used for designing Smart Forms.
To find out whether a script or Smartform is used in any particular case..........you have to look into the Driver program that is assiged to the output type.
