Allow me to dismiss / kill "Signature requires validating" banner

With monitors more squat than ever, why is Acrobat 9 using bigger icons and banners at the top?  Pretty soon there will be no space for the actual document.
Well, here's one thing to fix.  When I open a document with a questionable digital signature, I get a blue band almost half an inch high, across the whole top of the display, warning me of this.  Fine.. but I can't get rid of the banner!  I've looked through every Preferences setting and searched the web.  Stuff like this is maddening.
FEATURE REQUEST ==>  Allow the user to dismiss the "Signature requires validation" warning.
Sheesh..,

I finally discover that clicking on the yellow "alert" icon at the left end of the bar will dismiss it.  Maybe that's intuitive to someone.  Thanks to the Adobe staff and all others who took the time to explain this.

    My question is : Is this right, that I should have to "validate" signatures everytime I open this file? Or is there something I need to do to...

    The validate on open preference should be on by default, but it wouldn't hurt to check.
    Select the Edit > Preferences menu item
    Select Security from the Categories list box
    Make sure the Verify signatures when the document is opened checkbox is selected
    Click the OK button on the Preferences dialog\

    FMIS is running and I can connect via Flash Media Encoder.
    Web displays and admin console :1111 gives xml output, however

    The value for SERVER.ADMIN_PASSWORD needs to be the encrypted string for your password. That should solve your problem.

  • How to exclude Required Validation for some fields?

    Hi,
    I have a page in a form with some fields that are set as required like this:
    Field 1   Field 2
    table
    Field 3   Field4 "Add" button
    Field 5    Field 6
    "Submit" button
    There are two buttons in this form. The "Add" button is PPR allows adding Field 3 and Field 4 to the table. The "Submit" button is for the actual submission and processing. When "Add" button is pressed, I only want the require validation to be done for Field 3 and Field 4, but not Field 1/Field 2/Field 5/Field 6.
    Currently, if I press "Add" button, the required field validations are triggered for all six fields. How can I only limit the require validation to some required fields only for this button?

    subform is a great idea and kinna what I needed in this situation, but there is another challenge.
    In my case, I tried to put table, Field 3 and Field 4 in subform:
    Field 1 Field 2
    <af:subform>
    table
    Field 3 Field4 "Add" button
    </af:subform>
    Field 5 Field 6
    "Submit" button
    When I press "Add" button, Required validation still triggered for all fields. Only if I put Field 1 and Field 2 in another subform, and Field 5 and Field 6 in a different subform. Then it works like this:
    <af:subform>
    Field 1 Field 2
    </af:subform>
    <af:subform>
    table
    Field 3 Field4 "Add" button
    </af:subform>
    <af:subform>
    Field 5 Field 6
    "Submit" button
    </af:subform>
    But in my case, I need Field 1, Field 2, Field 5, Field 6 and "Submit" button to be in the same subform, as the "Submit" button applies to these four fields. In the UI design, Field 3 and Field 4 are between Field 1/Field 2 and Field 5/Field 6 though.
    Any other ideas?

    That functionality didn't exist in version 6. I got to tell you though that version 6 is way past its end-of-life and you really should be using a newer version.

    I assume that the detach button does have immediate=true set, which may be considered a bug. I don't think you can do anything against this other than filing a bug as the behavior is developed in JavaScript (which version of JDeveloper do you use?)
    and also i want to hide column hidden information

    Your comment "a zip" made me attempt to open it with winrar, and I found a manifest.fm file inside!
    So far I was editing the one at the "source" of my project and rebuilding it with netbeans.
    I am going to try that now.

  • Help with "Admin user requires valid username and password" on fms2_console.swf page

    Just installed FMS2 on Debian (etch, 2.16.5-1 kernel). When I
    connect to localhost:1111/fms2_console.swf and get the infamous XML
    output which includes the text, "Admin user requires valid username
    and password." The *.xml and *.ini files haven't been touched after
    installation. All four daemons (fmsedge, fmsmaster, fmscore,
    fmsadmin) are running and listening on the correct ports.
    Any tips? (I'm sure this is easy to solve...)

    You cannot suppress this message, even with message_level 25. If you code this for key-duprec, you will still get the message:

    In my pages I use JSF & Facelet
    In a page I have a field with Auto submit = true and another field with required = true
    When I a create a new record and add some thing in first field second field field required validation is also triggered
    Is that correct behaviour? any work around to fix it?

    Works for me. As long as the required field is empty you can AutoSubmit the Name field without seeing an error.

    so you may change the way of an organiszed vo. based on your need.

    Once the application is published, there'll be an icon in the Start Menu to run the application from. You can run the published application by clicking on the icon.
    You can, but shouldn't, actually run the published application from the setup.exe file, but defintely not "vslchost.exe".
