All UI Elements marked Hidden in POWL screen for EAM Portal for Technician

Hi Guys,
We got one issue that when we hide UI elements on POWL screen and it baceme completely blank, So we are unable to find any option to show invisible elements (revert the changes).
Could any body help me with the way how to revert these changes.
We are using EAM Portal for Maintenance Technician.

Hi All,
Got the answer with the help of OSS note 916019.
WD_ANALYZE_CONFIG_USER application. Specify the selection criteria and you receive a list of the personalizations. You can select and delete several entries at the same time.

Can't reset my systeem admin account and all startpunt options respons with a grey screen, lock and line for password

i bought a 2nd hand iMac 21'5, 2010. First I installed Mavericks and entered a password which I forgot, and did not activate my appleid at that time.
when trying to install a new bought program, I had to enter the sys adm acoount password which I had forgotten.
TRied the options found on internet, but did not have a mavericks startup disk. downloaded Mavericks again and then tried to creatie a startpunt disk. did not work as mavericks immediately started with the installation.
Got the original Mac os X cd from the person I brought the iMac from, but now found that I cannot use the CMD r option. then my Mac opens with a grey screen, a lock and only allow a password input.
None of the startup options (eg d) are working anymore and or end up in the grey startup screen asking a password or just ingenomen the request and starts the Mac and is fully operational without full access to the systeem functions (as these require the systeem password which I forgotten). However my Mac still starts and I use mail and internet Ans all other installed programs. but I cannot create an account as I do not know the sys adm. password.
When using terminal and give the command mountain -uw / I receive the reply:
GetMasterBlock: Error 13 opening /dec/rdisk0s2
mount-hfs: Operation not permitted.
CAn somebody help me how to reset my system, even if this means I loose all data? I bought all software in the iStore, so asume I can re-install it anyway.

Ask the person you bought it from for the firmware password and supply that into the box. You'll then be able to use the Option key shortcut and can get into the recovery partition to reset the administrator password.

How can I change all Inf elements in an array to a specific value?

I would like to change all Inf elements in my array to -1. Basically, I am looking for something similar to the range and coerce function, except that I want all values above a certain value to be a specific negative value, rather than go to that value.
I could use a case structure and go through each element in the array, but I am hoping to find something more efficient.Any ideas?

Can't move all the elements in a group together.

Hello,
I'm trying to do a very basic thing here. I would like to just put all the elements in my bicycle drawing in a group, and then move it left to right. I know how to move it and animate it, and I thought I knew how to put all the elements in the group - but when I try to move it, as you can see by the attached pictures, it strips the frame from the wheels. Everything in the drawing is in a group.
The only thing that might be causing trouble is that each wheel is its own group and they are animated with the "spin" behavior. So it will look like the bike is moving and the wheels are turning. But both "wheel" groups are in the bike group, so shouldn't it all move together?

Sorry it hasn't worked out for you. I threw together a simple project that uses rectangles to represent your Bike and wheel groups. They all animate across the canvas in the bike group and the wheels rotate. I have attached screen shots so you can see how they are constructed.
This image showsthe bike group where the orange rectangle and green circle represent the frame. The white rectangles represent wheels and the green and red rectangles I threw in to represent a wheel that has multiple objects in its group as your wheels do.
Here the animation across the screen has started and notice all wheels rotating and staying with the frame.
Again a little further down the timeline.

it is easy to download simple reports,includeing code, text etc.but how can i deal with reports with customed screen.
for example, i have to download the elements and flow logic of screen 100 in a report. also, i need to upload in another server.

Identify document elements, mark as XML?

Hi all,
Currently working on a Web-to-print project using InDesign Server CS5 and JavaScript.
What I'd like to do is enable the following to happen:
A user uploads an .indd document (OK with this!).
A JS script loops through the document and identifies all the elements of the document (text areas, images, etc).
The user is then prompted to select which elements of the document they would like to mark as 'editable'.
The elements that the user has selected as editable are tagged in the .indd as XML elements.
The .indd is saved and closed.
I'm relatively new to InDesign scripting, and I'm hoping this isn't something too unusual that I'm trying to achieve! Does anyone have any advice/ideas as to how this could be achieved?

Well, yes, I think so (I don't have the XML syntax memorized...) but...that's not typically how you would want to tag your XML elements.
I mean, generally you'd want something like:
<rect count="1">...</rect>
<rect count="2">...</rect>
<text count="3">...</text>
if you wanted counts. But you wouldn't create new tags for every object:
<tag1>...my rectangel data</tag1>
<tag2>...rect2 data</tag2>
<tag3>...text data...</tag3>
It's certainly going to make it hard to parse your XML with standards tools. Instead use an attribute. Or why even make them unique like that? I'm not sure t's The XML Way?

I want to prefix two character to all the elements of a particular "multiline" workflow container.
How can i do this?

you will have to use a custom method as step and pass the multiline attribute and loop at it, add and modify the multiline variable of the container. No other way possible, within workflow builder.

Disable links in POWL screen

Hi all,
We are on SRM 7.1.
Can soemone explain me the use of the FILTER link in the POWL screen under EMPLOYEE role?
Also is it possible to hide the links "FILTER" ,"DEFINE QUERY" and "CHANGE QUERY" in POWl screens?If so ,how?

Hi,
If you want to filter data of POWL report for some criteria, you can use filter option. To maintain filter click on Settings and go for filter tab and make the required filter entry.
If you want to disable these links, you have to go to Webdynpro component of the application (SE80 - T.code) and make it invisible.

Thanks for you reply.
In the option " Quick Search Creteria Maintanence" , I have added few selection options which on click of apply prepares a serach url and fetches data from the external non sap system.
This is being used by higher management and they want a variant kind off search creteria which can be saved and reterived and no need to re enter the search parameters all the time.
Here in POWL apps I could find only one button "APPLY" which I have used to generate the url.
Now for saving the search creteria was trying to find if we have any options available or I can customize by adding one more button and passing the values to a custom table and fetch it back and pass it to the default selection creteria which normally happens in Variant.
But here I cant even locate an option to add a button.
Please advice.

Forget about all the rest until you check out the Announcement at the top of this forum regarding the current 1/2 wmv display related to a recent Windows Update kb file. I missed the wmv part of your initial question by focusing too much on the thread title.

MicroSoft has issued an Update for Windows, that is causing problems with Displays. The following is from Talbot McInnis, who tracked down this problem, and offers a fix:
"MS bulliten MS13-057. Specifically, on XP kb2834904 and on windows 7 kb2803821 is causing a problem
For us, it occurs when decoding WMV9 files. Not all uses of WMV decoding are affected, but I confirmed that when connecting the WMV decode DLL to a sample grabber for RGB32 video, the frames arrive black on top, so that points directly to decoding internals of the WMV Decode dll.
You can uninstall these windows updates to resolve your problem."
There are several threads on the problem that this Update is causing on the PrE and PrPro Forums, so one can get more details. So far, there is not another fix from either MS, or Adobe.

I turned on my mac and all i am getting is a white screen with a flashing envelpe

I turned on my computer and all that I see is a white screen with an file folder in the middle of screen that flahes. The file folder also has a question mark on it.

Try booting to Recovery (Command + R just after releasing the power button)
If you are running 10.6.8 or Earlier you will need the Install DVD and to hold down C instead.
Once in there go into Disk Utility, Can you see the Macintosh HD on the left hand side?
If so;
Click on it
Under the first aid tab select "Verify Disk"
Even if this comes back saying its verified and all good, click "Repair Disk" After this
If everything is good after that try restarting
If it says that you need to backup your data and reformat the drive ect, we have to do a Erase and Install.

If you haven't got your data backed up you can get an external HDD install OSX onto it, then backup your files from that.
If you can't see anything on the left, the HDD is dead, or can't be mounted, head to an Apple Retail Store, or Service Provider, and if the data is important you can hit up a data recovery center.
