All text turns into mappable characters

I downloaded the Outside In Content Access API and I see the same behavior in tademo.exe and my applications. When I try to process a text file, TAReadFirst() and TAReadNext() both return strings containing nothing but asterisks. I understand that the asterisk is coming from SCC_UNMAPPABLECHAR, but I don't understand why the characters aren't mappable in the first place. Why can't TAReadFirst() and TAReadNext() process ASCII text?

Arabic text turns into #####

Hello all,
I have checked a thread having this problem but the solution is not given so I had to open a new thread.
I have an arabic smartform and at the preview level all is ok and arabic text is appearing very well, but when printed, the text turns to ####### on the printted paper. I tried to print some arabic text using MS Word editor to check that the printter supports arabic and arabic was printed correctly which means that the problem is within SAP, in particular, printter setting.
so can you please help in how to setup the printter setting in SAP to allow printing arabic?

When I forward mail with attachments, all signatures turn into attachments

When I forward an email that contains a signature from the sender, and I add an attachment, the entire signature turns into an attachment when the recipient is using Outlook .
Is there a way around this?
I have tried Plain and Rich text settings, as well as all of the attachment settings.
Attachment Tamer isn't working since I upgraded to Yosemite.

All programs turned into itunes after download

I recently downloaded Itunes 10.5 onto my HP laptop running windows 7. After the download was complete, all of my icons turned into itunes. Example: when I clicked on skype, Itunes opened. I uninstalled Itunes and restarted my laptop and everything was back to normal. How can I download Itunes without it messing up my laptop again?

Text turns into exe?

A coworker of mine said she was having issues that when making a text file, when she saves it to the desktop, all is normal. But then if she transfers it to her external hard drive, she says that it turns it into a exe file of a substantially larger size.
What could that be?

French accents turn into Chinese characters

I'm using Chrome browser on ML, which is all good, but when I read French documents online, sometimes the accents get replaced by Chinese characters. How do I avoid that? I have set Chinese followed by French and last English as my languages of preferences, which I intend to keep. Also, the same thing happens in Safari as well.

How to merge All text fiels into 1 text file to read into internal table

I have 3 text files in workstation. I need to everytime download these files in my internal table .
But it takes long processing time .ie everytime it opens file read and close.
Do u suggest for better performance for this? Like how i can meage all txt files in 1 txt file and then read once ito internal table.

i) Are you downloading these to your presentation server from application server using WS_DOWNLOAD(I am using 4.5B) or CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES=>GUI_DOWNLOAD ?
ii) What holds you back ?
b) How do we parse multiple files contained in a single file ?
Keep a delimiter which is unique only for file endings. That should do the trick.

Open Sans is available as an Edge Web font.
Which section of the Font menu did you select Open Sans from? If it was selected from the "System Fonts" section of the font menu then it will output as an image. To use the Web Font version, click "Add Web Fonts..." in the font menu then choose "Open Sans" from the available Edge Web Fonts.

Previous saved tabs turned into blank pages. Firefox.

Hi, I've been using Firefox for a long time and have set it to 'Restore Previous Session' setting. But earlier today as I open Firefox, all of my previous tabs have turn into new tabs instead (blank pages). The amount of tabs I had still remain the same just that they've all been turn into new tabs. I still have the list of websites I've visited in my History but my previous tabs are all saved throughout the year and I've cleared my history before. I would really appreciate anyone's help in getting back my old tabs. Thank you and regards.

Ai file turned into DXF doesnt transfer correctly when opened in CAM software.

Hi please can anyone help. I am trying to create a DXF which can be used with CAM software. The file looks fine in Ai and even CAD software but loses all definition, turning into a black blob, when opened in CAM software. There are shapes within the outline which need cutting out and the DXF file shows intersections where these are. Are these intersections part of the problem? Thank you very much!

What's the worst that I've spent 100 Eur alltogether for GPS map based applications for several sports - golf, bike, ski, etc. These applications use data from iPhone Map application and its disaster after my update onto iOS 6. These are pictures of 2 of my favorit golf resorts:
