Alltray show/hide not working

Alltray starts fine and sends apps to the tray but I can not show/hide them at all.  Undocking works.  I'm running xfce and the system is up to date.
I was thinking maybe it is related with these errors I get when I logout of xfce.  The xfce panel never has closed gracefully.

Update:  If I run the command 'alltray program &' it runs as expected.  Running the program, running 'alltray &' and then selecting the window to minimize does not function correctly as described above.  Any ideas?

  • Jquery show/hide not working in contribute CS5 or CS6

    We use Dreamweaver templates and our users use contribute CS5 or contribute CS6 to edit webpages. We recently added some Jquery code that shows/hides DIVs on the webpage. When our users try to edit this page, the Divs are hidden they are not able to see the content to edit it. Is there a workaround for this?

    Hi motiondude,
    I am having a similar problem with CS6 and show/hide buttons in an interactive PDF. I am having the German CS6 version of InDesign (just as info).
    What my problem is: I have made some sort of „gallery“, where there are small versions of all pictures on the page, and a big version of everyone are on a pile over each other.
    When you click the small „preview“ image I made a show/hide action that it should show the big version of the picture. This worked fine on the first page where I tried this!
    But on the second page with other images it wasn’t working at all. When I opened the PDF in my Acrobat Pro (Version 10.1.7) the buttons did not show up the pictures when I
    clicked them. The first image stayed there.
    I for sure checked my setting several times, everything is fine and correct in the actions and buttons area. In the SWF preview I checked it too, everything should work fine.
    Yes, I know that this preview is just for SWF, but it is a fast checking tool for actions.
    Afterwards I also tried opening the file with the PDF viewer. The problem still was there.
    What „solved“ my problem for now was to make an idml and open the file in CS5. Making an interactive PDF out of the CS5 – and it worked!
    Though I am just at the very beginning of my document, so lets see if CS5 will be my solution until I am finished with it.
    To summ it up, it seems this is really a bug in CS6. I also read here http://forums.adobe.com/message/4482056 that this seems to be a bug. But one in the forum mentioned
    this bug should be fixed with the new release. But this was back in 2012! I have the newest update. But I still have the problem.
    Maybe it will take some time until it is fixed in the German version? I am not sure. It is really annoying.
    I think writing a bug report should be done in this case!

  • Gradient tool to show hide not work in layer masks

    I have a PS CC (201410204.r.310X640 subscription.   When I used CS5 I could use the gradient tool (black and white) to show hide content in a layer mask.  This achieved the correct smoothness I want to achieve.  In CC the tool does not work in layer masks -it removes too much or the reverse, etc.  I have no control at all over what is removed and not.   Is there a fix for this please.   The lack of the gradient tool for this effect is making CC not worth using at the mo to be honest and I am just about to give up on it.
    Many thanks for any help you can offer.
    Susan

    Thank you for the replies and I apologise for havingn taken so long but have been busy with one thing and another for a few days.
    How to explain?   What I mean is that if I have an image and I, say, then, for example, add a texture image, I could then add a layer mask to the texture lay and working in the lay mark remove or replace the texture mask as I wished... in CS5 I usually used the diamond gradient in little tiny strokes, if necessary, and this removed the texture in with a nice smooth gradient - or replaced it, depending on whether I was using black or white
    Now it does not matter how I use the gradient tool, each 'stroke' just moves the exposed part to a different place in the image
    and no matter whether the colur is set to black or white, each 'stroke' moves the exposed part to another place in the image.
    In order to replace the texture, I have to use the paint brush tool.
    I hope all this makes sense to you clever folks.   I have not reset preferences and tools but it has made no difference.
    Also, I apparently have PS versiib 2014. 2.2 Release   20141204.r30 x 64   - I have updated several times but do not know if this is the correct version.   Any ideas gratefully received.
    Many thanks.  Susan

  • Show/hide - not working when jumping slides

    Hi all - here's the scenario.
    Slide 1 - three buttons that jump to future slides (call them slide 3, 4, and 5) to display information; this slide has a longer audio file to play and direct users on how to use these buttons. Each button has an advanced action attached to it to Show a checkmark image appear on slide 2 so users can see what they clicked previously.
    Slide 2 - Same three buttons, no audio, same advanced action on each button.
    Slide 3, 4 ,5 - Slides with info on them, plus audio. On Exit each jumps back to slide 2.
    My issue is that the checkmark isn't appearing on Slide 2 when users click on a button on slide 1. If users click on a button on slide 2, the check mark appears when they come back to the page.
    I even tried adding an advanced action On Exit to slides 3, 4, 5 to make the check mark appear, but it still doesn't work on whatever button I push/slide I visit FIRST. Second attempts and other buttons work.
    Any ideas?

    Hello
    Sorry, know that I have promised to help you out but had so many deadlines and troubles yesterday. Your previous question is still marked and high on my priority list.
    You issue is linked with the fact that you have twice the same slide and I think you only need them because of the audio, they are identical for the rest. You can set the checkmarks on the first slide to display for the rest of the project and hide them on slide 3, 4, 5. Then, you'll see the checkmark on the second slide when that item has been clicked on the first slide. But the contrary will be a lot more difficult, since that means that you need the same checkmarks on both slides, but they have a different ID, what makes it a lot more cumbersome. It can be solved but will take some time.
    So my first question here is: do you really need the two slides, if it is only for the audio, that could be solved with attaching the audio to an object (posted on my blog an example where a lot of audio clips are manipulated yesterday). Is there another reason for those 2 slides?

  • Mouse.hide() not working on air/mac app

    Hi,
    I have an air app with a Mouse.hide() that is not working on the mac, but in an odd way. It has the latest AIR runtime as of the other day and I am publishing to AIR 2.0 from Flash Pro CS5. I'm making it from windows where it works fine, but the show computer is a mac mini.
    I am calling Mouse.hide on the Document class in the ADDED_TO_STAGE handler (right before going FULL_SCREEN_INTERACTIVE), as well as 2 seconds after ADDED_TO_STAGE via a timer.
    Here's the thing. If you launch the air app from the dock in osx, it works every time. However, if you launch the app from a finder window, the Mouse.hide() does not work! It also doesn't work when the app is set to run at login, as this is a trade show display setup just to run this app. It is also worth noting that in this case, the app still does have keyboard focus as the keyboard events are registering properly. Hit "M" and I've got the mouse hiding that way with no problem. Trouble is the client wants it to be automatic, so that show staff can hit the power button on the computer and be done.
    I would post my code, but seriously it's just on ADDED_TO_STAGE -> Mouse.hide() and it hasn't changed. Shouldn't that work? This has been working since the beginning of this project almost 10 months ago but just stopped working recently (within the last couple of times we have updated software on the show machines).
    I need to come up with a solution to this, but as far as I can see the only solution is to upgrade the project to run at 10.2 and air 2.7 to use native mouse cursors and load a blank cursor. To do that I think I would need to convert my .xfl project over to a flex builder project with components but I'm still not quite sure how to do that, so it would definitely take some time :/
    thanks for reading this and if you think it would help for me to show my code I'll put together a test bed.

    Hi Chris,
    Thank you for posting. Here's what I filed 6-27-13, but I did not receive a tracking # from Adobe:

    Feedback Report            : ******BUG******
    Concise problem statement:
    When using Flash Pro CS6 to build a standalone Mac .app player, this code from CS5/AS3 no longer hides the mouse cursor. SWF and .exe files are not affected.
    If you use Mouse.hide OR the FULL_SCREEN command, they work fine. Just not concurrently, like in CS5.
    Steps to reproduce bug:
    1. Use the following AS3 code together:
    stage.displayState=StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN;
    Mouse.hide();
    2. Publish .fla as .app
    Results:
    App is full screen but mouse cursor is showing.
    Expected results: Mouse should be hidden.

  • EmployeeDetailsVO extension stops Show/Hide from working on EmployeeViewsPG

    Hi,
    I am on 12.0.6. I have just extended EmployeeDetailsVO to add an extra criteria to the where clause to stop records older than the 1-SEP-2008 from being displayed. It worked successfully and the rows returned on the page EmployeeViewsPG (Nav: Employee Self Service -> Employment Information) reflect the change.
    However the Show/Hide button has stopped working. When I click show it does nothing.
    I'm not sure why extending the VO would stop this from working. Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Derrin

    Hi,
    If the sededVO has rowImpl and your adding new columns in the VO query then you need to generate VORowImpl java.
    However, You need to restrict to the view query by date '1-SEP-2008'
    Then there is no need to extend the VO, extend the controller of the page EmployeeViewsPG.
    Intiate the VO by OAViewObject vo = am.findViewObject ("FFFFF");
    and then add the where clause.
    e.g.
    OAViewObject vo = am.findViewObject ("FFFFF");
    If (vo != null)
    vo.setwherclause(null);
    vo.setwhereclause(" Date = '1-SEP-2008'");
    vo.executeQuery();
    Thanks,
    Kumar

    Upload Spry-UI-1.7 folder to your remote server by clicking the folder and hitting the UP arrow in your Files Panel.
    Also, validate your code and fix reported errors.  You have unbalanced div tags.

  • Showing layers not working in 9.3.3

    Hi, I have not working pdf file http://db.tt/zdUC1H and problem is, that showing layers doesn't work in acrobat pro extended 9.3.3 but it's actually working in 9.3.1 as well as in acrobat pro 8.
    When I enable error console this is what I get
    GeneralError: Operation failed.
    ScriptProxy.createNewLayersManagerObject:17:Doc undefined:Exec
    Line: 1: Code: 2(0x2): host is undefined
    I don't know, what's wrong

    My copy of 9.3.3 says the file you have doesn't have any layers

  • Show desktop not working in full screen app

    The thumb & three finger swipe to show the desktop does not work for me if the screen is filled with a full screen app. If hte app is not full screen then the gesture works.
    Is this  a bug, does anyone else get this, what use is the gesture if it doesn't work with full screen apps??!
    TIA,
    J

    John,
    No, the gesture doesn't work in full screen since technically there isn't a desktop under the full screen app.  I just swipe to an adjacent desktop.
    Regards,

  • Second button on menu for slide show does not work.

    Anyone else having problems with this? Despite three separate attempts using different photos, different Macs and different themes... it is always the second button (to access the second folder) in the slide show that does not work. It fails to access the slides in the folder.
    Our conclusion finally was that this is a bug, so we used only text buttons and put the second button over to the side of the main menu with just a period in it, and one image in the folder (it will not allow a folder without any images) and then we can skip from the first button to the third (seen on the screen as the second button) and bypass the problem.
    Has anyone come up with an explanation or a better solution?

  • Organizer 12 slide show editor not working

    The editor button in organizer 12 slide show is grayed out, therefore not working. Is
    there a fix for this. It is inconvenient to go back into pe12 and back to organizer just
    to fix a photo.

    Found the solution to the issue on another bulletin board. I read that if a file is imported into slide show from a pc file and not from organizer, this will happen.
    I tried this out and it was true. Here is the screen shot of the slide show with edit grayed out even though the picture is selected.

  • Spacebar Shortcut: Hand Tool Showing But Not Working

    Runing the CS6 trial on a Windows 7 Laptop (x64). I was in Photoshop (64), and noticed that when I held down the spacebar to pan the open image, the hand icon would show but the tool will not work. No matter how many times I click and drag, the image stays still. If I select the MANUALLY select the hand tool it works, but the spacebar shortcut key is non-functional. This issue persists across both the 32 & 64 bit versions of Photoshop.
    Ideas? Help?

    Hello:    I am using Photoshop CS6 and the spacebar will not function for me either.
    I am creating a circle, duplicate the layer, then i select the subtract front shape ... after this i need to be able to use the spacebar to center my subtracting circle so thatt i end up w/a nice border.
    I closed firefox but that didn't work and so then I restarted my computer w/out opening FF at all and still the spacebar will not work.
    Rather than the hand icon appearing the only thing that changes is that the small black box that shows the height and width adds the x & y demensions.
    Does anyone know if i need to turn something on or off in order to enable the spacebar?
    Thank you for your time : )

  • Web show document not working..

    Hey guys. I just recently installed the stand alone AS forms and reports server 10.1.2.0.2.. the reporting functionality is not working...
    basically the application uses the reports engine to create a PDF file which is then read by the web.show_document built in. It works on the developer AS, but doesnt work for the forms and reports AS...
    the link I am reading the file from looks like this..
    http://<IP ADDRESS>:7777/forms/reports_output/116_rec_jan.PDF
    where the "IP ADDRESS" is the IP of the sever, and "/reports_output" is a virtual directory. Do I have the wrong port or something? The file "116_rec_jan.PDF" does exist on the server so I can't see the problem...
    Could it be that I dont have adobe reader on my server? Does the AS use the server's adobe reader to read the file or the client side adobe reader? Anyone know whats going on? Thanks for your thoughts.
    Mo

    When I was testing this, I restarted the entire server. The output URL seemed to change so im guessing the OPMN picked up the changes in the forms.conf file. How do you manually restart the OPMN? Here is the line I inserted into the forms.conf file:
    AliasMatch ^/forms/reports_output/ "D:\Reports_Output"
    Below is the coding I used to create the URL for web.show_document.. I bolded what was important... a lot of the coding in here has to do with the Oracle VPD, and loading parameters into the report..
