Allgemeiner Fehler - FCP 7.0.2 after last Weekend Auto-Upgrade from MacOS
Dear all,
After Upgrading to the latest MacOS I do get the Error "Allgemeiner Fehler" when rendering to Quicktime-Movie - using default settings. The Clip is around 1 Minute long.
Also got the impression that calculation takes much more longer and the applications "hangs"
Has worked before the Update without any issues....
Any Ideas if this might be related to this last weekends Update?
Thanks
Regards
Juergen
"Allgemeiner Fehler" = General error.
It could be one of dozens of things. If you do a search for the term, you will find lots of posts about this.
Things to try: Trash the Preference files for FCP. It is harmless and might get you back on track:
Open a Finder window. Set the view mode to columns:
Click the house icon that has your name next to it.
Click the folder "Library" in the next column.
Find and click the folder "Preferences" in the next column.
Find and click the folder "Final Cut Pro User Data" in the next column.
Move the files "Final Cut Pro 7.0 Prefs", "Final Cut Pro Obj Cache" and "Final Cut Pro Prof Cache" to the Trash and empty it.
Deleting the render files and re-rendering might also clear the problem.

No sound after Windows 10 free upgrade from WIN7 on G71-340US laptop with IDT CODEC.
After free upgrade from WIN7 to WIN10 my laptop no longer has any sound (with internal or external speakers). I have tried uninstalling IDT driver and allowing Windows 10 to reinstall the driver through scan for HW changes - still no sound. I would appreciate any guidance or fixes for this problem. Thank you.
I am happy to report I now have sound on my G71-340US laptop. After further trial and error troubleshooting I found that there is an app called IDT PC Audio (aka IDT HD Sound) installed on my laptop by HP (OEM) I think. While I'm not exactly sure what this app's function is it appears it is related to activating IDT HD Codec drivers functionality. Somehow I decided to look in Task Manager - Startup and saw this IDT PC Audio listed. I clicked on disable and then a minute later clicked on enable. After I did that, as simple as it appears, I now was able to hear sound both on internal and external speakers. This is the first time I heard any sound since upgrading to WIN10. I have checked it several times by re-booting my laptop and each and every time I now have sound. I'll continue to test this through the week and see if it continues to be OK. Meanwhile, I thought I would share this potential fix (or workaround) with all concerned. Perhaps others will find this useful and provide me your feedback. Keeping my fingers crossed! PS. BTW, if anyone out there knows what IDT PC Audio is by all means share your knowledge. I am curious why this app doesn't appear more often in the forum posts and how it may relate to the WIN10 upgrade. Sorry, but I don't recall what prompted me to look at Task Manager - Startup but I'm glad I did. It's great to hear sound again!

I executed a "check for updates" upgrade from 150 to 151 and all my connections are not displaying in the connection pane. I had nearly 100 connections defined - how do I get these back? There seems to be several issues related to this but nothing is clearly described as to exactly how to get these back.
I take you didn't migrate your settings on first start after the upgrade; so logically you get a clean environment.
Now I guess the easiest fix would be to copy the [user profile]\sqldeveloper\system1.5.0.53.38\o.jdeveloper.db.connection.11.1.1.0.22.49.35\connections.xml to [user profile]\sqldeveloper\system1.5.1.54.40\o.jdeveloper.db.connection.11.1.1.0.22.49.42.
Have fun,

I am Z10 user and after my last system upgrade i can no longer add any new contacts. This is being reported on a number of forums. Is there a fix? If I don't hear back from blackberry by the end of the week I will be dropping blackberry and moving to the Samsung Galaxy 4 or Apple I phone. Blackberry has blown it.
There's no need to double post and cross post in different threads, one is enough and your earlier post has been responded to.

Invalid objects found after R12.1.2 upgrade from R12.1.1
Hi all,
We had Oracle E-Business R12.1.1 vanilla installation before and just upgraded to R12.1.2 by applying patch (7303033), in which during this process there was an error stating some errors found at forms library.
And the below query;
select count(*) from dba_objects where owner ='APPS and status = 'INVALID''; --gave us 84 objects.
Due to this we ran a recompilation of the apps schema and Application database entire using the "adadmin" command, after which the above query has fallen down the output to "48" counts from "84" counts.
Basically the instalallation and upgrade has been done by the vendor of Oracle product to us and have no metalink account as yet ( which will be provided to us after the go live date).
I just want to know will this effect our production enviornment and if so how could I rectify it...
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I think it has to do with the interaction between Word, InfoPath, IIS, and /or SharePoint, but I cannot put my finger on it. Maybe client integration or authentication settings? I have looked at it in wireshark
and have not seen anything glaring.
Steps to reproduce the (working) behavior:
Set up a document library in SharePoint 2010.
Under versioning settings, make the following changes:
Set Require Content Approval for submitted Items to Yes
Select Create Major and Minor (draft) versions
Set require checkout to Yes
Create an out of the box “approval” workflow with the following settings:
Start this workflow to approve publishing a major version of an item.
I then create a new document. Save it. check it in. it is now version 0.1.
I then open it again. check it out. Make a change. Close and save it.
Check it in.
Publish major version:
At this point a screen is presented to me to enter workflow parameters. This screen comes up in Enterprise 2013 and MOSS 2007, but not the migrated version of 2010:
This is what I need help with. It should come up in 2010. To fix it in 2013, I had to change the IIS bindings to only have 1 entry for a port. I did this for 2010 and it did not work.
Any help or ideas is very appreciated. Thanks very much in advance.Hi Chris,
According to your description, my understanding is that the approval workflow cannot work when the workflow was set to start to approve publishing a major version of an item after upgrading to SharePoint 2010.
I recommend to check the approval workflow in Workflow settings of the corresponding library to see if the Start this workflow to approve publishing a major version of an item is checked.
For test, I recommend to create a new OOB approval workflow and set it to start to approve publishing a major version of an item in the same library to see if the workflow can work.
Thanks
Victoria

IBCM not working after SCCM 2012 R2 Upgrade from SP1
Just upgraded to CM2012 R2 from SP1, 1 primary site and 1 internet facing MP for IBCM in DMZ - both are on Server 2008 R2. PKI has already been setup and was functional before upgrade. After R2 upgrade, my internet clients cannot
communicate. CcmMessaging.log on the client states: "Post to https ibcmsiteserver,domain,com/ccm_system/request failed with 0x87d00231". LocationServices.log shows: "LSUpdateInternetManagementPoints: Failed to retrieve internet
MPs from MP ibcmsiteserver, domain, com with error 0x87d00231, retaining previous list"
(Had to edit the links to allow post)
Has anyone run into this before and how do I resolve it? Thanks,CRL checking setting was enabled, not sure if this was enabled before the upgrade or not. Once I disabled CRL checking, the internet client still wouldn't communicate until it was connected to the domain network and received the new policy settings
(I assume).
Now, the question is how do I update the rest of my internet clients without them connecting to the domain network? (VPN is not an option)
Thank you for the help!! -
UCCX RECORDING STOP WORKING AFTER AGENT´S PC UPGRADE FROM XP TO WINDOWS 7
Dears, We have a customer with UCCX 8.0(2) already working, some agents upgrade per company policy theirs PC´s to Windows 7, After that, supervisor are unable to monitoring/recording the upgrade agent´s PCs.
We installed Ethereal in those PCs and see that the Agent PC did not generate the "copy" RTP packet to Supervisor desktop, as in XP machines where you can see both packet, from phone to phone, and from agent´s PC to supervisor´s PC.
We disable antivirus software and Windows firewall and make everything in troubleshooting documentation, even the registry setting changes.
We did not change hardware, only OS.
We are running Windows 7 Enterprisse edition.
Does anybody stuck with this problem?
Regards
Gustavo ChiarelliIf you are sure that Postinstall is pointing to the right NIC (IP address for which you see G.711 packets when you run NICQ.exe), that’s good. But most of the times, I see problems like this or Span to PC port problem.

Thank-you,
GwenHi Gwen,
In order to assist you, we will need the .DMP files to analyze what exactly occurred at the time of the crash, etc.
If you don't know where .DMP files are located, here's how to get to them:
1. Navigate to the %systemroot%\Minidump folder.
2. Copy any and all DMP files in the Minidump folder to your Desktop and then zip up these files.
3. Upload the zip containing the .DMP files to Onedrive or a hosting site of your choice and paste in your reply. Prefered sites: Onedrive, Mediafire, Dropbox, etc. Nothing with wait-timers.
4 (optional): The type of .DMP files located in the Minidump folder are known as Small Memory Dumps. In %systemroot% there will be what is known as a Kernel-Dump (if your system is set to generate). It is labeled MEMORY.DMP. The difference
between Small Memory Dumps and Kernel-Dumps in the simplest definition is a Kernel-Dump contains
much more information at the time of the crash, therefore allowing further debugging of your issue. If your upload speed permits it, and you aren't going against any strict bandwidth and/or usage caps, etc, the Kernel-Dump is the best
choice. Do note that Kernel-Dumps are much larger in size due to containing much more info, which is why I mentioned upload speed, etc.
If you are going to use Onedrive but don't know how to upload to it, please visit the following:
Upload photos and files to Onedrive.
Please note that any "cleaner" programs such as TuneUp Utilities, CCleaner, etc, by default will delete .DMP files upon use.
If your computer is not generating .DMP files, please do the following:
1. Start > type %systemroot% which should show the Windows folder, click on it. Once inside that folder, ensure there is a Minidump folder created. If not, CTRL-SHIFT-N to make a New Folder and name it Minidump.
2. Windows key + Pause key. This should bring up System. Click Advanced System Settings on the left > Advanced > Performance > Settings > Advanced > Ensure there's a check-mark for 'Automatically manage paging file size for all
drives'.
3. Windows key + Pause key. This should bring up System. Click Advanced System Settings on the left > Advanced > Startup and Recovery > Settings > System Failure > ensure there is a check mark next to 'Write an event to the system
log'.
Ensure Small Memory Dump is selected and ensure the path is %systemroot%\Minidump.
4. Double check that the WERS is ENABLED:
Start > Search > type services.msc > Under the name tab, find Windows Error Reporting Service > If the status of the service is not Started then right click it and select Start. Also ensure that under Startup Type it is set to Automatic rather than
Manual. You can do this by right clicking it, selecting properties, and under General selecting startup type to 'Automatic', and then click Apply.
If you cannot get into normal mode to do any of this, please do this via Safe Mode.
Regards,
Patrick

Impact on BI after ECC 6.0 Upgrade from Ehp 3 to Ehp 4
Hi All,
We are planning for an upgrade of our ECC 6.0 System from Ehp 3 to Ehp 4.
Could you please provide me inputs in what needs to considered in terms of BI system?
I know the following thing:
1) Delta Queues must be cleared before the upgrade starts but what needs to be considered for FI and CO Data Sources.
Any SAP Documentation available?
Thanks,
NeeleshWhat version of BI is yours...3.5 or 7.0???
Unless the ehp4 is bringing some functional changes to FI or other functional datasources which needs to be replicated on to the BI side.
i think the below link might help.
Technical news brought with EHP3 and EHP4 compared to ECC6

BSOD after an in-place upgrade from Windows Server 2003 R2 to Window Server 2008
Xylems92 wrote:Unfortunately, we cannot take this approach. We have to move to 2008 (not R2) due to a software that runs on this machine and is validated will not run on 2008 R2 and above. In order to keep validation, we can only do an inplace upgrade. If we choose to either purchase the software upgrade or revalidate the system, both approaches will cost $80k+. So i need this to work as an in place upgrade to 2008I feel your pain, but any company worth their salt will (meaning the vendor) should know that you cannot simply perform an in-place upgrade of a Server OS.
Really the proper method is to backup everything, format and install Server 2008 (are you limited to 32-bit?), restore data/reinstall software. What's the reasoning for the upgrade? 2003 EOL or something else?
Do you have a guarantee that the software will even work on...Hello everyone.
We seem to be having an issue when doing an in place upgrade on our windows 2003 R2 server to go to Windows 2008. Every time we try and do the upgrade, once the server reboots it blue screens with no real information. Just mentioned to try and do a check disk to check for hard drive issues.
It gives us the option to go the earlier version of windows (back to 2003 R2) but nothing we have tried has succeeded so far.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Error message after Upgraded from 2.53ghz (533 FSB) to 3.2ghz (HT)
Hi! everyone,
As you can see i'm a newbie on this board, however I've frequently visited here once in a while. Anyway, the problem I currently have after I upgraded my cpu from 2.53 ghz to 3.2ghz HT (Northwood) is that I not very often (few times so forth since monday) see this error message after reboot my pc :
***Message starts here***
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you've seen this stop error restart your computer. If this message appears again, follow these step:
Run system diagnostic utility supplied by your hardware manufacturer. In particularly run a memory check and check for faulty or mismatched memory, try changing video adapters.
Disable or remove any newly installed hardware or drivers....etc.

As i stated before I've never seen this message before the upgrade. So, here is my configurations:

2.53ghz 512 FSB CPU
9500 Readon 128mb video card

* may be this causes this error message because as I read it on the discription page of the 875P NEO-LSR that it will only support DUAL channel (PC3200 type) with HT CPU. So, i suspect this may cause the problem but I havent try to rearrange my memory to one channel (1 x 2) yet.
I will greatly appreciate it if someone in here who may has experienced it before or know what all this means. Please adviseThanks for your advise bejon2000.
Here is my situation, I just freshly installed Windows XP Pro w/SP2 prior to this cpu upgrade ...I did the os last weekend and upgraded the cpu the day or two after which is monday of this week. So, can I just do the BIOS update now with the os already inplaced ??? I assum the aswer is yes, however I just wanted to confirm before I do it, you know
I've SiSoftware Utilities 2004 installed on the system as well, and after I did the Performance Tune-Up in SiSoftware ...This is what I got

Hey everyone, So I purchased a new "super fast" MSP just a few weeks ago. I am having some continuing issues with computer lagging when opening programs and what not. So far I am a little under impressed with what has been reported as lightning fast
