Already bought music not showing up?

You know how you can go to Purchases and see songs that aren't on your iPod/iPhone/iPad?
Well, when I try to look at all the songs not on the iPhone (177 songs) it crashes when looking. I did the same thing on my iPad and it works just fine (actually was able to download songs )
Any ideas? I'd like to get some of that good ol' music that I used to listen to

I lost alot of music when my computer crased and I emailed itunes and they let me redownload all of my music for free, but they said that I counld only do that one time. Right now I am sitting here downloading my music to blank cd's so that if my library is ever lost again, I can just put in the cd's and have the music again.

I preordered the rhcp album "I'm With You" and I downloaded it to my Macbook Pro the other night when it was available. Today, I tried downloading it from cloud when I wasn't near my computer but it didn't show up in the Purchased section. I got the music to my phone via my Macbook Pro but still the music is not showing up in my cloud. What is the issue here?

The Purchased Music folder isn't a smart playlist.
To find all your Purchased Music, forget about the list in the Shopping Cart and create a Smart Playlist whose sole criteria is:
Kind contains protected AAC
Tick the 'Live updating' box and click OK. That Smart Playlist will then show you all your purchased music, regardless of how you bought it.

In researching the issue you are experiencing I found an article that should help get your iTunes Match content to your iPhone. The name of the article is iTunes: How to add a computer or iOS device to iTunes Match and you can find it here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4913.
This section specifically:
To add an iOS device to iTunes Match
On your iOS device, go to Settings > Music.
Note:
iTunes Match requires iOS 5.0.1 or later; you can find the
latest iOS software here'
Tap the iTunes Match switch to On.To access your music in iCloud, open the Music Player app on your device.
Your music in iCloud will be integrated into your local music library. A download button will appear to the right of any content that you have in iCloud that doesn't already exist on your device.
Important:
When enabling iTunes Match on your iOS device, the music library on your iOS device will be deleted and then replaced with your music in iCloud.
Syncing music with iTunes will be disabled while iTunes Match is enabled on your iOS device.
By default, when adding an iOS device to iTunes Match, downloading over a cellular network is enabled1. To disable downloading over cellular for iTunes Match, choose Settings > Music > Use Cellular Data > Off.

Is the ID that you are using on the forums your Adobe ID? We checked an account using that ID and did not see any orders in that list.

If you have no back up of your purchases you can't simply download replacements. The policy on lost purchases is that you have to pay to download them again:
"Once a Product is purchased and you receive the Product, it is your responsibility not to lose, destroy, or damage the Product, and Apple shall be without liability to you in the event of any loss, destruction, or damage."
You could try contacting the iTunes Music Store Customer Service and you might be able to persuade them to sanction a second free download. There have been occasional reports in the iTunes forum of this happening, however just be aware that they are not under any obligation to do so. I have purchased muisc and movies and they are not showing in my purchased folder, have only 8 songs showing as purchased. However, the purchased items are in my music library.

Did you recently hide your purchases?
If you did, try unhiding your purchases, as e4joker suggests here -> Re: Unable to see purchased music in purchased folder
To unhide your purchases
    Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
    If you're not already signed in, choose Store > Sign in.
    Choose Store > View My Account. (You may be asked to enter your password again).
    On your Account Information summary, scroll down to the "iTunes in the Cloud" section and click Manage.
    Choose a content type by clicking Music, TV shows, Apps, or Books from the top.
    Click the Unhide button next to the item you would like to restore.
Note: If the item you are unhiding is not already downloaded on your computer locally, it will begin downloading automatically.

Dowloaded music via wifi on itouch, music not showing...

I have downloaded two songs via wifi on my itouch, they're not showing in purchases or music, yet they say on itunes that I have already purchased them. How can I get them onto my purchased/music? I have restarted the itunes and music app and also restarted my itouch a few times but nothing has changed

Great news! I called Apple and was granted some clutch assistance. We still cannot explain why this just randomly started occurring, but the resolve was essentially to manually turn off the 5 ghz band signal on my linksys e3200 dual band router. So now it's no longer a dual band router, only running on 2.4ghz, but Airplay is back up and running on my Mac and iPad 2. Big thanks to Apple tech support rep Anthony (I think), Jocelyn at customer support and Chris B. for making sure this issue was routed and resolved with speed. Apple you guys rock yet again!

I have an I phone 5 I have tried putting music on and it's not showing on my music app but in iTunes it shows the music has been transferred to the phone.
I have also purchased an album with the phone and still won show up say that there is no content can someone help or let me know what I'm doing wrong ?

I suggest a few things for this situation.Steps 1, 3, and 5, from the iPhone Troubleshooting Assistant, found here specifically http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/assistant/phone/#section_1.
If you get to step 3 then I recommend closing ALL the apps. Here is step 1 to get you started.
Restart iPhone
To restart iPhone, first turn iPhone off by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider and iPhone will turn off after a few moments.
Next, turn iPhone on by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Is iPhone not responding? To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If your device does not turn on or displays a red battery icon, try recharging next.

Music not showing up in my Music Library after moving to another drive

My C: drive was full, so I moved the file to my F: drive (have done this before, but somehow it only copied it and reverted to the old location on C).
I found multiple iTunes folders throughout my many drives and got rid of all but the ones on the F: drive. It now shows multiple folders with all my songs on F: drive. However, they do not show up in my Music Library. I've tried the preferences \advanced \general \copy music to library trick and still nothing. Don't think I lost the music since I have all these folders (1 for each artist) and it looks like a lot of bytes.
Please help..
Alternatively, I'd like to know how to get the whole library on my laptop and off of this old computer that ran out of space. The F: drive is detachable.

Do you use iTunes Match? Others have complained that it can take some time (overnight?) for items to appear in their library because of Match activities.
Can you play a file with Quicktime Player? Is it complete?
Delete an item from the library but not the actual file. Add the file again.

Some Music Not Showing Up In Cloud

I have an iMac. I recently purchased an iMatch account. I can't get the music that I've imported from cd's to load in the iCloud, only my iTunes purchased music is showing up in the cloud. Is there a simple step I'm missing? Thanks.

Music Not Showing up in Library

I have the latest edition of iTunes and just discovered something odd.
Sometimes I drag & drop folders of MP3 music that I got from other sources directly into my iTunes Music folder.
I just realized that this music does not show up in my Library in iTunes unless I specifically use the "Add Folder To Library" feature in iTunes.
HUH?
Is there any way to have iTunes atomatically scan the iTunes Music folder for new additions and automatically add them to the library? I can't understand why it wouldn't do this...but it's not.

Music not showing up in library after drag and drop (7.0)

Music will not show up in library after draging and dropping .mp3's into itunes. Also won't show up if I try the File > Add Folder to Library. The processing files box shows up like its going to work, but it just doesn't. I have tried many differnet mp3's, some actually DID import.
Also, double clicking on an mp3 will bring up itunes, but it will not load or play the song.
I currently have 55.5GB of music, and 10,158 songs. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Manually synced music not showing up under the artist

When I manually add songs to my iphone 4 from my iTunes library they are not showing up on my phone under when I go to the artist. Oddly, when I search for the song title the song will come up and it plays, and it shows the artist name correctly when it is playing. I updated both iTunes and the phone. I've done a reset. I've deleted the songs in question from the phone and then re-added them, only to have the same problem.
This problem doesn't happen with every song I add, but it always happens to the same songs. When I sync the phone, I can find them in the phone window of iTunes and they're there correctly sorted by artist (and play fine)! These songs are CD imports (not iTunes purchases). I have "manually manage music" on, and iCoud is off.

Are they marked as 'Part of a compilation' when you look at the song info on iTunes? This is quite common in some albums like soundtracks. If yes, then you'll probably find them under 'Various Artists' in the Artist section.
You can uncheck the compilation box if you wish, that should do the trick.
