All the images from the webpages i visited was displayed with poor quality
i have been using firefox for a long time this is the first time i'm experiencing an issue with firefox. i'm using firefox ver.37 with windows 7. i have tried all the settings in the firefox but no use. I'm also used the google chrome but it too have same problem
It is possible that your ISP sends images compressed to speed up the transfer and adds a JavaScript to each page to make it possible to see images in the original quality.
If you want to see the original image quality all the time then you need to contact your ISP and ask what to do to opt-out of that service or see if there is a FAQ about it on the web page of your ISP.

Aperture does not recognize that there are images to be imported on an SD card. My workaround is to copy the images from the SD card to a folder and then import the images from the folder. Aperture also imports incredibly slowly after the update to 3.4
Check your Import settings in the Import Panel, i.e. all that might exclude the image type you want to import:
If you did not exclude any file types, and still Aperture will not import, remove your ImageCapture preferences fro your user library:
To remove the image capture preferences:
If Aperture is running, quit Aperture, and log off and on again.
Open your user library from the Finder's Go menu: Hit Command Shift G (⌘⇧G) and then type in: ~/Library/Preferences/ then hit return.
In the window that opens remove "com.apple.ImageCapture.plist"
and look into the subfolder "ByHost": if there are files named com.apple.ImageCapture something .plist remove them too.
then try again.
And if that still does not help, remove the Aperture preferences as well:
~/Library/Preferences/aperture.plist

P.S. in MacOS Lion and later the user library ~/Library is hidden by default.
You can reveal it also from the Finder's "Go" menu:
Finder > Go, then hold down the options ⌥ key, until the Library appears in the drop-down menu, select it and open the Library folder. Then go to the "Preferences". -
I have my camera (Canon 5D Mark 2) set to take both JPEG Large and Raw files with each shot. I uploaded the images from the card to my Pro (Aperture 3) and while the import info said 1500 images were uploaded, I can't find the RAW images. Aperture put about 700 images in an untitled project folder, but all the images are the JPEGs. What am I missing?

upsjdrisHave you checked your "Import" settings for "Raw&Jpeg" pairs in the "Import" panel?
You can set Aperture to import raw, jpeg, or raw&jpeg.
If you imported Raw&Jpeg, but have set Aperture to use the Jpeg as original, you will see the imported image as Jpeg image, not as a raw image, even if the raw has also been imported. You can switch between Raw and Jpeg originals for selected images from the Photos menu:
Photos > Use Raw as original.

There is an example in oracle db. Use the schema PM (Print Media).
Select the corresponding table that contains the column AD_PHOTO.
In your RTF template simply to print the image stored in the db use:
<fo:instream-foreign-object content-type="image/jpg"> <xsl:value-of select="AD_PHOTO"/>
</fo:instream-foreign-object>
RUn the RTF template and it should show you all.

When mirroring, is it possible to get the image from the ipad to fill the screen on the TV instead of appearing as a screen within a screen?

No, the iPad has an aspect ratio of 4:3, a TV has an aspect ratio of 16:9, to fit one into the other is impossible without distorting the picture. If your TV has a zoom feature, you may be able to use this to fill the screen a little more to your liking, but this will result in cropping top and bottom. -
I am downloading from a Canon 650d TO Photoshop CS5.1 and Adobe Bridge CS5.1 Do i need to download a DNG convertor? if so how do i get the images from the camera to the convertor?
Please check the list yourself and co,mare the necessary CR version with the one your version of Photoshop utilizes.

After downloading some 60 images from camera to iPad, I was "scrolling" down to select the last images, and inadvertently touched the "Delete" button that appears at the top right of the screen, when the "Select" option is chosen. I did not notice the warning "Delete 60 Images?", and continued scrolling down, when my finger touched the warning message. All my precious images were instantly deleted from the camera The sensitive touch screen feature makes this a real problem. Apple should "fix" this unacceptable feature, surely! I suggest that the images on the camera memory card should not be able to be deleted from the iPad, and this shpuld require to be done using the camera controls only. Similarly, the "Delete" or "Keep" options that appear after importing a selection from the camera, should NOT allow the images on rthe camera to be deleted, but only the imported (downloaded) images on the iPad. This unnecessary option could easily delete precious images from the camera!
Apple should remove the option to delete images from the camera, and the iPad touch screen commands should olny delete images on the iPad. (Alternatively, the "delete option should be on a separatly accessed "page".)
Surely enough users of the "Lightning to USB Camera Adapter" will agree with the above?No, I don't agree. Whenever you connect a camera to a computer you are given the opportunity to delete the photos on the camera after downloading in precisely the same way the iPad does this. The fact that you touched Delete and then ignored the Warning doesn't change anything.
I've loaded thousands of photos on my IPad and never have had that problem.

I currently have a issue with my iPhoto & iPhone, i apologize if this is the incorrect area for assistance.
My iPhoto library has been synced with my iphone all my images/photos are saved onto the phone, but i want to put them back onto my Mac, unfortunately my iphoto library has been deleted (actual file). is there any way to achieve this?
i have tried syncing the photos but i believe it will delete them, and update with my current library (no images).
i have also tried to take the images off via iphoto & image capture but they only take newly taken images not the photos in the old library stored on my iphone.
i am using an iPhone 4S, Macbook Pro 2010 & current version of iPhoto.
Please advise if there is any way to move an iphoto library from iphone to mac.

Troubles in editing the images from the organiser

I have a problem: when I see a picture in the organiser and I make a right click to open it in the editor, the editor starts but then there's no image, the screen is sadly green. How do I get my picture back ?

Look s like the editor preferences are soliled. Please reset them. To do so , hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift when you launch Editor from the welcome screen (the splash screen that you see having two tabs Organizer and Editor). You will be prompted if you want to delete the settings file. You do. Click Yes and proceed. See if it works for you now. Are able to view the image in editor after opening from Organizer now ?

Safari doesn't display jpg when accessing the image from the browser
This is weird and very annoying. As soon as I click on an image to display it, Safari starts loading it and as soon as it's completely downloaded, it disappears.
For instance, when I click this link (http://www.digitaltrends.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/lg3d_oled500x375.jpg) I see the image appearing gradually and then when it's fully uploaded everything disappears and I'm staring at a white page. I can view it fine when it's embedded in the page, but not when I'm trying to open it.
I already reseted Safari (cleared cache, etc.) deleted the plist file and the webicon file in Library/Safari. Nothing works and I have no idea what to do... Help!!!Ok.. so it's just limited to your account and not a system wide issue. That's a good thing.
Since you are running 10.5.8, make sure Safari is not running in Rosetta.
Right or control click the Safari icon in your Applications folder then click Get Info. In the Get Info window click the black disclosure triangle so it faces down. Where you see Open using Rosetta... make sure that is NOT selected.
Quit Safari. Go to ~/Library/Safari and move the Downloads.plist file to the Trash. Relaunch Safari and try again. -
Pull the data from legacy System into report and display with SAP data

I have over 100 photos, the unedited version of those photos is the only item that downloads onto Shutterfly or my computer. The Apple solution is to email each individual photo (over 100 of them) to yourself & then copy them to your computer? Really? This is the Iphone 5s, isn't it supposed to have great technology? It can't even recognize the photos on my iphone are all edited? Who has time to email over 100 vacation photos to get them correct? That is beyond acceptable from Apple.

Some URL's does not return any bytes, The code is not totally broken. In such cases, my code is hanging off at that particular URL and waiting to get some output data from the URL. The execution does not proceed furthur But if the URL is a totally broken link, the code is throwing an exception and I am able to handle it successfully.
But in the case of partially broken links, I am not able to go furthur because the code keeps waiting to get some data.
So for this reason I want to setup a timer and tell the code to wait for 5-10 min, in that time if it does not get any data, proceed furthur to download other links...
Please tell me how can I do this.. or plzzz tell me an alternative...

Display image from the save link in the field
Hi all,
I have a image link that saved in a column and will like this picture to be displayed once user is click on the image link in the tabular format.
However, now I am facing the problem to perform query of the record because one of the field type is image or ole. However, if I changed the image link to normal text item. I am able to perform query search on the record. My question is, can I click on the record whenever I want to see the image from the tabular form ? I prefer tabular form as I can see a lot of records in one sort. But for the image display, I will like user to clock on the specific link in order to open up the image.
Will this possible ?

LimIf you are saving the image path in table not the image then why don't you use the READ_IMAGE_FILE built-in (see forms help).
What i mean is hide the actual item which is having the image location. Just create one image item from toolbar (non-database) and create one extra button in the same block to display the image then use the READ_IMAGE_FILE built-in as below in WHEN-BUTTON-PRESS-TRIGGER...
READ_IMAGE_FILE(:path_item_name,NULL,'image_item_name');
Preferred way would be to save the image in database then query in your form using database image.

How do i store and fetch image from the Database(Access)
i am facing one problem in inserting the image into the database.the steps i followed as
1)i have created one database(access) as "Image" and into that one table as "Image" and field as "image"
type of the field is ole object.
2)i have inserted one image into the image field through "database.vi"
3)now i am trying to get the image from the database by "Fetching Example.vi"
4)it will succesfully retrieve the image from that field .
5)but when i close the both programs and reopen those that time i am unable to get retrieve the image.

I was working on Medical Imaging Company. The way we save the images in real-time was by writing the name and path of the images to database.
The images themselves where saved directly to disk.
I don�t think that access is very good in taking care of GBytes of data.
It happens some time that the database gets damage. If you have the images separately you can create fix procedure. (We had one).
