All songs in iTunes cloud not visible in iTunes

I'm having an issue and something has obviously been corrupted. On one of my PCs, none of the songs which are in the cloud are visible in my iTunes any longer. iTunes says that everything has been updated and is working properly but I have no access to those songs. And it's not that they're greyed out, they're completely gone and not visible. I've tried de/re-authorizing my computer, turn off/on itunes match, update itunes match, sign out of itunes altogether, uninstall/reinstalling itunes and lastly I moved the iTunes folder on my hard drive to somewhere else hoping that iTunes would rebuild its index. No luck with any of these solutions. When I turn off iTunes Match and then turn it back on, it does say I now have access to all 5000+ of my songs but when I go to the songs list, only the couple hundred songs which are on my hard drive are visible, nothing else. I know the songs are in the cloud; all my devices and other computers can fully access and play everything. I'm out of ideas, what else can I do to make iTunes Match update my library here because it thinks that everything's okay when it's not. Also, I need to get this working in the next week or so because my iTunes Match is due to renew and if I can't get this computer to access anything then there's no point for me to pay for iTunes Match when it no longer works. Thank you for your help.

i did get the message that it couldnt go to the ipod because it couldnt be found --- so i "located" the file in itunes, then they went on to the ipod. but i dont get that message any more, i also checked to see if there were songs unchecked and there arent
this is weird to me
any other suggestions?

A few real bad problems here!
1. I am running Itunes 12.0.1.26 on a PC with Windows 8.1 it's a Dell.
*after almost a year of trouble recovering all of my playlists that had gone missing due to an itunes error I was happy to find myself two days ago with itunes operational...all of my 10s of 1,000s of songs listed properly and all of my playlists appearing fine. Every song was there...itunes knew the location of each song.
BUT, now whenever I click on ANY song, itunes doesn't play it(I neither hear it nor does it appear in the top bar with the timeline moving)...this goes for ALL SONGS IN ITUNES - purchased from itunes, imported into itunes, other formats, same problem in all cases.
What I can tell you: The computer is authorized, this is not just an audio problem(system sounds is fine, headphones are fine, other programs sound is ok).
the only other thing I can say is that in recent months I get this error every single time I open ITUNES:
itunes has detected a problem with your audio configuration -
I click out of it and everything works fine, for months. I looked up how to resolve that error message appearing here and deleted quicktime and reinstalled. That is the only other recent change I have made here?
I would really , really appreciate any help on this! So frustrated with the volume of itunes errors...if this doesn't work I am going to take a week off from work and move my library to Google play or other! Thanks, PJ

I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues with iTunes; I know how frustrating that can be, especially if it was working fine just a short while ago. If none of your music is playing in iTunes, but you are not getting an error about iTunes being unable to locate the files, you may have an audio configuration issue (which would also support the error message you had been seeing). All songs from itunes do not show up on ipod

I am having trouble getting all my songs from itunes to my ipod. When in itunes if I click on my ipod it says all the songs are there, but when I try to find them on my ipod they are not there. If someone could help me out figuring why not all songs are loaded to my ipod that would be awesome... Thanks

Only if you are permitted to re-download it from the source. There's nothing we can suggest to help you. There is no undelete software, but there are a number of data recovery utilities like iPod Data Recovery Software | Lost / Deleted Data Recovery for iPod.

Ipod does not transfer all songs from itunes

I have the 80g ipod classic. I have 16,000 songs on itunes. when i go to setting on ipod and go to about it shows that i am missing 13 songs. for a while i was missing 5 songs then 9 songs and now 13.yes i still have room on my ipod for music. I do not have a clue what songs are not being transferred to my ipod. what is causing this and what is the solution.

yea i guess that could be possable. i guess with 16,000 songs and only 13 did not transfer to ipod i should be happy but this is mac not windows so i would like to think the soft ware would work without flaws.. as for all my dupes i put over 1500 cds in my itunes library. a lot of the cds were various artists etc. that is y i have so many dupes. my imac has a 500g hard drive so i have plenty of space left on my hard drive. i have 2 external hard drives where my music is backed up.i have a 1terrabit lacie that i just use for time machine and a 500g lacie to back up my music and other stuff. iwould never trust my music to be backed up on only 1 external hard drive. if it died my music would be gone forever. thats y i use 2 external hard drives

IPod Will not Transfer all Songs to iTunes

The iPod would only transfer some songs to iTunes when I pressed the tranfer purchases button. I lost alot of songs that I can't get back. This is very frustrating!!! Any help?

so then technically I can't transfer the songs off my ipod to my itunes library? since it is one 1 transfer from pc to ipod...correct? So when I synch my ipod the warning screen comes up and says "there are content not in the library, erase and synch library to Itunes, only purchased songs can transfer." Can I leave the songs on my ipod and when I purchase new songs to itunes I can still transfer those correct? while having the others on there that wont transfer?

All songs in iTunes uploaded but can't play them from Macbook

I've matched and uploaded all of my iTunes library to iCloud through iTunes Match. The problem that I have is that if I try to play a track from my Macbook I just get an error message saying:
'The Song ____ could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?'
Before I got iTunes Match I stored my library on an external HDD. Could this be the problem? And if so does anyone know how I can play my iTunes library from my Macbook without having to connect the external HDD?

Yes, the HDD is the problem.
You need to actually delete the songs from your library to stop iTunes from looking for the files on the HDD.
Select all your music in iTunes and delete it, making sure that you don't check the box saying to delete it from the cloud as well. Also make sure you choose to keep the original files (unless you have them backed up elsewhere).
Once you have done that the songs should stream from the cloud.

Ok, if you're wondering about an iOS device, there is no way to do that - you have to tap all of the cloud icons.
But I do have a workaround.
Store all the songs all locally on your Mac
Disable iTunes Match on your iOS device
Plug your iOS device into the computer (or this can be done with Wifi sync)
Sync all songs to your device
Now enable iTunes Match on your iOS device
You now have all songs stored locally on your iOS device and iTunes Match is enabled, so your metadata syncs over iCloud, and you no longer have to plug your device in to update its music library. :)

Can't download all songs in itunes onto iphone

I have 2255 songs in Itunes on my MacBook Pro. However, when I try to sync all my songs onto my iphone and ipad I end up being short by about 60 songs. I have indicated sync "Entire music library". Any ideas?

Have you authorized the computer yet to play purchases from the iTunes store? If not, head to the Store drop down menu and choose "Authorize computer."
If it is, try de-authorizing your computer, logging out, logging back in, and re-authorizing.

Exclamation point (!) beside all songs when itunes is started up

When I start up iTunes, and attempt to right click on a song, I get the message "can't find original file". When I finally get to the summary page of the song it shows "Where: Not Available". in preferences it shows the library in iTunes Music. Am I missing anything?

Are you talking about the Gird view? You can show your library the old way simply by changing to one of the other views. Menu item VIEW and then pick "As List" or "As Cover Flow" or simply click the icons to the right of the "currently playing" window.

I'd like to set the volume for all songs to +100. Can I just select all songs and then change it to +100?

Highlight all the songs in your library (ctrl+a, edit-->select all, etc.)
Now right click one of the songs, making sure that all remain highlighted, and go to get info. Click Yes to the message that pops up. You should be able to adjust the volume in that window. Click OK when you are done. The volume should now be adjusted for all songs.
