All the user are Workspace Administrator

Hi,
when i create a user through ##> Home -> Administration -> Users -> Create user
with these features:
User is a workspace administrator: NO
User is a developer:      NO
Application Builder Access : NO
SQL Workshop Access      : NO
Team Development Access      : NO
and then, when i see the account type appears: Workspace Administrator, and when i log-in with the user, appears the admin toolbar(cache, session, debug, etc)

appears the admin toolbar(cache, session, debug, etc)This is the Developer Toolbar. Nothing to do with workspace administration.
It appears in applications when you are logged in to the Application Builder in the same browser session. It will not appear if you log in as an ordinary user in a different browser session.

Hello All-
All the users are able to access all the queries in all the query areas and infoset irrespective of the user group setting. even though the users don't have access to a particular infoset they are able to access and execute the queries in them and also edit them.
Please advice if there is a setting that is set at the client level or any other setting. We are in ECC 5.0 recently upgraded from 4.6.

The role all these employees are having is a composite role which is having SQ01, SQVI as a single roles in it.
But if the users have the access to SQ01 then why are they able to edit or change any other queries which they don't have access as per the user group. What is the use for the user group?

Using dbca to create a db and all the users are locked and expired

I create a template using dbca on 10gR2 with schema and data and when I use that to build a clone on another machine the users passwords are all locked and expired. I am doing this in silent mode from the command line and I am looking for a flag that produces the unlock users passwords feature which seems to be there if you manually run dbca from the GUI.

This is a unix script I use to unlock accouts. I should notice this script is used for educational pourposes, in a production database it is not a good practice to leave demo accounts unlocked and overall with login=password.

All external users are missing in Shared services.

Hi All,
We are on Hyperion System 11.1.2.. Today all of a sudden in production users are not able to log in. So logged in as admin (native user) to see whats going on. Surprised to see that all the groups are empty and all the users are removed from all groups. So when tried to add back its unable to find the external users.
So some thing is wrong with external users.
Any suggestions on how to fix or any one experienced similar issues?

Got this same error in Shared Services 11.1.1.3 Was due to an Active Directory Domain Controller being decommissioned Here is a fix you might try, It basically refreshes your user database connection
Log into Shared Services
Click on “Administration” on the “Shared Services” toolbar
Click “Configure User Directories
Check the Radio button next to “Active Directory” (or the db your are experiencing the error) and then click “Edit”
The next screen displays the connection info for “Active Directory”(or the db your are experiencing the error), nothing to change here, just click “Finish” and the connection refresh should start
Re-start All Services
Verify that you can now look up an external user without error

Have you tried deleting the account and re-adding it on the phone?
What version of Exchange server are you running?

All of the Users are missing in the File Sharing Prefs

I was trying to straighten out an issue I was having with accessing my wife's iMac. She has access to mine. So then I gave up and was trying to save a Word doc to an external drive and it wouldn't work. I checked Prefs and the Users are listed but when I go to File Sharing there aren't any of the Users listed.
Any ideas?

I will provide you the steps to resolve the issue for Mac operating system .
Please follow the below steps :
Close Creative Cloud Application (up right corner, click on the cog menu and then "Quit Creative Cloud").
From Finder, click Go > Go to Folder at top in Menu bar
Type ~/Library/Application support/Adobe and hit return.
Rename the folders 'AAMUpdater' and 'OOBE' to 'AAMUpdaterOLD' and 'OOBEOLD'.
From the Finder, click Go > Go to Folder.
Type /Library/Application support/Adobe and hit return.
Rename AAMupdater, folder to AAMupdaterOLD
Launch your Creative cloud desktop.
Introduce your CC credentials.
Select install/update applications.
Hopefully it will work for you. If it does, then you can remove the folders that you renamed as <something>OLD.
I assume that for Windows users, the steps are different , if you are using Windows OS, please follow the below steps :
Hold Windows + R key from your keyboard.
It will open into a run window.
In RUN application type: %localappdata%
Next, navigate: \Local\Adobe\OOBE
Rename OOBE as OOBE.old
Then, Navigate to C:Program files/Common files/Adobe(32 bit) or C:Program files(X86)/Common files/Adobe folder.
Rename AAMupdater folder and try signing to Creative Cloud desktop application.
If you face same issue again, please reply back .

Not able to see all the subject areas with BI Author and BI Consumer roes

Recently we have upgraded to OBIEE 11G and we have created new users and assigned groups in the new 11G.
Generally users sholud be able to see all the dashboards and subject areas with the default BI Author and BI Consumer roles.
But in our 11G system users cannot see all the subject areas with the above groups, only if we give the BI Administrator role the they can see all the subject areas and dashboards.
We cannot give BI Administrator role to all the users....Please advise.

All the subnets are not reachable over the VPN

We have a EZVPN connection to one of our branch office. Connectivity diagram is attached with this discussion.
HO LAN (10.1.0.0/16 & 192.6.14.0/24) --------- ASA5520-------- Internet ---------- Cisco2911-------- LAN of remote location (10.2.0.0/16)
we are using 10.2.0.0/26 subnet at remote office and 10.1.0.0/16 & 192.6.14.0/24 subnets at HO. From HO through 10.1.0.0/16 & 192.6.14.0/24 all the devices are reachable except the firewall which is connected with GigabitEthernet0/2 interface of cisco2911 router(on which VPN is created).
Its a fortigate firewall and it is reachable locally from the network 10.2.0.0/16. I believe its an issue with phase2 ACLs but didn't able to resolve the issue.
I'm not able to take GUI / CLI interfaces of fortigate firewall even i'm not able to ping the IP of GigabitEthernet0/2 interface of cisco2911.
kindly advise on same.

                                                                  what i have did is, created a multiple condition and then based on the inv amount assigned 3 methods for invoice posting.My problem is if a person posts an invoice amount of 1000.A mail has to be sent to Person B and C informing that an amount of 1000 is posted with user id.Same for person B, ie mail should be sent to person A and C informing regarding invoice posting.Now inside the multiple condition i cannot assign mail step.Coz based on the condition it will go to a particular user for invoice posting but where as mail should be sent to all the users.So how can i achieve this??.

I am getting 1 thing why you need need multiple conditions. No need to create any multiple conditions.
1. Create a rule using transaction PFAC. (you can use the example as Rule: 0000168).
    a. Create an function module with table parameters as ACTOR_TAB (type SWHACTOR) and AC_CONTAINER (Type
        SWCONT). You can aswell copy the FM used in 168 rule and change it. check the logic mentioned below.
    b. In PFAC transaction, go to container tab and create 2 container elements. For amount and Mail_indicator (type should be
        same as that of the amount field in your workflow) .
2. Use this Rule in your workflow to send mail.

Get the org-object under consideration. AMOUNT is the container name defined in your PFTC transaction

Get the org-object-type and the org-object id.
SWC_GET_ELEMENT AC_CONTAINER 'MAIL_INDICATOR' V_MAIL_INDICATOR .
Pass the org-object, the org-object-type and the org-object-id
to a new container.
The org object get a new name: ORG_AGENT.
SWC_SET_ELEMENT NEW_AC_CONTAINER 'AMOUNT' 'V_AMOUNT'.
SWC_SET_ELEMENT NEW_AC_CONTAINER 'MAIL_INDICATOR' V_MAIL_INDICATOR .
check for V_AMOUNT and V_MAIL_INDICATOR.

Similarly write the logic for other conditions.
This way you can use same for different purposes.
If you pass the indicator that means you are sending mail to other approvers for information.

How to set up same timezone in BI Publisher for all the USERS?

Hi Experts,
My OBIEE version is 11.1.1.6.6 and any user can go into the My Account and then preferences and set the timezone.
But as an admin, i see they are too many users and wanted to setup common timezone for all of them.
How do i setup common timezone in BI Publisher for all the users?

Hi all,
I created a free text SC and after approval by the manager, the SC was routed to the Sourcing cockpit as I had activated sourcing for the product category that was ordered.
Now in the SOCO, when I select my SC and click on the 'Next' button, I get an error : "The attributes of the user are inconsistent or not defined. See transaction PPOMA_BBP."
I have defined the following attributes for my purchaser
Acct assgnmnt Categry --- (Cost centre)
Acct system for vendor --- (ECC logical system)
Company code --- (XXX)
Cost centre --- (XXXXX)
Del address --- (XXXXX)
Doc type in R/3 --- (ECPO)
Local currency --- (EUR)
Mov type --- (201)
System Alias --- (ECC logical system)
System alias for accounting system --- (ECC logical system)
System alias for vendor --- (ECC logical system)
User role --- (employee/op purchaser/st purchaser)
Which other attribute do I need to define? Is there something that I have missed?
Strangely it works fine if I give my user SAP_ALL profile!!

I did regenerate the role and it is in green now. Still it does not work.
However I noticed that when I ran the attribute check for Purchaser's position, I got the following errors.
Application 'RFx': Assign purchaser PURCHASER1 to a purchasing organization
Message no. BBP_ATTR_CHECK151
Diagnosis
User PURCHASER1 has a purchaser's authorizations but is not assigned to any purchasing organization.
System Response
Purchaser PURCHASER1 (position S 50000015) cannot run the EBP applications RFx without encountering errors.
Procedure
Assign a purchasing organization to purchaser PURCHASER1 (position S 50000015). Select an organization unit above the purchaser and select the property 'purchasing organization' on the 'Function' tab.
I have already done the above, all org units have a function that links them to backend ECC. Why is it still prompting me with the same error?
