All three iPhones on my account are backing up into the same iCloud account. How do I change this?
Hi,
When I initially setup my parents iphones, I set them up under my apple account. At first, there was no problem, but now my iCloud backup is getting mixed with my parents. How do I create a new account for them without them losing the data that they have on their phones.
Thank you for the help in advance.

To change the ID you have to delete the existing account (which only deletes it from you phone, not from iCloud, provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone when prompted, then sign back in with a different ID. If you wish to migrate a copy of the iCloud data to your new account, start by saving any photo stream photos you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tap the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward pointing arrow), then tap Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing notes with iCloud, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud), choose Keep on My iDevice and provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone. Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data.

how would i automatically combine my calendars on both my macbook and my iphone?
Yes, it's possible. That's exactly how iCloud works.
First check your settings. Make sure your phone and Mac are both signed into the same iCloud account in Settings (System Preferences)>iCloud and that contact syncing is enabled on both. Then on your phone, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar (in the Calendars section) and select your iCloud calendar as your default. On you Mac, open the Calendar application and go to Calendar>Preferences>General and make sure your iCloud calendar is selected in the drop-down list next to Default Calendar.
Then add a test calendar event on both your Mac and your phone, go to icloud.com from your computer and check to see if they both appear there, as well as on the other device. If so, they are properly syncing now. If not, let me know which one does not appear on icloud.com. -
I have an iPad and iPhone backed up with the same icloud account but because iv two the storage has filled really quick, how can I have separate icloud accounts?
You got it with that same apple id thing. You can use different apple id's, but then they will not sync. Apple does allow as many free apple id's as you want, but they are in the business to make money.

I recently changed my password for my Apple ID and now I can't receive calls on my iPad or Mac. All devices are signed on with the same iCloud account. Anyone have the same issue?
Hello!
On all of these devices, go to: Settings > iCloud and make sure they're updated with the new password. If you're talking about Macs, go to: "System Preferences > iCloud" too. -

ALWAYS sync photos to a computer, don't count on icloud to store them for you. It does include photos from the camera roll in a backup, but that's all - and restores are not reliable when it comes to photos.
Added info...
Since you should always be syncing photos to your computer as you would photos from a camera, then sync from iphone to itunes/computer, then sync from itunes/computer to ipad.

FOR A PC:
On a PC, simply drag photos to the designated Photo Stream Upload folder. By default, this folder is located atC:\Users\<user name>\Pictures\Photo Stream\Uploads. You can change this location by visiting Photo Stream Options in the iCloud Control Panel for Windows. -
I have 3 Iphone 4S and all have the same apple ID which is causing problems as far as contacts are concerned, when i sync 1 of the phones to my comp the contacts appear on all the phones. How do i create a new ID for each of the phones do I have to reset the phones to factory settings first, any help would be appreciated.:)
Hello marie196,
Thanks for the question, and welcome to Apple Support Communities.
You do not necessarily need to restore the device to factory settings, but rather sign out of the four services that utilize your Apple ID: iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, and iTunes & App Stores. Once signed out, you can sign in with a new Apple ID. For more information, see the following article:
Using your Apple ID for Apple services

Additional Information: You may encounter an error regarding a 90-day limit. For information on this, see the following article:
iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID

HT4436 my husband and i have the same apple id how do i change this i thought i done this all ready
my husband have the same apple i cloud how do i change this
Create a new Apple ID for him: Create an Apple ID
Sign out of the old Apple ID and in with the new Apple ID on his devices in these places:
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive
Settings > FaceTime
Settings > iCloud > Delete account > Sign back in with new ID
Settings > Game Center
You can keep using the same Apple ID for purchases.
If you want to have separate purchases:
Settings > iTunes & App Stores -
My husband and I set up our iphones with the same Apple ID. How do I change that?
To change the Apple ID used for purchasing go to Settings>Store>Apple ID, tap the ID shown, sign out, sign back in with the ID you wish to use.

How do I backup 2 iPhones to the same iCloud account?
How do I back up 2 different iPhones to the same iCloud backup?
It is not true that they get merged. . I have three iPhones and one iPad backed up up to the same iCloud account. Each device has its own backup.

By signing into the same iCloud account in Settings>iCloud and turning on iCloud Backup. Caution: this will merge the data from both phones, and cause any actions taken on either phone to sync to the other. If you don't want a common set of data on the phones, don't sign into the same iCloud account on them. -
My father updated his iPhone and once he did that he would receive all of my texts and iMessages, is that because we are on the same iCloud account? And if that's why how can I remove it or make it so he doesn't get all my messages
you can change the accounts of different apps in the phone's settings menu.

So I want to move my iphone over to a new icloud account with my new apple id that i made but i dont want to delete the ipads off the old account just move the iphone to the new one. How do I do that I despreatly need help!!!
To migrate your phone to a new account, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep on the phone, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; your other devices won't be effected by this), provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone (if using iOS 7) and choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted . Then sign back in with your new Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data to the new account.

I have 3 iphones, an ipod touch and an Ipad on the same itunes account. should I have a different account for each device? If so how do I get all my purchases, like music on all the devices?
You can sync as many devices as you want to the same iTunes account, there is no limit. You can have the same content on each device or different content, the choice is yours. iTunes will keep everything straight, by device, including separate backups. I'd suggest giving each device a unique name, to make things easier.

All of my texts are now being sent through my email after the new update. How do I change this back to just sending with my phone number?
Try settings -- messages -- send & recieve and see if your email and phone number are in there and if there is only a check mark next to your email address. If so just check off your phone number and try that.

I need to erase all the content and settings from old iPhone 4s. Will doing so affect content on new iPhone 6 which is using the same iCloud account and Apple ID?
No, it will not affect the iPhone 6 content if you wipe the old iPhone 4s.

Me and my daughter are using the same Apple id and we share the same iCloud account. I want to change her Apple id so that she will have her own icloud account and I will have mine.
1. how do I do it?
2. how do I transfer her stuff which is in my icloud storage to her new icloud account once this one is created?
thanks,
AriTo migrate her device to a new account, start by saving any photo stream photos she wants to keep to her amera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow, then tapping Save to Camera Roll. Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create her new account and choose Merge to upload the data.
Once you are on separate accounts you can each go to icloud.com from a computer and delete the other person's data from your account.
