All the devices in our home are in my name, yet everyone has a different email iD, why are we seeing each other's mail?

I purchased all the devices in my name. When I set up iCloud, though everyone has a different email account, everyone is getting my mail because iCloud is under my name. My wife has a different email account with ".me" she can see my email and hers when she clicks on "iCloud." What must I do so that we both have access to iCloud and we can see only each other's mail? This gets tricky if she accidentally deletes messages of mine which just occurred.
Do we need to open her up a separate iCloud account? How would I take the MAC that I purchased for her and register it in her name so iCloud knows that it is her?
I really appreciate you help on this one.

Im in desperate need of help, I really need it for class tomorrow. Please help me¿!?

    Hello,
Sounds like the connection is bad between the plug and the iPad. Perhaps the pins might be bent or damaged if that's the case take it in for a genius bar appointment. You can also try a hard reset in case the iPad just crashed and is not completely dead. Sometimes ios devices crash really bad and require you to hold the sleep/lock button and home button for about 1 min. Hope that helps!

  • Why does the itunes wifi show it is connected to my PC for all the devices we have when my husband has his own Apple ID, since we updated to Icloud with our own ID's

since upgrading to Icloud, all the devices in our house show in Itunes Wifi they are all linked to my PC, although we have set them up with our own individual accounts, my husband is unable to sync his Iphone, Ipod & ipad to the music in his itunes, as it wants to connect to mine any one any ideas

You can continue to use the current AppleID for iTunes, but your husband can create a new AppleID to use to create a new iCloud account that will be his own and not overlap with yours.  If you do not have another email address to use for an AppleID, just get a free Gmail account and use that.
You can have as many AppleIDs as you want (or at least, as many as you have email addresses for).  You can use a separate AppleID for the store, another for iCloud, and even another for iMessage if you wish.
You will want to keep the current one as the shared one for the store as all your previous purchases are permanently tied to it, and thus you need that AppleID to update or redownload your current purchased content.

You can each have your own ID for your own iTunes accounts, but in order for a device to stream via AirPlay to the same Apple TV, everything must use the same homesharing ID. This is not the same as your iTunes account ID (although it can be for one of the devices)

  • My iMac holds my main iTunes account.  How do I find out a list of all the devices that are authorized from this computer?

My iMac holds my main iTunes account and it shows 4 devices are authorized to play iTunes.  I can only name 3.  How do I find out a list of all the devices that are authorized from this computer?

I don't believe this is possible, but you can deauthorize all your computers and start over if you are concerned.
    See here
    Best of luck

  • My wife and sons iphone 5 and my other sons iPod shows up as offline on my phone but all the devices including my phone shows up on theirs. What's wrong?

As the title says, it used to work fine. Only yesterday when I tried to find my son I noticed that all devices was offline. When he came home I checked his phone and I could see all the devices on my account. The only thing I've downloaded was a app voltage mail do I could read a secure email sent from the hospital. I've tried restarting, resetting, turning location off and on. When I remove the device and restart find my phone all the devices are listed again.

The fact that the problem only occurs when iphones are texting you leads me to think that iMessage may be the culprit. The fact that it is only iphones using SPRINT however is weird. Try turning imessage off on both yours and your sons phones to see if the problem persists. If it does, it may be a carrier problem.

  • Do all the computers on a home sharing network have to be either wired or wireless?

Trying to allow the following to use home sharing:
Mac mini 2012 (wired and wireless)
    MBP 13" 2011 (wireless only)
    MBP 15" 2012 (wireless only)
    Apple TV 2013 (latest update)
All computers running Yosemite 10.10.1 and iTunes 12.0.1.26
iTunes on the Mini can see both of other shared libraries on the MBPs
iTunes on the MBPs can see each other's shared libraries but not that on the Mini.

    Hello!
So the issue is with Mac Mini's ability to transmit it's Home Sharing around.
Change the Mac Mini's computername is System Preferences > Sharing. Restart your Mac Mini via  > restart.
After restarting, make sure Home Sharing is still enabled in the Mac Mini's iTunes. Did that solve it?
    If not, continue.
we trash the /sc info/ folder using the Terminal command below:
Open a Terminal window - for example by searching for the word terminal via Spotlight (the magnifying glass in the top right corner of your computer display) - and copy-paste the line below (to prevent typing mistakes):
        sudo rm -Ri /Users/Shared/SC\ Info/
Enter your password after pressing return. Note that your will not see that you're typing, so no stars or dots like: *** You'll have to enter the password blindly and press return once you’re finished.
After doing this, restart your computer, open iTunes and authorize one last time.
For your education, so you know what we’re doing: this /sc info/ folder stores your authorizations. So deleting the folder and restarting the Mac will force a fresh version to be created. This fresh version will not have any of the errors or corruptions which are probably causing this issue.
    Issue solved?

  • Download drivers for all the devices

I have installed Win 2008 R2 using Bootcamp, I found the windows device manager showing generic microsoft drivers been used for display and also there are unrecognized devices.
    I am using iMac 27".
Where can I download device drivers for all the devices? I assume Windows 7 64bit drivers must be compatible for Win 2008.
    Thanks.

I am not an expert on all devices but I can tell you that while you can use a single username/password to access all devices you can't have a "generic" set of rules. AAA services operate different based on the model/platform. For example, the ASAs, WLCs and Nexus devices are completely different when compared to the standard IOS routers and switches. You can sync as many devices as you want to the same iTunes account, there is no limit. You can have the same content on each device or different content, the choice is yours. iTunes will keep everything straight, by device, including separate backups. I'd suggest giving each device a unique name, to make things easier.

I sync my iphone with my office computer, but what I really would like to do is syncing only the calendars (because my secretary uses them to set up new apppointments), but syncing all the rest on my home computer. Is it possible without losing apps or music?

    Although not recommended, yes.
Disable automatic syncing when the iPhone is connected with iTunes on each computer.
The only item you will have selected for syncing with iTunes on your computer at work will be Calendars, which is selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes. Nothing else will be selected under the various tabs for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes on your computer at work. You will get a warning message that your iPhone is associated with another iTunes library on a different computer which you can ignore when syncing calendars/calendar events only with iTunes on your computer at work.

  • (Documents in the Cloud) Not all the docs to all the devices

I guess the answer is no, but I would like to ask anyway...
Is there any way to stop the automatically download of certain synced documents in one of my devices?
i have some documents in the cloud and I want all of them in one device but I don't want all of them in another. But if I delete one document this is deleted in icloud and in all the devices.
It will be valid too to be able to hide documents or be able to save some in iCloud and some on the devices itself (don't sync at all), same way I can configure a calendar in iCloud and others on the ipad.
    Thanks

It depends on which app you're using. Some apps let you save a local file to iCloud and at the other end (on another device), you have the choice to download it or not. Other apps save all files to iCloud and sync them all to other devices.
