All you GURUS...This is Soniya.. Please HELP ME OUT ....

For creating a handling Unit we can use  BAPI_HU_CREATE . The problem is this returns a HU number. But I want to create a HU  with my own generated key, that is the newly created HU should have my own key rather than the SAP generated Key..
Can anyone help me out please.. will surely reward points...
This is very urgent!!!!>.
Thank you all!!!!

I don't think you can do it without creating your own Z version of the FM...When the HU Key is generated, the key is registered so it can be used in other processes....If you generate your own key, you would need to registered in the same tables so you don't have any troubles later...
AFAIK there's no User-Exits for FM...So you can't modify the value after the FM finish its job...
Greetings,
Blag.
