All videos In my iPad have been deleted!!!
I just update iTunes to version9. But I can find my videos , Godzilla, the day after tomorrow and orange county after undating. I've been shocked! I don't know what's going on in my iPad. Pz help me and let me know what to do!

Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Then go to Settings>WiFi - find your network again - enter the password and see if you can get online.
Or reboot your router - unplug it for 30 seconds and then plug it in again.
Or go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. You will have to find the network and enter the password again. -
All my non-recurring appointments have been deleted from my iphone. They are stored in outlook 2010 under the archiveicloud calander. How do I restore these appointments to my phone? Thanks
The pics are gone. This is what a restore is. You erased your iphone, reinstalled your software, then added back your settings from the date of the last backup.
You should have imported your photos to your computer as you would with any digital pictures, before any restore or update.

Hey,
if you know the name(s) of the root folder(s) you want to access (eg. by making a note on the Windows side) then you can make them appear by just doing Shift-Command-G in Finder ("Go to Folder…"), and entering the full path to the required folders. You can then navigate all the contents as normal.

All my emails from Gmail have been deleted during the sync process with Mail
Hi,
During the sync between Gmail and Mail in my MacBook Pro all the messages disapered in Gmail and in my Mac. I see them for a minute in my Mac and then all disapered. Then, I went to Gmail and all my emails have been deleted too, but they aren't in the Trash Folder. The configuration was ok, and all the options to keep a copy on the server were activated.
Now I can't find the emails (more than 15.000) in Gmail or in the Mac.
Any suggestion?
Thanks a lot!Most likely your anti-virus software did corrupt your mail files. In general the anti-virus software should not scan your Thunderbird profile folder.
Without knowing what exactly the local computer company did it is virtually impossible to tell what happened.
You can check whether the anti-virus software did quarantine your mail file(s).

The Windows Restore function does not cover the Thunderbird profile, so there is no point trying that.
Your best bet would be to restore a recent backup of your profile folder. Hope you did create one. -
Why do files show in all my files when they have been deleted
In finder > all my files > there are files that have been put in trash yet they show up when I delete them it wants me to fix alias but won't work because the file has been deleted
Have you tried to drag the alias to the desktop?
When you look at an alias, what folder is it stored in? If you highlight it, it should show the information in the path bar at the bottom of the finder window. If the path bar isn't visible, click on View and select show path bar.
You may try to repair permissions using disk utility and see if that helps. -
Can't locate all video's on iPad 2 to delete
I have tried the usual to locate and delete video's taking up space, but four remain and I can't find them to delete. I've opened Photo's and deleted from camera, stream, went to the Albums section and delted there, plus deleted from the Recently Deleted folder. Then, I opened the Video's folder on desktop and delteed the contents. Still four remain. Can anyone offer a suggestion as to where else I might look? Thanks,
You computer will only see photos that were taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites, it won't see photos that were synced from a computer.
If you want to copy back photos that were originally synced from a computer then you will need a third-party app on your iPad such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer. -
I opened up my pages app and the document i needed opened up automatically, i turned away from my ipad to log onto my computer only to find when i look back at my ipad that ALL my documents have been deleted!! It is very important i get these back as i have an assignment to hand in tomorrow and ALL my revision is on their for my exam in 4 days time. please please please help me get my documents back onto my ipad? I have logged into icloud on my computer and can see the documents but cant work out how to get them back on my ipad???

I transferred my iPhoto FACES to my mini iPad and: (a) they are not in the alphabetical order I had them in, (b) some of the FACES have been deleted, (c) the EVENTS I checked off in iTunes do not all appear in the iPad?
Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there.
Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A Finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for the iPod Photo Cache. Trash it. Start iPhoto and try sync again.

I have recently updated my macs software then been onto Photo Booth and realised that all of my pictures/videos have been deleted and are not in iPhoto? If you are backing up to your computer, check in iTunes/Edit/Preferences/Devices, if there is more than your recent iPhone 6 backup listed. If yes, transfer the photos from your phone to the computer first, then restore from the backup. After that, transfer the recovered photos again to your computer and sync all of the transferred pictures to your phone, using iTunes and the settings in the photo pane.

I just Synced My iPhone 6 which had close to 2000 photos to a new computer (windows PC) and synced with iTunes.Now all my previous photos have been deleted which were there on my phone. Please suggest a way to recover those Photos . Thanks
P.S -I have not taken any backup of those photos. So please suggest any software or any other method.If those photos were part of the camera roll, they were part of the backup as well and you can restore from the latest backup you made on the old computer. After that transfer the photos to the new PC, follow this article: iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
Then sync again to the new one, which will erase the phone again.
You can also try to copy the backup folder from the old computer to the new one and see if the old backups get recognized, check this article to find the location on your PC:

If the photos were not taken with the phone, your data is gone, photos you sync from iTunes to the phone are not included in the backup. -
Allbut 5-6 of my 44 songs on my Ipod shuffle have been deleted. They all show up on my purchases but I can't transfer them to my Ipod shuffle device.
