Alphbetization/classification is incorrect

I upgraded to 3.1.1 and Itunes 9 for my iPod touch. When I got to Artists, the side scroll bar does not work (it's like all of the artists are classifed as beginning with "A"). On the Songs list, they are almost all classified as beginning with "A", except for a handful which are classified incorrectly (any song titles beginning with a number are under the B's, D's, or G's). Albums are all classified as beginning with "A." I miss being able to use the side scroll bar to go directly to the "S's."
I noticed that people had this problem with podcasts and playlists, but is anyone having the same problem with artists/songs/albums?
Thanks!

  • DB Adapter - DB2 Graphic Datatype Error

    Hello,
I am running into an issue with using the DB Adapter to insert into a DB2 database hosted on an AS/400. The column I am attempting to insert into is a graphic datatype which contains character data. The table is a JD Edwards table where character data is stored in graphic columns.
My development environment consists of the following:
    J Developer 11.1.1.5
    SOA Suite 11.1.1.5
    DB2/400 Version 6, release 1
    JDBC Driver - IBM JT400.jar
    WebLogic 10.3.5
When I run the composite application in WebLogic, the process faults at the insert statement (error messages are posted below). When I look at my or-mappings.xml file I find the following mapping for the column causing the error:
    <attribute-mapping xsi:type="direct-mapping">
    <attribute-name>absic</attribute-name>
    <field table="F0101" name="ABSIC" xsi:type="column"/>
    <attribute-classification>[B</attribute-classification>
    </attribute-mapping>
The attribute-classification seems incorrect. In J Developer 10, the attribute-classification was java.lang.String. When I manually change this attribute to java.lang.String, the application works correctly. This same error happens on all graphic datatype columns. At the top of the or-mappings.xml file, there is a reference to eclipselink. In J Developer 10, I think there was a reference to Toplink vs Eclipselink. So it appears that J Developer is now using EclipseLink by default to create the or-mappings.xml file.
I would rather not have to change the attribute-classification each time I want to create an insert statement. Is there a way to fix/configure how J Developer/EclipseLink creates this mapping? Is it safe to manually edit the or-mappings.xml file?
    Thanks in advance.

Resolution: Oracle created a patch for J Developer to solve the problem. Essentially the patch mapped the graphic datatypes to string datatypes. This was the behavior in Oracle 10g. I'm not sure how things are going to work if/when we have a graphic column that actually contains binary data instead of string.

Just as an FYI for anyone else running into this problem - we have had an SR open with Oracle Support for a while on this and they are working on the issue.
    The problem is essentially this:
JDE Oneworld running on iSeries/DB2 utilized CCSID 65535 GRAPHIC data types behind the scenes to handle storage of unicode information in EBCDIC. The JDBC driver handles this conversion for you, returning unicode data as long as you include the "translate binary=true" clause in the JDBC connection string. The driver returns string/nchar data for these CCSID 65535 GRAPHIC fields - they are not returned to the client as binary/clobs.
SOA Suite 10.1.3.4.0 used "Oracle Toplink - 10g Release 3" for object persistence and mappings. In 11g, this was swapped out to use "Eclipse Persistence Services 2.x.x" for the object persistence and mappings. The original Toplink had a default behavior, that if it did not understand the type of the field, it would assume that the driver was handling it and would assume it was a string value, ie it would map it as xs:string and NCHAR. So one could argue (and Oracle support did...) that it was a bug that this ever worked in 10g/OAS. However it was a bug that worked out favorably. Eclipse Persistence Services did not have this bug, and whenever the developers see a GRAPHIC db data type, they assume that the information being returned to the client by the JDBC driver is in xs:base64Binary format.
Bottom line if you do a simple hello world java project to use the jdbc driver and return the value, and examine that in hex, it is returning straight string values, not xs:base64Binary format stuff that need blob conversion code run.
The good news is that Oracle has come up with a solution and is working on a patch for Oracle SOA 11.1.1.6.
As a side note - Vince came up with a temporary workaround to get this working, which involves changing the three generated mappings/schema files manually to update the types, and per a suggestion from a very helpful Oracle technical Sales resource (Mike Loos) was working on an ant script to automate that process.
If you need any more details, post and let us know. Vince or I will update this message when the patch is available.

  • Incorrect Classification of Website in IronPort

Hi - my website has been incorrectly categorised as Shopping, when it should instead be Online Community, as it is a forum discussing plastic modelling.  I've tried to request a reclassification myself, but it's incredibly difficult from my experience, and some of my searches have indicated I'm not the only one suffering.  A number of our members are being locked out of the site by their IT department, including one of our administrators, which is inconvenient, as every time she asks for it to be unblocked, it gets re-blocked with the next update.
    Can someone please help?
    TIA
    Mike.

Yes I did at the time (sorry for the delay - only just got notified), and got this response when I logged in:
Your Cisco account does not currently have the proper credentials to access this resource!
Your Cisco Account Profile needs to be associated with an Active service contract. For more information, visit our FAQ page.
Seems like I need to be a customer with a service contract to get my site re-assessed.  The inference from that is "you can't have your website reassessed unless you're giving us money".  Not what I'd call a fair situation if it's true, and would lead to accusations of holding sites to ransom or sharp-practice if it became common knowledge.
Any ideas how I get past this?  I have absolutely no need of Cisco services because I'm a private individual and my site is hosted on a managed server, but IronPort is preventing my members visiting when on certain computers.  Perhaps rename it to Iron(misre)Port?
    Mike.

  • Storage values under about this mac displaying incorrectly, but amount of space used IS correct. Any ideas?

I noticed recently that the "storage" under "about this mac" is displaying incorrectly. It doesn't show the correct values for my photos, videos, and audio files. It classifies this data under "other". I have been searching all over the internet, I went to the Apple genius bar yesterday and they recommended I re-install OSX. I did and it still shows up incorrectly. They were baffled, said they never really came across this issue. I have tried re-indexing spotlight, that didn't seem to help.
The amount of storage used IS correct. It just doesn't show up under the correct categories in storage, under about this mac. Also, the computer seems to work fine. No real issues. It's a mid 2012 MBP. 500gb hard drive. Most recent OSX is installed.
I DO NOT think it is local snapshots, cause my backups category is small and the amount of space used and free is correct. I have downloaded omnidisk sweeper to confirm this.
I have seen a few posts on here and around the web referring to this, but no real answers. I have also reviewed Pondini's info on this to no avail.
    Does anyone have any ideas?!?!

    Also,
I had installed a version of parallels with windows 7, but deleted it. Would parallels be causing my computer to index incorrectly? I I used appcleaner to delete all the parallels files so I do not have it anymore.

    Hi ,
I  had Solve my problem ,
This error can happen because of many reason,
    1. The insistence for tax code would be because the G/L account used
has been made relevant for tax. Hence the system will not allow to post
    the document without tax code.
    2. If the tax code is not activated for any condition type (maintainanceof tax rate) using table 003 (Tax classification).
    3. If G/L accounts are not assigned to any deductible condition in the
    tax procedure.
    4. If it is an input tax code then not assiging it to company code
    in the following customising node.
SPRO > Logictics general > Tax on goods mvmt > India > Determination
of excise duty > Asssign tax code to company code..
    5. If the requirement routine 166 is assigned to the main service tax
    condition also.

  • Customize change docs for classification

    Hi all,
I need to activate change documentation in order to be able to track changes for classification characteristics. In SPRO found that I can set it in Cross-Application Components >> Classification System >> Classes >> Maintain Object Types and Class Types
I'm interested in tracking changes of materials so chose table MARA and class type Material Class but to activate change docs there is need to set first "multiple objs allowed" and to do it I had to start RCCLUKA2 program. I did it for my class type, program has finished, it has created 2 files in DIR_HOME (DSKSSK,DSAUSP). Files are still on application server.
And here is my problem because checkbox "Multiple objs allowed" in SPRO still is not checked in spite of fact that program has finished without any errors. I tried to run report once again but got message: "Entries already exist in the INOB; check data"
I checked table TCLA field MULTOBJ and it's is empty for my Class Type. I have no idea what to do. Please help what to do in such situation and how to activate this change documentation for classification.
Thanks in advance for any help!
    Best regards,
    Darek

There are a couple of reason but part of it is following the whole "Don't change SAP standard, rather create a copy with a z naming convention for changes principle".
As a consulting company and given the fact that we are not the owners of the system, we sometimes don't have the opportunity to investigate if any objects are used elsewhere and in some cases, users themselves aren't aware that they are using the system in other areas (for example, some people don't realise that documents in the DMS are used in other areas like EH&S). By creating copies, we eliminate the possibility of making a change which may adversely affect another working area of the system that the project initiator is unaware of. It doesn't happen often that you make a change that impacts on others, but i'd rather take precautions than solve the issues afterwards.
We've also found that in some cases customers are incorrectly using something for the wrong purpose. For example, we found someone using the document structure type for reporting areas in another area of PM so we couldn't implement EasyDMS because they had changed one of the standard object types.

  • CIF Material Classification

    Hi All,
We use Material Classification (001 type) in R/3 system.   But not able to transfer via CIF to APO.
The Characteristics are already transferred, but I had to create Class manually in APO (using CL01) and assigned all Characteristics to that Class.
But now, we I do material master CIF Material classification values not transferred (no values exists in CL20N).
Also, another question, Like R/3 material master, should Classification tab/view in APO Product Master show material classification? or this Classification view meant only for CDP/CBP?
    Thanks,
    Niranjan

    Hi Senthil,
    1. When I execute Material model (contains only material and plants) in CFM1 it shows in the next screen only "Material master data" and in details  it shows only material, mat description and Plant.  I don't see Class anywhere. So that means class is incorrectly maintained?  But We could maintain classification values correctly in Material Master.
    2. Class and Char are created in APO. Chars got transfered using CIF but I had to create Class manually in APO.
    3. So Classification view in Product master is only for CDP,  we don't see material classification values in product master. Do we need to use CL20N?

  • Classification - Customer Master

    To All,
A customer encountered a system problem a few weeks ago when creating customer master records.  The users didn't report the problem and all the logs and short dump records are no longer available so its really not possible to determine what event in the system actually occurred.
According to the end users they saw a "System Error" message but were able to create and save customer master records so assumed the records were fine.
However a result of this event in the system has caused inconsistent data in the classification tables.
Example a customer is not assigned to class yet has the characteristics populated in the AUSP table.  When you view the customer via XD03 the class is not assigned.
Question is has anyone ever experienced these types of data discrepancies an if so what is the best approach to clean up the erroneous data.
3 Customers were incorrectly assigned classification data (actually from a different customer master record) and they also were created out of sequence.
Buffering of customer numbers is set to 5.
Any comments appreciated on why this may occur.

    Dear All,
I have idea about the use of these Tax Categories and Tax Classifications..
But I just wanted to know why they are four??
and if my material is liable for Tax and Customer is also liable to pay Tax OR even in any permutation what to maintain in these Classification...
shall I maintain "1" for every Tax Category OR only one is enough OR it has some specific maintanence required???
Which one will be considered out of FOUR while determining Tax Code??
    Thanks..

  • DIAdem cross classification of data (lambda and temperature)?

    Hi,
I'm looking for a way to cross classify data in DIAdem. I have two rows of data, Temperature and Lambda, which I would like to cross classify in given temperature and lambda bins. IE how often (frequency) is the temperature between 400-410 degrees at the same time as lambda is between 0.91-0.92 .. and so on for all possible combinations.
My english is a bit rusty so I think an example of how the data looks and how I would solve it in Excel looks:
    Indata:
    lambda Temp
    0,920  850
    1,000  700
    1,000  810
    1,100  840
    1,000  840
    0,980  890
    0,970  890
    1,000  790
    0,950  800
    0,400  950
    0,400  790
    0,700  800
    1,020  800
    intervals:
    lambda temperature
    0,9   800
    0,95 810
    1      820
    1,05   830
    1,1 840
    1,15 850
    1,2
    Result:
In each cell in the matrix I use the SUMPRODUCT for the conditions, ex. lambda <0,9 and 820<T<=830. Also note that I want the values outside the boundaries to be counted in the lowest/highest values.

Hello, and thanks for your answer. I've looked a bit at the Compound Classification function, but haven't been able to get the results I'd like, but I suspect that is down to myself more than the program,. :-) (I am a beginner at DIAdem)
This is the result I'd expect given the listed indata and using the following intervals (see image):
    http://img139.imageshack.us/my.php?image=crossclassificationsl2.png
(taken from my Excel calculations - I tried pasting the excel table directly but the forum complained that my message exceeded 10000 characters then.. ?!)
However, I think I'm chosing my intervals incorrectly in DIAdem/Compound Classification, so if anyone could use my indata and reproduce the excel results using DIAdem I'd be very happy to know how.. as it'd show me how to think.
On a related issue, is there any way to use a list of values as input for intervals as in some cases I'd like the intervals to vary and be smaller around the most interesting point. For example lambda:
    (<0.7)
    0.7
    0.8
    0.9
    0.91
    0.92
    0.93
    1.08
    1.09
    1.1
    1.2
    (>1.3)
    Thanks in advance,

  • We can´t change the class in Material Master classification Tab (MM02)

When i trying to delete the class in the Classification tab in PRD System, it triggers the following message
'Assignment (# material) (classname) can not be deleted' because If you use classification data for selection of components of the BOM. Or if the material still has lots that are classified.
But in QAS System it is possible to delete the class from Classification tab.
Can you explain me, why it works in QAS and not in PRD?

To delete the batch class  from your material, you will need  to first archive the batch (object MM_SPSTOCK).  Once the
batch are archived and deleted from the system, you may still have to run program RCCLZUOB.  This program looks for objects which are still incorrectly assigned to classes.  First run the program in Test mode (Delete flag is NOT set).
Then you can set the Delete flag to delete the assignments.  Once the assignments are deleted, you should be allowed to delete the Class assignment in MM02.  You must save the material and then go back in change mode to make a new class assignment.
    Also review SAP note 113091.

  • Taxing incorrectly on sales doc

This is incorrect...they should only be taxed based on the plant address.  Can anyone give me some ideas as to where this is configured and can be changed?

Your statement is a bit confusing.  Standard tax determination takes into account the following values:
Tax Departure Country -- From the plant (standard sales) or sales organization (I/C sales)
Destination Country -- From the ship-to
Customer Tax Classification -- Using the country and tax category of the plant
Material Tax Classification -- Using the country and tax category of the plant
Can you explain a bit further, please?
    Thanks,
    Ben
