All ZCM Policies Have Stopped Applying

Hey Guys,
We're having some serious problems over here.
Issue:
All ZCM policies have stopped applying.
This includes group policy settings, ZENworks Explorer Configuration Policies, and iPrint Printer Policies.
We've got a single primary server, 1300+ devices, and are currently using the built-in sybase database.
The first thing on our plate is to address the database. We're migrating to Oracle very soon, since we have out-grown the 1000-device limit of the built-in database, however do you feel that the limitations of the built-in database could be causing the policy issues? This all started perhaps a few weeks ago, and before that point everything was just fine.
Server OS:
SLES 11, 64-bit
ZCM Version 10.3.0.0
Clients are Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit

I've not changed the way they're associated.
The iPrint policies are (and have been) associated to folders full of workstations.
The group policy setting(s) are (and have been) associated at the root of "Workstations" since it's a campus-wide policy.
Prior to our email discussion, I did create a test policy which was pointed at a different iPrint server with no success.
I also cycled enable/disable enforcement of the policy, incremented the version several times, performed a zac cc and a zac ref on the client, as well as attempted to associate the policy to a user which I logged into the workstation with no success.

    The policies didn't change nowadays, and just one user gets the message.
    If this user logs in another terminal server he gets same message there.

    The simplest thing would be to configure the policies to not force a
    logoff. If you look at the MS Policy Spreadsheet, the number of items
    requiring a logoff to take effect are miniscule.

  • All google apps have stopped working

    Hi all.
    My Z2 has has given me nothing but problems. 
    The latest one being that all Google apps (Play store,google +, gmail, search etc..) Have stopped working.
    So I'm in a pickle.

  • All email links have stopped working from both Windows Mail and Thunderbird. It is probably caused by a recent update to Firefox. How can I sort this?

    It was OK until a few days ago but now no links work in either Thunderbird or Windows Mail. I have changed nothing so I can only assume that this is another case of an update changing things without my knowledge.
    Links within web pages still work. Firefox is the default browser and we have been using Windows Mail and Thunderbird (gmail and googlemail) for at least a couple of years on this computer.

    I switched Logic Pro 9 to run in 64 bit, I opened Logic and my MacBook froze. I then manually restarted it. Now all my AU plugins wont work on Logic or GargeBand. I have even reinstalled them. WHAT DO I DO?

    A lot of 3rd party plugins are only 32 bit. After reading peoples letters to the forum, many state that they won't run properly in 64 bit mode. Try switching back to 32 and see if that solves the problem. Good luck. I hope you solve it.

    Connecting to wireless networks that i have previously connected to times out, both with network manager, and iwconfig.
    I have tried on two networks i have previously connected to and both time out.
    What is interesting is that i am able to connect if i set a static ip, but i cannot reach any addresses, not even 192.168.1.1
    SOLVED:
    Issue was determined to be the ath9k module, fixed it by running:
    modprobe ath9k nohwcrypt=1

  • Some Video DVDs have stopped mounting on my OPTIARC Superdrive

    I have a Mac Pro 8 core with 10.6.4, and suddenly some (but not all) Video DVDs have stopped mounting with the OPTIARC DVD RW AD-7170A superdrive. After inserting the Video DVD disc, the drives just sort of makes a clicking noise, and then after a few minutes ejects the disc. Other Video DVDs mount just fine.
    Audio CDs, DVDs that have been burned, and other Video DVDs mount and play just fine. The same Video DVDs that now refuse to mount on this Superdrive, mount and play just fine on my other Super Drive equipped Mac's. I am pretty sure the DVDs are not faulty and that all are the correct region.
    Any ideas are appreciated.

    I am seeing a very similar problem with the drive sporadically reading/not reading any dvd, and only sporadically successfully burning a dvd.
    From what I have read so far, it seems that the drive is just faulty. There may be a firmware upgrade available here: http://liggydee.cdfreaks.com/page/en/Optiarc-AD-7170A/
    That said, I'm not sure how to flash the drive yet, and there is a risk in doing so.

    I tried all of the suggestions, sort of. I did not have alcohol wipes, but I did take alcohol and pour some ona white paper towel and then rolled the mouse touch ball aroound and that finally cleared up the problem.  Just inverting it on paper did not do the reick, it needed some help with the alcohol.  Of course the probelm is the debris that gets inside and it really needs to come out.
    This is a huge problem for RIM devices users too.

    French is quite a bit further down my language list (limited to small bits), the main source of understanding/recognizing being the corresponding loan words in English.
    At least some years ago I could read and understand all the half/full page German sentences effortlessly, but even then I was banned from helping our kids with any German homework.
