Already Released Amiibos Showing Release Date of 12/31/15

I preordered 4 recent release Amiibos from BestBuy.com, Meta Knight, Toon Link, King Dedede, and Bowser. Only Bowser and Toon Link have shipped so far (last week) while Meta Knight and King Dedede are showing their release as 12/31/2015. From what I've heard you're selling all of the Amiibos in your stores right now, so it leaves me to wonder about my online order.

Hello Link2999,
We appreciate you taking the time to contact us about your Amiibo purchase.  Usually 12/31/2015 is a place holder for when the items release date has been officially announced.  Please continue to check your order information by clicking here and items page here for updates.

  • Why appearing software is up to date while ios 7 was already released

ios 7 was already released but why does my phone shows that "your software is up to date ios 6.1.4"?

Released is one thiing, going through the update process is another.
Tap Settings > General > Software Update to update to iOS 7 or connect your iPhone to a computer and update using iTunes.

  • Best way to show movie release date by year under "Movies" section

I am a proud owner of a new 2nd gen Apple TV. It does everything I hoped. I am using IDentity 2 to capture the movie Metadata and import into a new m4v file. All data is trnsferred into iTunes. The question: What is the best way to have the release year show in Apple TV? I currently have a description, actor, director, time, etc showing. The Metadata is taken from IMDB, so the release date is listed in the video description when I "get info" in iTunes. As you can imagine, I don't want to manually input the release year in every movie file name. Any suggestions?

No asnswer. I can't find an answer on the web either. How many more years till Apple fixes this?

  • App store ratings are gone? Just shows release date.

Ok I went in the app store and it's only showing the date the app was released and no stars like always and it's not showing how many ratings under the app just the release date. I went on my iPhone and it shows star ratings and how many users rated.
Is it just my ipad or is something weird happening or a update or what.
Please let me know guys if this is happening on your ipad.

can anyone look at the app store and let me know if you see star ratings and how many users rated in top charts because it just shows me release date..
    thanks so much

  • I appreciate Albums showing in order of release date

i like that in the new version of iTunes (11.0.1), Albums show in order of release date (in Artist view).
This makes it convenient to listen to the progression of a musician or singer through time; i enjoy it
    Thank You Apple.

Just downloaded iOS 7.1 last night and noticed the same exact thing....I have my entire library arranged by release date and used to be able to start at the first album and play through a bands entire catalogue. Aggravated to say the least.

  • How do I change the release date on a TV show in iTunes release 12?

Every show and movie that I bought gives a date of 12/31/1903 on the description page and in each individual info page it shows 6/5/05.  This ***** if you want to sort by date.
    Thanks in advance...

    Hi Daniel Reilly,
I understand that your TV show episodes may be showing an incorrect release date. I would like to recommend that you report an issue with these purchases using this link:

  • Does the Music Store have a place for release dates on TV shows and videos?

Just wondering if they will have any idea when they will get new episodes of various shows they carry.I have heard it takes 24 hours for them to get them but I have come across about five shows that have episodes that are well over 72 hours and still not released.
Do they have a guide for release dates?Or a website that shows when they will carry certain episodes of shows?

yeah, you're right. I got an email yesturday from iTunes stating pretty much just that. I complained that they weren't getting my SG1 and SGA shows up on time. Anyway, I was an idiot for blasting them. We pay iTunes bills...not some advertisers...so they will deff get the shows out to us when they get them from the studios. Moreover, the email stated that they'll let sci fi (i'm assuming that's the network we're talking about here?) know to send those recent epps. BTW, I also posted this info on the sci fi board.

How do I manipulate the release date in my iTunes TV shows?

Is there anyway to do this?

As far as I know you can't change a TV programme's release date, I think that it's a protected field

  • ITunes 12.1.0.71 data corruption (TV show release date)

As many of you know, one of the many bugs in the last release of iTunes was that the "Release date" field for TV shows showed a date in 1905 and was not editable.
I just updated to version 12.1.0.71 on my Windows 7 and OS X Yosemite systems and the field is now editable. But, the dates I had set in version 11 all still seem to be lost.
To some this may not seem like a big issue but it's an issue of Apple corrupting my data. This time it's a field that isn't too big of an issue but next time it could be something worse like the actual video file!
Given how often Apple has been releasing buggy software on so many platforms I'm starting to wonder if I can trust them. Is it time for me to dump my Mac and go strictly Windows?
I've submitted this to Apple via their "Feedback" page but I have serious doubts if anyone from Apple reads the submitted feedback.
Anyone else have this issue? Any ideas if my data is actually lost or if this is yet another bug that's just not displaying my data?
    Larry.

  • TV Show Release Dates

Is there a way to edit a tv show's release date in itunes so 'unknown release date' doesn't show up on your ipod? It shows up under the episode's title on the ipod. The shows were ripped from my DVDs but I cannot enter this information or even stop 'unknown release date' from showing.
    i have a 120G ipod classic
when you right click and look in the episodes info there is a place to enter the year, but not the date. entering the year does not fix this problem. i'd like to be able to do it without having to download another program.

Sorry. I was making a suggestion that you look with google.
Without going into details -- how is this related to Apple computers and getting online and networking?
Perhaps someone on the discussions at abc will have something for you.

  • Change Release Date of TV Shows

i have the band of brothers mini series, and i'm trying to change the release date of them, but itunes won't let me. Any help??

Worked great! I chose to rename the original TV show mp4 video file with the new release date information, but I had to manually change the "video type" back to TV Show to keep it organized.
    Thanks for the major tip!

  • Adding release dates on TV shows

    hi everyone
im trying to figure out how to add release date info of the episodes in my tv shows on the new itunes. if i right click on an episode and click get info i cant seem to find anywahere in the tabs where i can write in its release date
    thankyou

I read your post earlier when I was searching around for the same thing and felt like coming back to share the knowledge I've gained.
I found a program called videotag, which alters release dates and all other tags supported by itunes video (so far as I can tell). You can find it here:
    http://www.textzombie.com/videotag/
This was all I could find, but it does the job fine (tested and verified in itunes and on ipod classic).

  • TV Shows Release Date

On my ipod I noticed all my TV shows say - unknown release date - but I can't seem to find on itunes where I can manually put this information in. Is there a way to do that?
    thanks!

You will have to use a third party software to set release dates. [Lostify|http://www.lostify.com> has the ability to set release dates. Make sure you do some reading on the program, and test it out on a copy of a file to make sure it is going to work correctly with your tv shows. It also has the ability to set the information for the "long description" field in itunes, which the other poster was asking about.

  • When you show all albums, why can you only sort albums by best sellers, release date, etc., sometimes?

Sometimes I can sort albums by release date and other times I don't have the option. Its frustrating. I tried to look in preferences but couldn't change it.

I agree that Apple should improve the year field to be an actual date.
I am not 100% happy doing this, but when you have multiple albums from a single artist for the same release year, a temporary solution is to chage the album title by adding an outline type letter before album titles for that year, so that they appear in the correct order:
    David Bowie
    1977
    a. Low
    David Bowie
    1977
    b. "Heroes"
    etc
This could help in the short term until Apple changes that field.

  • Not showing up for 2 weeks then with original release date

I bought all of these today. Searched for all of them last Monday and did not find. Yet they claim to have old release dates. Last week I found on Christmas song actually there for the first time.
These are listed with the following release dates but none of them were there last week...
    Warm Fuzzy Missing 06/01/2010
Andy Gibbard Colliding - Single 04/01/2010
    Franco Nature's Warning 04/01/2010
    Ratz The Ratz Smell 04/01/2010
    Planet Love Sound Thirsty 04/01/2010
Theemu A Brand New Start 03/01/2010
    Perfect Static Don't Go 03/01/2010
Six Volt Girl Next Door 03/01/2010
One Hit Tragedy Let Love Breathe 02/01/2010
Glass Pear Where Is My Home? - Single 02/01/2010
Mary Elise Moon and Stars - Single 31/12/2009
Tom McFadden & The Nervous System My Country Is Better Than Your Country - EP 31/12/2009
Dark Scarlett Three Tracks - EP 31/12/2009

I also don't know why these forums don't have an "iTunes store" section.
You mean like this? -> Using iTunes Store with Windows
or this ? -> Using iTunes Store with iTunes for Mac
It is the same regardless of what operating system you run your client on.
The actual store is the same though iTunes is slightly different, such as some of the options and key presses.
If someone were having problems, the first question I would ask is what computer and OS is being used.
If a question is posted in the *Using iTunes Store with Windows forum*, I won't need to ask.
