All UI of iPhone 5 is iOS7 but software version show iOS 8.1.3
I using iPhone 5 with iOS 8.x.x. I backup my iPhone 5 data on iCloud automatically.
Last month, my iPhone 5 has problem with battery issue. I join "iPhone 5 Battery Replacement Program" a few weeks later my iPhone 5 is come back to me with new device. I turn it on and want to restore my backup from icloud but it not work. I'm avoid it by choose "Set Up as New iPhone."
When I checking software version, the result is iOS 8.1.3 but I noticed that all UI i.e. menu icon, text ,and order is same with iOS 7 UI.
Is it correct that all UI of iPhone 5 is same with ios7 when result of software version checking is iOS 8.1.3?

Hey there naphon,
It sounds like you are concerned that the interface appears to be iOS 7 and you need to restore your iCloud backup to get your data back. You can use this article to create a local backup of your phone to iTunes and then restore the devices software:
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
When prompted you should be able to select the iCloud backup and let that restore from there.

You can only watch the movie on the device you rented it on. Here's a snippet from the Apple Support site (italics mine):
If you download a rented movie on your computer: You can transfer it to a device such as your Apple TV (1st generation), iPhone, iPad, or iPod if it’s a standard-definition film (movies in HD can only be watched on your computer, iPad, iPhone 4 or later, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV). Once you move the movie from your computer to a device, the movie will disappear from your computer's iTunes library. You can move the movie between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period, but the movie can only exist on one device at a time.
If you download a rented movie on your iPhone 4 or later, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV: It is not transferable to any other device or computer.

Airdrop is only for iPhone 5 and higher and ipad 4 and up...

You cant. You can only update to the latest version which is iOS6.

I have a friend with the same make/model who is on version 5...Doesn't sound like you have a 3GS, but rather an iPhone 3. Settings>General>About>Model...what does it say?

Tried upgrading to 10.8.2. It failed the upgrade. Currently the Software version shows " System Version:
OS X 10.8.1 (12B19)" . But App store does not show 10.8.2 as an updateYou can Contact MAS here.

iOS 4.3.5 is not the same as iOS 5. iOS 5 with the new features you list has not been released.

I I have updated my iPhone 5 to iOS7 which should allow me to listen to the itunes radio on there. However, I still don't have a radio tab in my music app (even in the 'more' section)? Does anyone know how I can get this?Thank you - I read that whole page but must've missed that bit! Oops!

I have recently had my iphone 5 not show who is calling on call waiting. The phone beeps but doesn't show the number / per son that is calling, won't let me click over and won't show who it was in my call history. Help very annoying.
1st go into your settings then tap phone to see if call waiting is turned on or off. If call waiting isOFF turn it ON. You can use also Apple article HT 4515. I would contact my wireless carrier reguarding the caller id not showing up and also with help reguarding your call waiting as well

I have an iPhone 4s, not jailbroken. I was able to update to 5.0.1 when it came out last year. When 5.1.1 came out, I noticed that I never received the
notification that a new update was available. I updated my 2 ipads and my wife's iphone 4. I didn't bother looking into it, since I didn't feel the need to update to 5.1.1. Now I want to update to ios 6, but when I go to Settings > General > Software Update. It checks for updates , but still shows me that my 5.0.1 is up to date. I plug into itunes and check for update there and it still indicates that 5.0.1. is up to date as well.
Does anyone know what this is happening and how I can update to ios 6?
