All the pictures are in bad resolution

I updated the OS to the latest one and now all the pictures that I took with other cameras and download to teh iPhone are in BAD low resolution. Can I fix that or do I need to download all of them again?
I have iPhone 3Gs.

Uncheck the photo sync option in iTunes and sync
Re-check it and sync again.

HT1386 I deleted all my photos in the Camera Roll folder,I created separate folders containing all my pisctures. When I sync my iPhone it shows that all the pictures are loaded. But nothing displays on my phone?

I need some advice. I had about 9000 pitures and photos in my camera roll folder.
I wanted to manage all these pictures into separate folders for easier access.
I imported all the pictures onto my pc, and created and managed the pics.
I synced the phone and excluded the photos,as advised on the site.
The I disconnected the phone, connected again and included the pictures.
On the coclour tab it indicates that all the pictures are there, after syncing,
but on my phone, nothing appears.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there another way of importing my pictures
onto the phone and keeping the separate folders?

If you don't find an iTunes backup as suggested above, another possibility is that the phone was setup to automatically back up to iCloud. You can go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage to see if your device name is listed there. If it is, the section titled "How do I restore an iCloud Backup if my device is already set up for use?" in the following link gives directions on how to resore it: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4036
Also, I'm sorry to hear you lost 5 years of pictures. Having them in one place (as you unfortunately found out) is not a good idea as all kinds of things can happen including loss of the phone. If you have a computer it is a good idea to periodically import them to the computer where you can see that they have successfully transferred to a second location. David, have you enabled the "Autoflow" options? There are settings behind the cogwheel, that will automatically place unused images onto new pages. If you only want to select a few images from a large project, disable these two options:
Or start your book froman album, that only contains a selection of your images, rather than from the whole project.

My iPhoto stopped working! All the pictures are gone from it. How can I fix this?

It just is a gray screen with the loading circle in the middle. I reloaded the software that came with my computer and nothing happened. I have a macbook pro It is only a year old so I do not know why it just doesn't work. I tried everything i could find to fix it but nothing works please help!!

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

If the photos that were on your iPad mini were synced from another computer, you erased them by syncing with your Mac. They are gone now and cannot be retrieved unless you sync them back using the other computer. If you do that, then you will erase the iPad again and replace the contents on ot with the contents of the iTunes library on the second computer.
You can only sync with one computer at a time. There are other ways to share photos from other comouter's and devices. Ask whoever synced the photos onto your mini to provide you with a flash drive with the photos on them, copy them to your Mac and then sync them using iTunes on your Mac.

Did you try rebooting the iPad? You will need to have some battery power for this.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Not all selected pictures are shared in album sharing in Photostream

I am trying to share an album with my friends on photostream. After i selected the album, added the friends, and waited for ever to upload the pictures, I realized that not all the pictures are available on the shared album. So i had to go back again and check the photos one by one to see what has been uploaded and what is missing to reupload them manually. This can get very tiring in large albums.
I guess mmy question is this:
Why is it doing that ? and how can i avoid such behaviour?
Is there a way that i can monitor / check the photos uploaded to make sure that the full album is there online ?

These sharing limits are separate from the upload limits above. For example, in the same day you could upload 10,000 photos to My Photo Stream and then share those 10,000 photos, or 10,000 other photos.Some additional limits for Shared Photo Stream usage:
Maximum shared streams an owner can share: 100
Maximum shared streams a user can subscribe to: 100
Maximum subscribers per shared stream: 100 (the number of subscribers on each shared stream)

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. I have Iphoto '09, version 8.1.2 (424). I am having an identical problem. All my pictures are imported into Iphoto when I downloaded them from my camera. Until recently, I thought that the pictures were actually saved in the library. Since I need to crop my pictures for the web, and Iphoto doesn't do that, I purchased Photoshop Elements to do that. To my surprise, when I try to get a picture from Iphoto to Photoshop, it can't be done. That was when I realized, after wasting a lot of time, that the photos are not in the Iphoto library.
I started naming the pictures on Iphoto so I had a recognizable file name to open on Photoshop. Couldn't find it. I looked in the Backup folder and the Transfer software folder (I have a Nikon camera), and the names I entered in the Iphoto display, could not be found.
When I am trying to upload a photo to the web, I get the Finder folder showing with an active folder called "Photos" under "Media", which only displays Iphoto and PhotoBooth. This is a folder name that I cannot find in my HD anywhere when I look for it. If I edit a picture with Photoshop, I am not going to save it back to Iphoto (not sure whether it will work properly). How do I get my folder of edited photos to show when I want to upload a picture to the web?

Luckily, using the "Find My iPhone" app, I was able to scare the thieves into bringing my iPhone back to the place they stole it from (Dave and Busters..on my BIRTHDAY OF ALL DAYS). So now, $169 later (deductible for replacement iPhone), I have both my 1st iPhone and my replacement. On my first iPhone, I have all of my pictures saved and they are very clear, but when I restored my replacement iPhone from my original iPhones iCloud backup, all the pictures that I took in my original iPhone are blurry! I thought about backing up my original iPhone through iTunes and then resetting my replacement iPhone and restoring it from my original iPhones settings but I dont want to lose all of my new pictures I took. I know this sounds confusing (well, it looks confusing, since you cant actually hear me) but I could use all the help I can get!

No such thing has occurred. iPhones do not backup to one another.
It is not possible to backup a different iPhone from the one being updated.
If the iPhone was restored with a backup from a different device, restore it again from the correct backup.
