Alphabetical order in Zen mozaïc

Hello,
I just bought a Creative zen mozaic 8 Go and i have a problem with the file's classification in my Album : In each album, i have first all uneven songs in decreasing order and secondly, all even songs in increasing order. I know somebody who have the same problem. Does anyone have an idea ?

In the computer era, it is rather incredible to have to order manually a list of items (about 200 in my case).
I understand they have taken launchpad as it is on iOS4, but using it with a "normal" OS (Lion, for that matter) without the ordering possibility the silliest computer is able to do, it is unbelievable limitating.

I found a 77 pages on this subject but I'll just start my own thread. Is there any way to get the Zen Sleek Photo 20 gig to play songs in track order. I listen to alot of li've shows and it really sucks to have to listen to the "talking" tracks back to back instead of in the order their supposed to be. You ever try to listen to a Pink Floyd or Tool cd in alphabetical order? they don't make much sense. Don't really want to have the **bleep** thing on random all the time. If there's no way to change this on mine could some one point me to one that will play in track order. I'd rather carry my laptop around if it can't be changed. How annoying.

We've always had this problem on the flash memory players like the MuVos. What we do is rename the files so that they start 0, 02, 03 etc. Our versions of Media Explorer have a Custom Sort function that will do this automatically for us.

Photos. They are on my macBook, backed up on time machine. Copied them (hours and hours) to external hard drive. They are now in alphabetical order (19,000 of them) NOT IN THEIR EVENTS or date order-and have been taken with different cameras- help!!!!!!

They are on my macBook, backed up on time machine. There are 19,000+ of them, some rescued from a pc crash- which I used the nifty iPhoto to put back into date order.
I want to take them all off my laptop, now............as I need to use it for WORK!!
Copied them (hours and hours) to another external hard drive.
They are now in alphabetical order (all 19,000+ of them) NOT IN THEIR EVENTS or date order. (-They have also been taken with different cameras over the years and some of the generic camera numbering remains.)
I have tried to copy them (only a few as an experiment) one event at a time, but that again "opens up" the Event "folder" and tips them out as individuals and therefore just lists image letters and numbers alphabetically.
How can I copy
the whole library still in "Events" to an external hard drive?
the folders/albums I have already made on to this hard drive?
and how can I add to this back up monthly, again keeping events and folders separate and updated?
Mac is so user friendly - there must be a way.........

UPDATE : I have re-installed from disk, various apps that were no longer functioning such as iLife, iWork etc. So, I now can access my photos again.
Also, I had to re-install all the software for my printer ( Stylus Pro 4880 ) and reset it so the printer is working again.
Photoshop CS4 won't open. I think I will have to get in touch with Adobe as basically, I guess they have a built-in "blocker" which prevents me from opening the app as the license is for only 1 user and having re-installed the OS, there are now, in effect, 2 users ( Me and Me 1, I think ).
So, having added on a new external HD, Time Machine has made a copy of most of the files, folders, apps etc onto the external HD. The internal HD is still nearly full ( 220 GBs out of 232 GBs ).
I am guessing the way to go now in order to free up space on the internal HD is to delete/trash older photos from my iPhoto library and hope that if needed, I will be able to access them on the external HD.
Am I correct ? Please advise before I do something I will regret.

non-binary index (those are my particular preference) you may
right-click the index and sort the terms. (Inside RoboHelp, not in
the compiled output)

When I import an album into ITunes...it puts the song list in alphabetical order. How do I get it to import the album order?

Any suggestions on how I can import an album without the songs going to alphabetical order? The last few times I have imported....I cannot get the play list to come up in the album order.

Having downloaded and installed the latest Maverick Ios I now have a problem with mail.All my mailboxes were in alphabetical order now they are arrange randomly under my mail account, sync does not rearrange them whilst the order in the ISP account is in

I have downloaded Maverick 10.9 and installed , now my mailboxes in mail are randomly arranged as opossed to being in alphebetical order from A at the top to Z at the bottom how do you rearrenge the mailboxes in an alphbetical order.
Sync with my provider Gmail does not rearrange them on my Imac

Shows the way the mailboxes are listed in the mail program under any particular provider, in my case I have three mail provider accounts with mail moved from the inbox to the appropraite mailbox eg [email protected] , Xero - where the incomeing mail is filed.
My problem is to arrange these mailboxes/folders in an alphabetical order under the [email protected] account

All my folders display in finder in alphabetical order a to z. However when I add a file as an attachment to an email the window that opens for me to select the folder from now displays them in alphabetical order from z to a. How can I alter it? Thank you

I created four (4) similar two (2) page file tables as an inventory of the contents of four (4) file crates full of LP vinyl record albums. How can these four (4) files be merged into a single file, then arranged in alphabetical order (by artist)?

I am using "pages" version 5.5 (2109) as updated in its newest version after installing Yosemite OS X 10.10 on my 21.5 inch Mac desktop computer. When I printing the second file as a two sided document on a single sheet of paper, it only printed the first side. I looked at the copy of the file on my screen, and saw that the second page was also blank on my screen. I opened the original locked version of the 68 row, 4 column table, and found that both pages, 34 rows on each page, were intact, but when I saved it again, locked it, and reopened a duplicate copy, the second page again was not there. I ended up printing a copy of the original file, but I am nit able to save more than one page of the two page original. I would like to do this so I can edit the list without altering the original. I would eventually like to merge all four tables into one document, than arrange the entire merged file in alphabetical order. I would like to do this and have not been able to. This was the original question I had before I lost the second page of the second file table.

In general theory, one now has the Edit button for their posts, until someone/anyone Replies to it. I've had Edit available for weeks, as opposed to the old forum's ~ 30 mins.
That, however, is in theory. I've posted, and immediately seen something that needed editing, only to find NO Replies, yet the Edit button is no longer available, only seconds later. Still, in that same thread, I'd have the Edit button from older posts, to which there had also been no Replies even after several days/weeks. Found one that had to be over a month old, and Edit was still there.
Do not know the why/how of this behavior. At first, I thought that maybe there WAS a Reply, that "ate" my Edit button, but had not Refreshed on my screen. Refresh still showed no Replies, just no Edit either. In those cases, I just Reply and mention the [Edit].
Also, it seems that the buttons get very scrambled at times, and Refresh does not always clear that up. I end up clicking where I "think" the right button should be and hope for the best. Seems that when the buttons do bunch up they can appear at random around the page, often three atop one another, and maybe one way the heck out in left-field.
While I'm on a role, it would be nice to be able to switch between Flattened and Threaded Views on the fly. Each has a use, and having to go to Options and then come back down to the thread is a very slow process. Jive is probably incapable of this, but I can dream.

How do I get my drop down lists in alphabetical order?

Got a new computer and installed Firefox 3.6.10. I moved over my bookmarks, etc. from the old computer. However, all of my drop-down lists are not in alphabetical order any more. And if I use one of the entries, it will sometimes move to a different order than it had been when I clicked on it. How do I get them back in alphabetical order?

The entries for form field are in current Firefox version is the order that you add them and not ordered alphabetically.<br />
Maybe an extension like Autofill Forms can sort them.
I'm not using it, so you need to check that yourself.

I can no longer organize my drop down book mark list ,from the toolbar in alphabetical order like I used to Why ?

Used to, I could organize my drop down book mark list from the tool bar, in alphabetical order from A-Z by clicking on view, sort by, select . Now every time I add a new bookmark it goes to the bottom of my bookmark list in Unsorted bookmarks . I can go to the bookmarks and sort the menu in Alpha. order. However, when I go back and drop down the bookmark list from the tool bar, the new bookmarks are still in the Unsorted list at the bottom. The bookmark's menu may or not have them in assorted list. This occurred several updates back. Why can I no longer sort the drop down book marks list in A-Z alph. order? This is a major obstacle when trying to search for a particular bookmark that I have made in the not too distant past.

That did solve my problem. Madperson Thank You Very Much!!!!! I'm not real literate on the mechanics of working computers even though I use them all the time. Basically I'm a point & click kinda guy and beyond that I'm pure novice! This is going to save me a lot of wasted time.

I wish to put my photo albums in alphabetical order. Advice was to right click on pane at left. I do not have a left pane on my i-pad and only have touch screen,what do I "right click" with and how do I get a "left pane" in my Photos folder?

I don't have iPhoto on my iPad, so I can't help with that, but you must have looked at advice for a Mac computer? Maybe browse the iPhoto for iOS forum?

How can I get my thunderbird address book to show up in alphabetical order by surname?

When entering my email addresses in the address book they do not show up in alphabetical order by surname. What do I do to get it to do so?

I have this same problem, but my Address Book doesn't stay sorted. I have to sort it on "Email" address first, then sort it on "Email". Then, and only then, can I find an email address. I have to do this EVERY time I send an email. After I return to Thunderbird, the email addresses are jumbled again.

I click on the bookmarks button on the Firefox browser and the folders that hold the bookmarks are not in any particular order. I would like the folders to be in alphabetical order when I see them...when I click on the bookmarks button at the top of the browser. When I go to organize bookmarks I can sort them so they are in alphabetical order, but they do not show up that way when you just click on the bookmark button to get to your bookmarks. How to switch from reverse alphabetical order?

Please forgive a newbie question: when I open a list view of my hard drives in Finder, the names of the folders are listed in reverse alphabetical order, with the Z's on top, and the A's on the bottom. How can I change it so that it displays the A's on top and the Z's on bottom, whenever I open the view? Thanks in advance.

Click the "Name" bar, so the small triangle faces up again.
You know you can also sort by Date Modified, etc, just click on the column's topbar.

Photos for iOS: How can i sort all of my albums automatically in alphabetical order

first off, why isn't there a a community for the new Photos app?
Anyway, here is my problem:
How can i sort my albums on the new Photos app on iOS?
I think it's not possible at the moment.
I am using the iCloud Photo library and uploadet all of my 15.000 photos from the last 15 years.
And because of that, i now have many many albums on Photos now.
Overall i love the new app and i love the iCloud Photo library, but i cannot sort my albums on the iOS app automatically in alphabetical order.
I can sort albums manual, but who wants that, when you have so many of them???
I have Photos on my Mac too and there i am able to do sort them in alphabetical order. But it is not adopted to iOS or the iCloud Web-App.
Because of that, i have a complete picture chaos on my iPhone and when i am looking for this one pic in that one album it takes me forever to find it.
So please Apple, fix this and we all can live happily ever after!

Moments in Photo are the new Events. T
here's a way to simulate events in Photos.
When the library was first migrated there was a folder created titled iPhoto Events and all migrated iPhoto Events are represented by an album in the folder. To open the sidebar if it's not open use the Option+Command+S key combination.
When new photos are imported into the Photos library go to the Last Import smart album, select all the photos and use the File ➙ New Album menu option or use the key combination Command+N. Name it as desired. It will appear just above the iPhoto Events folder where you can drag it into the iPhoto Events folder
When you click on the iPhoto Events folder you'll get a simulated iPhoto Events window showing all of the albums.
The downside to this simulation is that the Album/Events can only be sorted automatically by Title while viewed in the Folder in the main window or in the sidebar. But they can be sorted manually.
