All Tags Lost

I just moved all of my events to an external hard drive directly in the iMovie interface. And in the process iMovie has forgotten all of the tags...or they didn't get copied. Each and every one is gone. I can't believe that iMovie doesn't copy tags along with the clips. Does anyone know how to get these back?
I have hundreds of clips and had spent hours tagging each, so that I can find them when I need to work on them. For reference, I'm out of hard drive space and have purchased an external drive and just moved all of the events.

So I have looked at this a little bit more. I think this is a bug in iMovie, I can recreate it over and over again. It's the oddest thing.
Setup: Open iMovie with an external drive plugged in. Select an event that has favorites and/or keywords tagged in it.
1. When I drag a drop (copy) an event to the external drive in iMovie the event is copied. The favorites and keyword tags remain intact.
2. When I hold control and drag a drop (move) an event to the external drive in iMovie the event is moved. The favorites and keyword tags disappear.
I have compared the event I copied with the event I moved. They are the same size and have the same number of files. However, if I open up the iMovie data file in each of them, they are signifigantly different. I'm speculating this is where the tags are stored. The one that is copied has a lot more lines in it than the one that was moved.

I'm not sure but it sounds a lot like the question I posed to the forum a little later today. It may be that the newer versions of PSE are not compatible with transfering all the Categories, Sub Categories and Tags from versions up to PSE 10. I am presently using PSE 10 because I couldn't figure out how to save all the organization I have put into Elements over the past 10 years or so.
I'm hoping for an answer to my question.

In the newest version of firefox I cannot find the show all tags in bookmarks. Where is it?

Hi. When I look under bookmarks, there used to be something I could click on that said show all tags, so I could find things. Now all I see is recent tags. Where can I find ALL my tags? I have spent so much time clicking on things and looking, but this new version is very confusing. Please help! Trying to plan a trip and cannot find all my TRIP tags! Thanks so much

Sorry to hear you lost that.
In the Library dialog, there is a section for tags. You can open that using either:
* Command+Shift+b
* Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks
To create something like that on your Bookmarks menu or Bookmarks toolbar, you need to create a "smart" bookmark folder. The nice feature is that it breaks out your "all tags" by the tag, so there's less scanning through the list.
(1) Select and copy this places query:
place:type=6&sort=1
(2) In the Library dialog, create a new bookmark on the Bookmarks Menu or Bookmarks Toolbar. Click the relevant location, then either:
* right-click > New Bookmark
* Organize menu > New Bookmark
(3) In the Name, enter a query description such as Alpha Tags
(4) In the Location, paste the places query
(5) Click Add.
(6) If you get a dotted rectangle instead of a blue folder icon: drag the new bookmark to another location, e.g, a folder, the Bookmarks Toolbar, etc., within the Library dialog. This forces Firefox to recognize it as a query-type bookmark. The icon should change from the dotted rectangle to the blue search folder icon. Then you can drag it back to your preferred location.
After that, it should work from your Bookmarks menu or Bookmarks toolbar (wherever it ended up) just like the Tags section of the Library dialog.

All catalogues lost in PSE7?

Last fall I transferred 1000+ photos into PSE7, edited and catalogued and tagged them. After being away for some months, I transferred today my 200 or so new photos. I was required to accept adobe's "terms & conditions", which seemed odd. I accepted.
The new group of photos transferred fine into a new catalogue; however, otherwise all my other catalogues, so painstakingly done last were, were gone. ALL GONE! No one has been near the computer, and I know I didn't delete everything.
Any good ideas?? Help!

Alas, I don't show a "Show all" button anymore. That doesn't sound like good news.
I think I've tried every button ... but there seems to be nothing there.
Just doesn't make sense.
I note we were away for three months, and had unhooked the computer and put it away for safety. Absolutely everything else is still there!
Fortunately I believe I still have all, or most, of the photos in their original state; eg unedited, untagged and uncatalogued. Many hours of work lost?
It is a mystery, but if you have any more thoughts they would be appreciated.

Just a quick double check that you clicked the Show All button near the top left of your grid of new images.
Upon importing a new batch of photos, the PSE Organizer only shows you the newly imported photos. To show everything that's in the Catalog, you'll need to click Show All.
Hopefully it's something as simple as that.

Thank you so much for providing the details about the duplicate song issue you are experiencing. It sounds like you would like to remove the duplicate songs that will not play on your iPhone, but when you connect it to iTunes, iTunes only shows you one copy of the song on your iPhone.
In this situation, I recommend deleting the individual songs that do not play directly from your iPhone. I found the steps to do this on page 61 of the iPhone User Guide (http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf):
Delete a song from iPhone: In Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete.

I haven't gotten a new sim card because the problem has been presenting itself in various cards not only mine. So far, all I've done is reset my network settings.
Last night, I turned off the 3G tab and it had all the signal bars. Today, I did the network reset and it's working apparently. But like I said before, previously the bars just disappear and the iphone only has the 3G activated.

I got the new iPhone5 back in Dec, I hooked it up to my computer for the 1st time this wk. It deleted all new data added since Dec (notes,contacts,texts,pics, info in apps) and reverted back to all my old data. How can I retrieve all the lost data??

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"

How to display all tagged photos from the whole catalogue?

Hi,
I have been googleling around, but have not found the right information. I am trying to find all my tagged photos of all imported photos, but it would only show the tagged photos from a specific folder when I select that specific folder or from the timeline, in which I already knew that some tagged photos belong in those folders.
My question is...how can I search tagged photos from the whole catalogue without going through the timeline or clicking each folder and subfolder to view them. I would like that the organizer display all tagged items from all my folders and subfolders at once.
Sorry if this has been answered and I was not able to find the right forum or information.

id:<h:outputText value="#{yourBean.yourBeanValue}" /> html tags are not saved in your faces context, these tags are in your page, the page that is rendered. In your faces context you will have a representation view of the JSF components of your page, in this case, the component created from <h:outputText>, and the <h:form>.

It depends...
If you are still on the same computer and OS, the Organizer in PSE11 (or PSE12) will be able to convert the old catalog to its own format, while keeping the old catalog unchanged.
If you are changing computer, drive or OS, the best method is via a full backup and restore:

Vor kurzen bin ich von Photoshop Elements 8 auf Photoshop Elements 13 umgestiegen. Ich verwenden v.a.den Organizer zum Verwalten und Sortieren aller meiner Fotos.
Als nun einen neuenn Katalog anlegen wollte, kam eine böse Überraschung beim Übernhemen von Tags: Ich wollte alle Tags und v.a. die Tag-Hierarchie aus einem alten (konvertierten) Katalog in den neuen, unter PSE 13 erstellten Katalog übernehmen. Dabei musste ich feststellen, dass die Funktion "Stichwort-Tgas in Datei speichern" nur die "Stichwort-Tags" abspeichert, aber nicht die "Ort-Tags", Personen-Tags" und "Ereignis-Tags". Ich habe auch keine Funktion zum separaten Exportieren dieser Tags gefunden.
Wenn ich mit PSE 8 meine Tags exportieren, sind alle enthalten. Auch die, die PSE 13 beim konvertieren in "Ort-Tags", Personen-Tags" und "Ereignis-Tags" umgewandelt hat. Wenn ich diese xml-Datei nun in den neuen Katalog importiere, dann erscheinen sie allerdings alle als "Stichwort-Tags" und die Rubriken "Ort-Tags", Personen-Tags" und "Ereignis-Tags" bleiben leer.
1) Wie kann ich im neuen Katalog am besten meine alte Hierarchie wiederherstellen?
2) Wir kann ich künftig die gesamte Tag-Hierarchie einschließlich "Ort-Tags", Personen-Tags" und "Ereignis-Tags" von einem Katalog in einen anderen übernehmen?
Falls es keine Lösung gibt: Warum macht Adobe das und entwertet einfach die über Jahrzehnte (bei mir seit 2004) aufgebauten Katalog- bzw. Tag-Strukturen?
