These are probably not sent from your account. The spammer has just ''borrowed ''your email address and is using it as the return address of the junk they are sending. If they were coming from your account they would be in the Sent folder.
They have your address. There is not much you can do about it now. They will get bored with you and move on soon.
Google '''email backscatter''' to learn more about what is going on.
FYI: People posting email addresses in an open forum like you did in your example is exactly how spammers get their victims. That is not a very good idea if you want to protect your personal info.
I suggest that you edit your post and remove your example. It is of no help and does more harm than good.

Sync Menu Item Keeps Coming Back
Hey guys
I've been spending some time getting Missing Sync for Palm OS working properly on Leopard. Every time sync services does anything, however, it puts that gorram menu item in my menu bar.
I've dragged it off manually. I've disabled it from the .Mac preference pane. I've disabled it from the iSync app. Each and every time it just keeps coming back.
Any thoughts?First make an iCal backup, File > Export > Archive.
Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
Home > Library > Caches
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache)
Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.ical (There may be more than one of these. Remove them all.)
__NOTE: Removing these files will remove any shared (CalDAV) calendars you may have access to. You will have to re-add those calendars to iCal > Preferences > Accounts.

I keep getting the same email sent to my I cloud account, even though I delete them they just keep coming back. I now have 7 email that I that I can delete several times a day and they just keep coming back. Very frustrating !!
Go and log out of your MobileMe account and then try logging back in again with a dummy username and password. This can help clear it and then just log back in again with your normal username and password.
Note though that iWeb does not require a password or username to use it - this is MobileMe.
Also, start thinking about MobileMe alternatives before you are forced to in June. -
I have a sent email (I confirmed it was sent) and it keeps coming back to my Draft folder, even when I delete it. How can I make it stop? I use OS X, version 10.0.4 and the Mail application.
Select the Drafts folder.
Under Mailbox in the Menu bar select Rebuild (last option) -

I can't get rid of the message, n error occurred with the publication of album. It just keep coming back, and can't move around in IPhoto.
Okay, folks, after a 3 1/2 hour phone call with a (very patient) telephone support person at Blackberry, here's what I learned.
You can check your USB drivers this way:
Plug in your phone into your USB drive. Assuming your Blackberry is "seen" by your computer...
Go into the Device Manager on your computer (control panel)
Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers item on the bottom of the list
Right-click on BlackBerry Smartphone and choose Properties
Click on the Driver tab
Click on the Driver Details button
You should see one driver. I saw two. The one the BlackBerry likes is the RimUsb one.
So here's what NOT to do: We tossed the entire driver that was the "extra". This effectively made using my mouse and keyboard impossible, as they are USB, and sent my poor husband into the basement to find a million-year-old keyboard (and then a mouse) with the old fashioned kind of connectors (PS2). Bleh. Don't do that.
Here's what I did that worked (not saything this will work for you -- this modifies the Registry so better do a system backup with that backup and restore if you're nervous about this sort of thing):
From the start menu, choose run, and type regedit to get into the Registry editor.
Follow this file path: Computer, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SYSTEM, CurrentControlSet, Control, Class
Click on: {36FCE60-C465-11CF-8056-4445535400000}
If there's an item on the right called "UpperFilters", delete it. (see pictures)

Mal/Phish-A threat from mail keeps coming back
I have been dealing with this Mal/Phish-A threat for a couple of months now. I keep getting a Sophos Alert to clean this Mal/Phish-A threat and when I clean it up, it pops up again. At first after a couple of days, now sometimes multiple times an hour. Needless to say this makes work very difficult, and I am also scared that the safety of my (professional) Mac is compromised. The threat appears to be an email attachment always called FullDetails.html. I read my mails using the Mac's Mail programme, and this particular account is a gmail account. I use the imap.gmail.com server to pull in email. The path of the threat is something like /Users/MYCOMPUTER/Library/Mail/[email protected]/[Gmail]/Alle berichten.imapmbox/Attachments/110344/2/FullDetails.html. I have tried the following: Clean up the threat using SophosScanning the computer (finding nothing every time) using Sophos after cleanupRemoving the attachments in FinderFinding emails containing FullDetails.thml and removing the mailsEmptying out my trash immediately after Threat keeps coming back. I don't know what to do. Please help!

I am able to remove the threat from my computer, but I get new mails sent with this same virus every day, and I want to find a solution that does not involve me removing the mail after it's already downloaded to my computer. My Mac mail client downloads all mails and attachments to my computer, even if I don't open them. This means that the attachment I get sent everyday is downloaded automatically. I use gmail als mail client, but read all mails from the Mac mail client. Solution that's been suggested is 'catch' the email from gmail webmail, delete from there and after that open my mail client on the computer. However, this is not a real solution: I use the mail client on the Mac for reasons of efficiency and speed during my work and opening up and deleting mails from gmail everyday before the working day starts is not a real solution. I would like to hear if there is a way to prevent mails from arriving in my mail, or to permenantly delete mails upon arrival, without them being stored in inbox, trash or spam folder. Hope someone here has the solution!

Macbook Pro - mail account. Deleted messages keep coming back!

I've deleted several messages (they were also in my drafts) and they keep popping back up in my sent mail and inbox, sometimes multiple copies of the same message. I want those messages gone. They keep coming back!!!! How do I fix this?In Mail you have to move the message to gmail trash. Just deleting the message assigns it the delete label but doesn't delete it. You can truly delete the messages in web gmail, however.

By old I mean 9 messages from Sept 17th-yesterday....they just keep repeating themselves over and over and over....so it ends up 30 of the same message - x 9 messages. I haven't received anything new on my yahoo account since yesterday. I do know I received a mail posting from a Gay Morgan RE: Response needed regarding Statement $47312. I had no clue who that was - but opened it in case it was something for my hubby. It had a Word document attached to it that I did NOT open. A while later I got a message from Yahoo mail about my virus protection not being available for the Gay Morgan message.....but I thought I couldn't get a virus on a mac?? I talked with a mac dude over the phone and he said it didn't sound like a virus...but I was too cheap to pay the $50 to have him help me!

I am trying to set up iCloud on my various devices. When I log in with my iTunes (Apple id) it keeps coming back and stating
"Verify your account. This Apple ID's email address cannot be verified. Change your apple ids email address at appleid.apple.com to sig into i cloud"
My apple id has been alive and in use for years on iTunes etc. I have tried a different address and password and still get the same result

BrianIf your email address is valid, just go to https://appleid.apple.com/, click "Manage your account" to the right,sign in, click Name, ID, and Email Addresses to the left, then click "Verify now" next to your email address. Apple will send you an email to this address with a verification link. Otherwise add an alternate email address that can be verified.

Exactly how are you trying to restore form TM?
Have you tried rebuilding your iPhoto library?
And your comments indicate that you may not understand iPhoto at all - you should not be inside the iPhoto library - there are no user servicable parts in it - and iPhoto does not duplicate photos - more details of yoru work flow would help sort this out

I have two ipod touch libraries under my account. One for my daughter and one for me. I bought my daughter an Iphone and then opened her ipod touch libraryon the computer (Windows Vista). I plugged in her iphone so that she can have the stuff from her ipod touch on her new phone. Somehow her library has partially merged with my library. My ipod touch now has some of HER games and music on it. I went into my library and deleted these games and songs, but they keep coming back. How do I get rid of these once and for all. I don't want to be shuffling AC/DC, Rob Zombie, and then get Justin Bieber all of a sudden while sitting at a red light in traffic.

How do I get rid of the 'buump.me' home page? It just keeps coming back.
I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 OS and my firefox web browser is compromised with this 'buump.me' home page which I can't get rid of. I've been into the cache, deleted all my cookies, manually changed the home page and the backup home page in the preferences folder. Still keeps coming back. Where is this nasty bit of code lurking in my machine and how can I get rid of it?

I tried this and lost all my bookmarks and stuff! But found them in a backup file.
I've solved the problem by creating a new firefox profile and importing my settings and bookmarks from the old one (carefully, so as not to import the virus as well)
Now the old profile has the virus and the new profile is just fine.
I could just delete the old profile... but I'd love to find out exactly where this buump.me bug is lurking, so maybe I'll keep the old profile for a while and see if I can find half a day or night free for detective work. -
