Ally - saving pic's from txt

is there some trick to saving a picture to my gallery that I receive in a txt? a menu screen flashes very quickly when I select the picture (to zoom) from the txt message, but doesn't stay...so i cannot save the picture to my gallery. nothing in the manual on how to do this, either....help!

In the conversation list, long press the picture you want, this will bring up an options menu, then choose save.

5230 Nuron - Saving pics sent in txt msgs

I can't seem to save pictures sent in text messages but I could before today. I open the message, Select the image to open it, In the open image I press Options -> Save... and it just goes back to the message and doesn't save the image. I tried pressing Options -> Objects -> Options ->Save in the message and it just takes me back to the Inbox and doesn't save the image. It worked before. As I recall, it would ask me if I wanted to save it to the phone or the memory card. I would select the memory card and it would save it and tell me its been saved to the gallery. It's not doing that now. I checked the memory and I still have a 1gb of space on the card and 41.5 mb on the phone so room to save it isn't an issue. Any ideas?

My Iphone4 just stopped saving pics to camera roll from screen shot,email,safari,text and more.....

I have a 32gb iphone4 with ios 4.3.5(8L1). Yesterday I was given ,via sd card, 6 pictures of me that were taken a few days ago. I emailed these pics from my home computer to myself so I could save them on my iphone4, so I could edit them in Camera+ and post them on Instagram. I saved all 6 from email to my camera roll no problem. Then I imported the first one into Camera+ and edited it. When I went to save the edited picture to my camera roll it took a long time to save. (or so I thought it was saving). When I went to my camera roll to look at it my camera roll said " Rebuilding Camera Roll ". When it was done my picture was not there. So I tried again with the same outcome. Then I tried to go back to my email and save another picture. No luck, " Rebuilding Camera Roll " and no picture saved after that. So then I tried to edit a picture that I actually took with my Iphone4 built in camera and same issue. Then I tried to take a picture through Camera+ and same outcome. Then I tried to save through safari and still no luck. Then I went back to my email picture and did a screenshot. It worked!! Then I tried it again and it did not work. Then I tried to master reset and this did not fix anything. Then I turned my phone off over night thinking that would do the trick, nope! Then I tried all the above again today with no luck. Then I called Apple Tech. and they want $30 to talk to them to ask them what is wrong. That made me very disappointed since I paid over $400 dollars for my phone and pay over $1500 a year to use it. That's bad business if you ask me and will weigh in when it is time to renew. Does anyone have any insight on what the problem may be and, or how to fix it?? Please help!! Thank you very much!

Ighnot, are you jailbroken? Cause I am and I have the same problem except worse. I can't save a single pic, every single time I get the thumbnail grey box with jpg in it and the actual pic is black. Only way I get pic is by zooming in then taking screenshot and I still get the stupid safari toolbox and address bar in the pic

Error Message when Downloading Pic's from Lexar Media device

Here's my problem, when I try to download pic's from a CompacFlash card using a Lexar Media card reader into i-photo I receive the following error message.
' The Photo IMG.0001.jpg could not be opened because the original item couldnot be found' . When I hit cancel to that error message about 4 or 5 times the picture will now be downloaded and all is OK? That happens for every picture I try to down load, I have downloaded strait from the camera same results, I have tried a different Flash card and USB port no change. My guess is that something in i-photo itself has changed but what? Any help would be much appreciated.

I would like to transfer pics/vids from an old BB Curve to my Mac. I have been unsuccessful thus far...I have tried bluetooth, with no luck (although I do not want to move one pic at a time) and I have plugged into the USB but nothing happens. Any ideas...?

Have you found a solution to your problem? I, too, lost files during the upgrade to iOS 5.0. My files in Pages, Numbers and Keynote disappeared although the update said they'll be saved in iCloud. They simply vanished after the update.

I need some suggestions from experts. I saved test result in txt file with following format(See attachment). With this test result, I need draw waveform of 'DNBr' based on different OPmode(ADSL2P, VDSL2-8a...). The X-axis will be the value from 'DLS'. I can creat a complicate VI to do that. But I want to if Labview has any subvi can do this job easier.

Hi Tambrook,
read 3 (header) lines, then read the remaining data lines using "Read spreadsheet file".
Now you have to select rows by your OPmode as there's no subVI made for your data...

Auto delete everything but specified folder contents from txt file

I am brand new to using Powershell (like 48 hours into using it for work) and I've run into a bit of an issue. I've only taken a programming concept classes so some of the stuff makes sense to me but a lot of it is new. Basically I've made a
script that automatically deletes any files over X amount of days. My next step is to have an exceptions text that will have a list of folders that should not have its contents deleted. This is what I have so far.

The script below may be also helpful for you, and uses the -whatif parameter in Remove-Item cmdlet, which doesn’t actually remove anything but simply tells you what would happen if you did call Remove-Item.

That's just the sort order. It's displaying the media alphabetically because you have clicked on the NAME column near the top of the iTunes window.
Click on the little triangle above the column of numbers (usually on the far left side of the main iTunes window) and the media will sort in the order in which you added each item to the playlist.
You can easily reorder songs within a playlist: Click and HOLD on the song you wish to move, then drag-and-drop it wherever you like.

Hi,
You have 2 options: use Discoverer Administrator to export/import the workbook; or use Discoverer Desktop to save the workbook to the local drive.
You cannot save a workbook to the local drive using Discoverer Plus.

How do I delete pics/videos from my iPhone 4 if it is not even able to do a restore/backup? A couple days ago I received an alert on my phone that said something like, "You cannot make or receive calls. Connect to iTunes to restore." I connected to iTunes and backed up the phone then started the restore. Before the restore could begin it ended the process and said, "Something is wrong with your iPhone please contact support, Apple Store etc". The Apple Store could not even complete a restore. I have since got a new iPhone but, I want to sell the old phone and I am afraid all my info/pics can be retrieved. Is there any other way to delete all of my pics, videos etc?

You should be able to:
Backup the device to the new windows installation
Transfer your purchases into a newly authorized library
Recover any other media using third party tools as suggested in this post from forum regular Zevoneer
Restore the device from the backup
This process should switch the association of the device to the new library, preserving the data and settings in your apps.
May also be prudent to attempt a backup to iCloud directly from the device before you start... Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup > On. It won't save any media but it would preserve the general account settings and documents in case anything goes wrong while you are trying to extract your other data.
When you get it all fixed, make a backup! (Windows tip). For a Mac use Time Machine or Carbon Copy Cloner.
