All tabs blank for session restore after software update

I just updated Firefox to the 34.0.5 version. After restarting, I did a restore previous session and what came up were the tabs but without any address info. They are all showing up as "New Tabs". Is there any way to get back my session with the tabs having the address data? Thank you.

Is it in Recovery mode? Are you seeing a screen that looks like this:

Have tried to change session restore after latest update

First, I'm a very novice user when it comes to anything related to Firefox. I have basic understanding of my profile, but certainly can't get into any code.
I've also looked at previous threads on this topic and have tried the solutions. Those have not worked. I have taken some screenshots to help describe what I have tried:
I went to this profile folder. In it, I changed "sessionstore.js" to "sessionstore.old". I then went into several of the subfolders, "sessions", "sessionbackups", and "sessionstore-backups". Each one had files which were timestamped from before this morning. I copied them, then pasted in the folder shown in the image, renaming to "sessionstore.js". When I did this, I had firefox closed. Each time I reopened firefox, and restored previous session, the session which restored was the one I opened this morning. Is there something about this newest update which I need to do differently? The session had 4 differnet windows with many tabs. The session deleted immediately after the newest update of Firefox.
And I don't have a lot of interest in going through my history to find all the tabs as they were opened over the course of a cpl weeks. I would open them, then go back for reference but not actually click on them.

Torch frozen on restore after software update

I updated my software wirelessly last night through software updates on the device. It went through the download process fine, but as soon as it went to "restoring your data" it froze at 37% overall progress(if im remembering correctly) it said at the time Brio Calorie Tracker 0%. So after several hours of it not changing from that % i did a hard reset as recomended in these forums. when going through the restore process again it froze at 2% overall progress and again 0% progress on Brio Calorie Tracker. Repeated hard resets have given me the same result. Last night I let it sit overnight for 8 hours and it did not budge or change in any capacity, still 0% Brio calorie tracker and 2% overall restore progress. I'm at the end of my rope here and have no idea what to do now. I've also tried connecting to blackberry desktop software, including while doing hard resets and it won't let me. It will just say on the device screen that I cant access anything on the device while a restore is in progress.

Well, that's a little more than I wanted you to do, but it's still a good thing. I was going to have you simply remove the application file for that calorie counter app, but now we'll have to do an OS reload.
Just go through with the following instructions to reload the device software:
Disconnect your device.
Download the most current OS for your device, which you'll find in the link below. It's a German website, but the download link is readily apparent.

On your PC, navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\AppLoader. Delete the file at the bottom called vendor.xml.
Connect your device.
In that same folder as above, there's an executable file called Loader (has a little phone next to it). Double click on that and it will start loading your OS.
Oh, I'd recommend you NOT reload that application again.

After today's software update my MacBook Pro won't start when the required restart is completed. I get to the "pre-login screen" where I type in my password, and then I end up at a screen saying I have to hold down the power button and then restart the computer. It also says "Unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\"...
What is there to do now? Will I lose everything on my harddrive if I reboot the computer completely?

Generate every hour event 2331 for each DP after Software update Deployment Package deletion

We have an organization build on SCCM 2012 R2 with 270 DPs configured with DP Pulls function. The centralized point contains DP sources available for all DP Pull.
We have some problems with Windows Update deployment package, and we decide to delete them. We first remove them from all DPs. After more than a month we delete the deployment package. From this day, we see that the SMS_Distribution_Manager service generate
every hour logs for contacting each of the 270 DPs to ask them for deleting the package.
Remark: At the time we run the delete, some of the DPs were not connected. After 3 weeks all of them were connected. A month later, the SMS_Distribution_Manager
generate always these events every hour.
Each DP responds with a 2331 event that seems OK. Every hour the system begin with two events (2301 and then 2300 for this package, after a 2331 for each
DP). All these events are also present in the application log of the Event Viewer. After the last DP connection that respond with 2331 event, there are no event that generalize a task for the package to definitively remove it from the database.
Could anyone help me to correct the system?

There are no error messages. There are only messages generated in Distribution_manager logs and Event Viewer, showing us server processing and network activity on package that was deleted over 40 days, and that happened every hours. The Microsoft support

At this time the correction has positive effect.

N95 Restore after software update

Hi, I've just updated my firmware on my N95 for the first time.
Before doing so it gave me the warning that I should backup all the data on my phones memory as I would lose it, which I did.
I then installed the new software, but when trying to restore my backup file, I came accross a problem. The restore gets to 68% everytime, but won't go any further. I even left it for 2 hours last night, but still no luck. So i've now lost all my contacts and texts! Has anyone else had a similar problem?

if you had your contacts stored on the sim card,those should be still intact, do you have the latest verion of the pc suite? did you try to shut down your computer and restart it again and give pc suite a try again? those maybe some obvious things, and no i have no better ideas for you at this time sorry

Iphone restore after software update

I've just updated my Iphone 3gs with the new IOS6 software. It all downloaded fine until the download finished and the phone restarted..the phone then restarted on factory settings and has now just restored from backup. Does this mean I'll have lost all my messages and things off my phone? Bit worried

Virtually ALL of the people who experience data loss during the upgrade process have experienced it because of user error.
If you failed to backup all of your data before attempting a major iOS upgrade then that is just plain foolish. Had you backed up all of your data as apple recommends, even if your phone blew up during the upgrade process, you would have been able to retrieve all your data with a brand new phone.

Ipod won't restore after software update

I was updating my daughter's iPod Touch last night with the new OS update. Everything downloaded smoothly, but when iTunes tried to restore her iPod, I got an error message that said there was a problem restoring the iPod. I have tried every single troubleshooting tip I could find and no luck. Is there anything that can be done without having to buy a new iPod? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just some more information: I keep getting the "Connect to iTunes" screen on the iPod, and when I try to connect to iTunes, the iPod is not recognized at all. I have also tried the trick of holding in the Power and Home buttons at the same time; no luck.

Keyboard stops working for the finder after software update 10.5.7

It is working for any other application, but in the finder I cant use any shortcut, quick view, rename files etc...
I have tried rebooting and for a couple of minutes it was working fine, but then it stop working again.
I have also try repairing permissions with DiskUtility ands running scripts with Cocktail, but the problem remains the same.
Any ideas?

ISO 5 HELP RESTORING AFTER SOFTWARE UPDATE iPHONE

ive downloaded iso 5 and backed up my iphone 4 etc and while the update is on my phone, its taking me through the steps of 'location services' wifi networks' 'set up iphone' - 3 options - im trying to restore from itunes and nothing is happening, it just says on itunes 'backing up step 1 of 5' and goes super quick and nothing happens, also my photos, videos, apps etc are no longer visable on itunes. My phone is stuck with the connect to itunes logo while in itunes it recognises the phone, but the iphone is locked on that screen.

Try doing a hard reset of the phone. Hold the power and home button in together until the apple logo comes on and then let go. That should get you out of the 'connect to itunes' screen and back into the phone. I suggest then trying to connect again.

And....that's your question? How to restore the apps? Sync your iPad with iTunes and the apps should be restored to your device. Or go to the purchased tab of the App Store and tap on Not on this iPad and download them again.
Did you restore from a backup after you updated? Can you provide any information at all?

It is possible that there is a problem with the files [http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js sessionstore.js] and sessionstore.bak in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder]
Delete [http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js sessionstore.js] and sessionstore.bak in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder]
* Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note).

Yes it works again now after; I uninstalled Raport by Rapport utility, cleaned Rapport folders in system, re-installed the latest Rapport, activated at system preference, re-stated computer and then re-launched Firefox 9.0.1!

If you have been regularly syncing/backing up your iPhone with iTunes or iCloud, you may try restoring it from the last backup.
