All software up to date, but telling me I cannot open files edited in 'newer version' help!
I'm a Graphic design student, so work between my Mac at home and one in Class. I've now gone to open files last edited in class, and am receiving an error message to say this was saved with a newer version (CC 10.1), however my Creative Cloud at home has no pending updates- how can I fix this? Your help would be hugely appreciated!

For example: If you are using Indesign, you can save your file as .IDML files.

I am using OS X 10.8 on a Mac. This may be different if you are using iOS.
Does Numbers'09 still exist in your Applications folder? Maybe inside a new folder? Perhaps you could use Numbers'09 to open your documents.

As crazy as this sounds, this is actually the correct answer. This happened to me from 10.0.1 to 2. It wouldn't recognize the need to update (even in App store). Had to put the app itself in the trash, then log in to the AppStore account I used to purchase FCPX, and then I just downloaded the full, latest version. Installed that. Everything worked fine. I know it's a little nerve-wracking, just back up all your projects and files before (Projects and Events should remain untouched even if you put your FCPX App in the trash).

When I stream music from my MacBook to speakers via airport sound stutters on and off. When I do so from iPhone all is fine. Can't seem to find any settings to change Tried to shut off firewall but settings will not let me. All software up to date. Thanks for any suggestions

been looking for something a bit like it got an old ipod thouch in a audio dock in the kitchen and want to give it access to all my music not just play what is synced
so far my only options is to get an app to use upnp to get the music directly from my nas
or get some app which require the computer to be running and running some program to handle it
and as far as I can tell getting access to stuff synced on the atv is a no go -

I tend to make my playlists right on my ipod. This did not happen for the last 2 years. Just started recently. Did get a new computer recently.That is because you got a new computer. You can only sync all media from one syncing computer. You can sync from any computer to iPod using the manual method but that does not sync from iPod to computer.

Reinstalled software but Pages is not available - all software up to date. When I go to Settings > 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars' the screen closes immediately returning to the home screen? I have tried resetting the iphone - no change, I then restored the iphone completely - no change (all software up to date.) please help!
I have the same problem with iPhone4, iOS5. The only workaround i have found was to disable the contacts and calender for the iCloud account. So much for being able to sync all my Mac products. At least with Mobileme everything but my windows products synced and worked OK.

A bit of background: phone was thought stolen and declared to Police as such. Found it later and cancelled theft declaration. In meantime provider had blacklisted IMEI number. After IMEI number was rehabilitated, was instructed by provider to restore Iphone in Itunes to be able to use it again. But normal restore failed and phone got into recovery mode. Keep getting following error message: "Iphone could not be restored. This device isn't eligible for the requested build".
Checked all software up-to-date. Tried to troubleshoot with test in Teminal, firewall off, identifying ports... Still getting same error message. Anybody successfully restored Iphone in similar situation? Any help much appreciated, thanks.https://discussions.apple.com/message/18851577#18851577

My gen 3 iPod Touch seems to have duplicated all my music since updating to IOS 5 so that it now only holds half as much. What can I do about it? I'm using the same iTunes library with OS 10.6 and all software up to date.
Is the camera damaged? Could be a hardware problem.
Try:
Close the Camera app in the multitasking bar, then try again.
Restart/Reset/Restore your iPod. In that order. -

iTunes Tutorials iwll not play. Using windows XP. All software up to date. I know others have had the same issue, however I have not seen a solution. I appreciate any advice.
I have traced the problem to a corrupted profile. When I captured the images in question, I also used Color Cherckr to create a profile for processing. When I apply that profile to the adjustments I make, I can no longer "Edit In". If I use another profile, even one that I created using Color Checkr at a different point in time, I don't have the issue. Something seems to have corrupted the new profile. I will re-create the profile and see if the issue is resolved.

When I tried to restart my computer, FaceTime will pop-up and a warning message The document “IMG_3054.JPG” could not be opened. FaceTime cannot open files in the “JPEG image” format. I tried to clike OK but this worning message keeping pop-up and I can not quit FaceTime. So that I can't turnoff or restart my computer.
