All songs deleted after download

I had about 130 songs downloaded, 30 which weren't uploaded to my ipod or a CD. Recentally I downloaded Version 7.0 and my songs were all gone within a week. Also my songs were deleted from the music file. I didn't touch them nor my family. How can I get them back?

You're doing what the other 10 million subscribers are doing as well.
Im fairly certain this is a network error issue. You'll just have to accept this as teething problems Apple will be going through for the next couple weeks.

Me and my cousin use the same computer for iTunes, and so we create different libraries for our music by holding shift down after you click the iTunes desktop icon. I quit iTunes normally. I went back in and held shift down and went to go into my library, but when i got there the icon "iTunes Library" was missing. I have no idea how to get it back or restore it. It would be much easier if you simply created a new computer login account for you or your cousing then you won't have to Shift launch iTunes to get your own library.

Are you creating new library in the same location as the previous libraries?

If limited purchased media skips only on the iPhone, then delete the affected content and download it again free of charge via the purchased section of the iTunes Store. If almost all of your media library skips on the iPhone only, remove all music from the device by removing the preference to sync music. Can you do setup an unread mail folder that shows all unread mail regardless of what folder it really is in on the iPhone mail program somehow?

Deleting after downloading photos

How come sometimes iPhoto asks if you want to delete after downloading and other times no? Is there somewhere in preferences that is a surefire way of deleting instead of having to trawl through it manually when it doesn't give you the option?

Make sure that all of the years are selected in the source pane. (In the column to the left) click on the triangle next to the word "library" so that you can see a list of years below it. Be sure that all of the boxes are checked (each year, plus "early photos"). As long as they are all checked, you can either leave them visible or click the triangle beside "Library" to conceal them. If you don't have all of the years checked then the word "Library" will have an X by it, and some of your roll options are not available. Once you have done this, the X is removed, and you have the option to create a new film roll or smart album.
Then go to the View menu and choose "Sort Photos" > by Film Roll. Do you see any roll titles in the main viewing area - the big window to the right of the source pane? Even if all your photos are in the same roll, you will see the title of the roll above the thumbnails, and the number of photos in the roll on the right side of the screen across from the roll's title. [Try moving the thumbnail slider all the way to the left to make your photos as small as possible.] As TD said, rolls do not show up in the Source Pane. There you see Albums, Folders, Smart Albums, Books, and Slideshows... but never Film Rolls. Can you find yours?

All data deleted after upgrade to iOS8

I am deeply sad. All data has been deleted after upgrade to iOS8.
What I did:
1. Connect ipad to PC to transfer records from voice recorder.
2. iTunes offered to upgrade system.
3. I confirmed.
4. Some unknown error occured in the end of upgrade process.
5. When iPad started, iOS8 was there. All data disappeared.

ALL contacts deleted after APP updates

All my contacts were deleted after some applications were updated on my Iphone. How do I restore from my computer backup only the CONTACT information, as my phone has photos which have yet to be backed up onto the computer. I cant backup my phone now as my contact list is empty. Advice anyone?

My library is all mixed up after downloading iTunes 7. Help!!

I just downloaded iTunes7 and now my iTunes library is all mixed up. Some playlists are complete with a few extra songs. Most of my albums and playlists are so mixed up that I don't have a clue where to start looking for songs. It is making it almost impossible to use the program. Everything was working just fine today BEFORE I "upgraded". What can I do? Help!

Now, change its name like this: if it's called iTunes Library 09-12-06, rename it just "iTunes Library" (.itl). Hopefully that'll do the trick. Reopen iTunes and check everything is OK.

"Smart" playlists all screwed up after downloading iTunes 7

Okay, so I downloaded iTunes 7 this morning and have so far been lucky that all of my music is playing perfectly. I just have a different problem: when I play a song iTunes displays the correct information, but when I look at my "recently played" playlist it shows completely different songs as having played...it's completely ridiculous and I can't figure out how to make it right again...any ideas?

Not all songs appear for download in purchased section

Okay, so I downloaded an album a while back (The Goo Go Dolls - iTunes Originals) but lost it... So thought I would be able to re-download it! I can only download 13 of the 23 tracks on the album. As you can see from the attached screenshot, they don't even appear in the right hand pane but do in the left???
Confused a little... Hoping it something I have done!!!

All songs deleted on iPod mini but they are all still on iTunes

For some wierd reason all my songs were deleted from my iPod mini when I deleted one playlist. Now I can't update my iPod, because iTunes says that all of the playlists selected no longer exist. Should I restore my iPod mini? I'm scared. Please help me. Thank you so much.

okay, so the other day my ipod all the sudden lost all of its 700 sum songs and all the music in my ipod library got deleted. but its still on my general computer. i have no idea how this happened.
i took my ipod [i pod touch] to best buy, where i bought it 6 months ago, and the geek squad person said that i need to update my software on the ipod and update itunes.geek squad updated my ipod while at best buy, but she told me that i need to update itunes on my computer and i should just be able to get my songs back onto my ipod. when i hooked my ipod up to my computer when i got home, i could not find where to update itunes. and nothing happened to my ipod.
i called bestbuy and re-told them the problem i was having. GS told me to first plug in my ipod to my computer [which i did] then sync the songs back onto my ipod.... that did no good.
then GS proceeded to tell me to just drag and drop the songs i want back onto my ipod, that are on my computer into my music library then re-sync my ipod..... once again this did not work. and my library is not locked so there is no reason as to why this should be happening. the GS person told me that he has never heard of anything like this and that he does not know what to do.

OMG......this just happened to me...except my library is still there. I've tried re-installing itunes, restarting, & everything. It still doesn't recognize my ipod. I updated my iTunes/iPod to the newest version since it keeps asking me everyday and when I did it, it erased all of my songs & apps. I admit, my iPod was jailbroken, so I had apps on it that I'm afraid I won't be able to get back. I avoided updating my iPod because I was scared that it was gonna erase my jailbroken apps off.....but someone told me that it was best to always update regardless. I didn't think it was gonna erase my music though....it was completely full too That's not such a big deal since it's still on my computer. The main prob. is that I can't put it back on. I've tried going back to an older version and it keeps telling me that the newest version is installed and that I'm not allowed to do that. When I try to go to the iTunes tab on my ipod, it doesn't go...the same with the videos & music tabs. The only thing that works on my iPod is Safari & youtube.

I downloaded an app that cost $7.99 and immediately realized that it was not functional the way I understood it to be. I deleted the app and now I wqould like to be reimbursed.

Apple did not do anything to solve this problem, they said I shoud apply to ITunes which I did. However, ITunes in Belgium does not even have a customer friendly call center, and they reply with standard info if you apply by e-mail which have no relevance to my problem. As I do not have hours to spend on the phone, I tasked my secretary to call Itunes many times. In the end, she found someone to look into the matter which took months.
Simultaneously, I applied to VISA through my bank for fraud investigation. I had to cancel my credit card. In the end, VISA paid my money back and they said they will deal with ITunes. I received a new credit crad from VISA with a new number. I tried to use this new card in the ITunes but ITunes did not accept my card because in their system my name has been registered as if I have commited the fraud! This was again outrageus! I have complained about this to both Belgium and the USA Apple/ITunes, but no satisfactory answer was given. I am now using my wife's credit card to buy smth I want in ITunes. But because of my very unpleasant experience I am not buying much on ITunes store. I am also considering to quit Apple all together. This is unfortunate because I have been an apple fan until I had this experience.

PPL, after I downloaded Nokia Software Update my mob (E90) lost all contacts from phonebook, all sms and language i was using before. Only pictures left.

Updating your phone to a new firmware erases all your phone data you should have taken a backup of all your phone information via pc suite, memory card or ovi suite now you are too late to realise i am sorry you cant get your phone data back, its clearly informed in the nsu that a backup is already done
