Already under contract

The new iPhone price puts in my budget. If you are already under contract with cingular does that mean you can't get it for 199$?

We have two iPhones and two non-iPhones on our family plan. For the second iPhone, it's $9.99 per month, plus the $20/month data plan (which seems to be going up to $30 for the 3G iPhone).

Wait do you pay $20 for data for each phone or is it $20 total for both?

  • Check if Equipment(s) already under Contract

    Hi ,
In VA41, how can i check and display to my user if the equipment they enter is alredy under a valid contract ? So overlap of contract are avoided .
Is that standard SAP, or sould a do an user-exit ? Has somebody already a code sample , and wich user-exit and tables or function module can be used in order to do the check ?
Thank you, will give points for good and quick answers .

well i dont think standard SAP has any setting where you can check if a material is already under contract , as a same material can have N number of different contracts.
may be you can see if this user exit helps you LWB2B005

  • Switching phones #'s for phones on my plan under contract?

My husband recently took a position with his company that will give him a cell phone.  He would like to port his phone # over to his company account
(which is also Verizon).  I have an added line on the account already that is not under contract.  Could I delete that line and use the other phone # to fill out the remaining contract on my husbands phone?

No, you can't swap contracts between lines on the same Verizon Wireless account.

  • Phone under contract

I recently purchased a iphone 4 off ebay. It was listed as new, however after the purchase I noticed the seller noted "This phone is new but under contract". When I contacted him, he told me that the phone has been activated; I haven't received it yet. I want to use the phone on page plus. Should I expect issues when I go to register the phone? Thanks,

Never but never buy an already "active" phone from any where unless it is purchased at the wireless company with you standing there. Get your money back now, have ebay suspend the account of the seller and take a common sense class to learn how not to get taken.

  • Billing under Contract

    Hi all,
This is regarding Billing (partially or fully) billing a customer who is under contract.
    Scenario:
    1. Equipment is under contract
    2. Few spares / services are covered under contract - should not be billied during contract period
    3. Some spares / Services are not covered in contract - Should be billed at an agreed price
4.The Engineer  or the planner may not  be aware which are chargeable / unchargeable items / services
    5. System should Create the bill based on the terms maintained in the contract
Can anybody please review the below process flow and correct If anywhere I am wrong?
    1. Creating a contract VA41 with Service product as line items
    2. Attach the Equipment to the Line item
    3. Maintain the pricing agreements for the line item
    4. Maintain agreed price for all the spares / services - ie.maintain zero (0) price for non-chargeable items
    5. Create the bill (one time bill in advance - no Periodic billing)
Whenever there is a complaint from Customer
    6. Create Notification and Service order
    7. Plan all the spares / services in the Service order
    8. Time and material confirmation against the service order
    9. Run DP90 for DMR - Should fetch the price from Pricing agreement maintained in the Contract
    10. Settle the Service order to the Service contract line item
I could not try this in our work place but I outlined process flow. Please let me know actual process
    Thanks,
    Pranav

    Hi  Pranav,
Your process steps looks okay. Please make sure that the Contract number is referenced in the Notification/Service order. DP90 reads the Cost in the service order and populates the suitable Material  you had assigned in the DIP profile in the DMR. The pricing procedure assigned to the DMR reads the contractual conditions from the Contracts and determines the price according to the Condition record you had maintained for the condition types.Alternatively If you want to give zero $ for some spares, you need to maintain condition record with 100% discount for those materials/customer combination.Hope this helps.

  • No detiles under contract

    Hello
Customer add contract to his profile , when he open contract there is no data under contract ( SN, Start date, end date ,,,, etc ) ,
that't contract below to him and it's still active , ( we facing the same problem with all existing contracts in profile),
    Thanks & regrads
    Ali

It seems like there are a couple different issues here from my experience.
When you get the Having Trouble Logging in page, this was probably a reset of your access that caused something in your profile to change incorrectly.  My advice would be to use this link (http://www.cisco.com/cisco/psn/web/workspace) to open a case with the correct support team.  Not sure why they are advising you to use the forums when it doesnt even look like they are monitoring the forums.
As far as the other error goes:
"No records retieved for  display. This item was not found is in an inactive status,or has access issues. Please modify & resubmit your search" This is most likely due to the fact that the contract and the products on the contract are no longer in an active status.  This could be because another partner has taken over the devices or simply because they are in an OVERDUE or EXPIRED status. Easy way to check on the coverage of this item, would just be to quote it again and see what kind of coverage dates it's pulling.  If it's pulling a date in the past it's in an expired status, a date in the future it's probably a takeover.
    Hope this helps!

  • Officially Under Contract...Praying

Officially under contract, lender has received all requested documents to this point.  So nervous and scared he said they will put everything together to then go to underwriting. So nervous, I am just so afraid this will not happen us.  Praying everything goes well.  What all could go wrong?

hmm im lost again...what do you mean source?  sorry im new to all this terminology.  Also the money we are using for down payment is from savings and it is a savings account,  not related to my husbands paycheck really. Also, the funds used for downpayment and closing must be seasoned and from a qualifying source.   60 days is considered seasoned.   I think you mean seasoned or from a qualifying source.Season and qualifying source because there are some loans where gift funds can't be used even if it's seasoned.    how far back beyond 60 days of seasoning will they go to source funds for these programs?  If the Lender is Chase they may ask one to provide statements for 12 months.  If they see big deposits they'd want you to source them.   wow thats brutal.Yup, Chase has a lot of liabilties, so they have to be very careful to not make loans that may end up in foreclosure.

  • My bill is just too high!  What is the cheapest way to switch if I'm still under contract?

I have four lines.  It is costing me $260 a month for unlimited talk and text, and 6G shared data.  It is killing me to keep this up, but I still need my lines.  I'm researching other carriers to see if I can get my bill to $150 or less.  There are options, but after October I will still have one line under contract.  Can anyone guess what my early termination fee would be at that time?

When you log into the MyVerizon account for the account owner, go to change features. At the top will be an option to add a line fee discount if it is not under contract. Click on that. You would have to do it for each line which is not under contract. With a 6 GB shared data allowance, you would get a discount of $10/line not under contract.
Depending on how many lines you have out of contract, it MAY be beneficial to increase your data allowance to 10 GB/month. If you have a 10 GB/month data allowance, you would get a discount of $25/month/line. The increase in cost from 6 GB to 10 GB would only be $20/month(6 GB cost = $80/month, 10 GB cost = $100/month) but if you have 2 lines out of contract, the increase in discount would be $30/month(2 x $10/month discount = $20/month, 2 x $25/month discount = $50/month). When you get another line out of contract, your discount would increase each month by either $10 or $25 depending on you data allowance.

  • AT&T to Verizon switch when under contract

I want to purchase an Iphone 5 with Verizon. Currently I am under contract with a 4s with AT&T. I am aware of the Early Termination Fee of AT&T. I want to order on the presale date this Friday. Do I need to contact AT&T first or if I want to keep my same number do I just order with verizon on apple.com? Also, If I am joining a family plan on Verizon, what information will I need to complete the order at apple.com for the presale?
    Jkmacon44

You need your account number. You do not need to contact AT&T first. You're probably going to need to do the preorder through Verizon. In the past, Apple hasn't been able to add lines to existing Family Share plans.

  • How to delete a device all-together if its not under contract using Verizon web page

I want to remove an iPad that wasn't purchased with subsidies from Verizon.  It was just bought outright from a store and later activated for cellular data.  We don't use it outside of the house enough to need cellular data plus all of our iPhones are wifi hotspots. I tried to drop it in the my account area.  I could temporary cancel and report it lost or stollen, but it says it will reactivate in 30 days and shows as temporarily deactivated.  Why no "remove this item" button that just EASILY deletes and terminates service on items that are not under contract?  Surely removing this non-contract item will not cost me anything.

You have to call customer service at 1-800-922-0204 or *611 to cancel a line of service with Verizon Wireless. You can also go to a corporate store and cancel there. You can't cancel online.

  • Hi i have an iphone 4s w/c is under contract w/ verizon.  i will be traveling to the philippines tomorrow so i called them 2 weeks ago and requested to unlock it for me.  will the sim card in the phils. work in my 4s?

Hi, i have an iphone 4s w/c is under contract w/ verizon.  I will be traveling to the Phils. so i called and asked verizon to unlock it for me which they did.  What sim card do i use in the Phils. that support 4s?  Also how can i make sure that i wont be charged for roaming when i am out of the country??  Thanks!

Thanks for the info.  I do not want to pay a lot of money for roaming services that's why i had it unlocked.  Just wondering how the micro-sim works.  I guess i have to research for a specific micro sim in the phils that supports the 4s here in US.  Appreciate your time answering my question.

  • It's officially time to panic- 94 days under contract & counting

Brief backstory for those new to our situation-USDA Direct Loan for a house we've been under contract for since April 15th w/ original closing set for June 15th. Extension to July 31st.File arrived at USDA closing agent's office this past Wednesday, July 15th.  I just got a call from the freaked out seller (for sale by owner) saying her attorney told her our attorney was told by the USDA that closing would be in early August! I'm about to throw up & the seller is upset at having to pay this month's mortgage & not being able to close on their new construction home until we close on this one. There's no way they'll sign another extension unless we pay their mortgage payment for August.  All I can do is wait until Monday & make some phone calls, hoping to somehow speed this along. I can't believe we may not move until next month.                Edit to add:After a scroll through my Netflix, I'm reminded of life's true priorities. If our biggest problem is having to wait a few extra weeks to close on a house that many in the world would consider a mansion compared to their dirt huts, then we're doing pretty darn good. Sometimes it just feels good to come here & vent to people that understand. Thanks for putting up with me, everyone!

Well TBH in your situation I'd be thinking of paying the mortgage anyway as the righteous thing to do, but if you can get that and take possession, think that's a fantastic plan anyway assuming you're confident the loan is indeed going through. If their house were done by June 15th, we'd feel compelled to do so for July, but their contractor had issues & it's not even ready yet. Their closing is set for this coming Wednesday the 22nd. We've been exceedingly fair with splitting costs so far & if they had asked, we probably would have split July's mortgage payment with them. Don't know, my LO at Chase was waffling anyway with the standard boilerplate speak of UW vagaries, so I beat him up over an free extension to the rate lock (they wanted .125% for a two week extension typically which got waived) which I really shouldn't need anyway with my file, but everything is setup with zero consequence for the lender and that just sucks from a consumer perspective.  Did see a lender or two advertising if we don't close on time we'll pay you, so it's not like I'm the first to consider this. Re: wrong, not sure.  Usually most people are selling their homes, often have a need to use that to roll into another house down the line and when everything is contingent and bridge financing is still pretty much gone, it's a difficult situation in the market.  My life is absolutely on hold as a buyer, if I were selling and I needed the equity to transition to next house now, yeah, I'd want the more stable thing and I don't think that's an unreasonable thing.  I edited my reply to include that it feels wrong for us to do since we're utilizing a govt. loan ourselves. I don't see it as wrong for anyone to set any kind of restrictions on their own home. Hell, restrict it only to crazy cat ladies paying in cash for all I care! It just doesn't feel right for us to do. =)  Hah!  I wonder what that listing for crazy cat ladies only would do for property values in the neighborhood! Yeah I wasn't looking at the hypocrisy point from your perspective, good lady you

  • One line out of contract, can I cancel another line under contract without ETF?

I've seen many people asking this question, but the answer was different from what I heard from the chat with CSR.
    So, does this idea work?
I have three lines on my account.
A - Upgrade available in 10/2012 (contract ends on similar date)
B - Upgrade available in 10/2013 (contract ends on similar date)
C - Upgrade available as of now (contract ended)
Basically, I have one line that's out of contract.
Since I have one line that's done with the contract, can I cancel one line even though it's still under contract from my account?
I thought this wasn't allowed, but in my recent chat with CSR named Cassey(she said she left notation about our conversation), she said it is possible and was so sure about that.
I was in the exact same situation back in March when I cancelled 4th line I used to have in my account.
I was told it couldn't be done that way and had to wait for a couple month with the charges.
Please clear this up so that I could take an appropriate action.

    hwangong wrote:
    So, is the answer "no"?
I can't cancel a line as long as it's under contract even though I have another line that's out of contract? Correct - the contract, or agreement is to keep a line of service active for 24 months after the upgrade (or purchase of a subsidized/discounted phone).  If the 24 months is not up, and you cancel that line, there will be an ETF based on the # of months out of the 24 that were fulfilled.
Then, I really wish there is a way I can talk to the rep I chatted.
I triple checked with her, she said I could do that, and she was so sure about it. Maybe she misunderstood the question??  Though it seems pretty clear to me what you are asking, and it's just as clear it's not the way it works!  The contract is on the line of service, and tied to that phone number.

  • Verizon iPad 3 has no LTE coverage unless under contract?

I just spent a frustrating 30 minutes with 2 Verizon wireless reps over the issue of LTE coverage for my iPad 3 at my house.
Basically, I was told that I don't have LTE coverage because iPads are "prepaid" and not under contract. Therefore I can't use the 4D LTE button on their website to determine LTE signal strength or coverage on their  map and instead I need to click on The Prepaid button which does not show LTE coverage. The Apple Store website links to the Verizon Map with the LTE button pre-selected and it was the info I used to make the choice away from AT&T.
Has anyone else experienced this situation? I spoke to 2 reps including a supervisor named Tim from the Colorado Center who refused to give his last name.
What do I do now?   Is Apple aware of this?   Has anyone else experienced this???

Thanks Meg for you interest in my plight.  I will attempt to clarify further.
At my location of interest, I get only 2 bars and 95% of the time my Verizon iPad 3 only gets slow 3G service. Every once in a while, at random and for short periods, LTE service latches on but doesn't last long. Allowing Data Roaming makes no difference.
In order to determine what was wrong I first called Verizon to make sure it was not a temporary problem with one of their towers. If they had told me their equipment was in top shape and confirmed that my signal was supposed to be strong in my area (as per their coverage map) then my next stop would have been the Apple Store down the street.
I am familiar with the map at:
    http://www.verizonwireless.com/wireless-coverage-area-map.shtml
That is the map linked-to by the Apple Store and the one I used to make sure Verizon offered strong LTE coverage in my area.  I live in the middle of a major metro area (33143, Miami-Dade, Florida) and selecting the "4D LTE button" button on the Verizon wireless coverage area map indicates complete, darkest color, top tier, strong coverage for my area and miles around.  Based on this information I decided to purchase my iPad 3 with the Verizon circuitry.
The surprise started when the Verizon rep stated that their internal system showed no LTE coverage in my area for Prepaid plans AT ALL.  As proof they indicated that as a Prepaid customer I could NOT click on the 4D LTE button on the Verizon wireless coverage area map because that button only applied to contract customers.  I had to click on the Prepaid button and that was the end of that.  This was confirmed by the supervisor called Tim from the Colorado Branch office. No further recourse.
So I am upset and a bit confused at the moment. At the time of purchase Apple sends me to a Verizon map with the 4D LTE button pre-selected ... but that's not the button you are supposed to use according to Verizon. I am in the middle of a prime city with top Verizon LTE coverage (alledgedly) but can't access it unless I get a 2-year contract.  Can this be considered bait and switch?  Any class-action lawyers out there?
    I just want my LTE.
    Caveat Emptor?

I answer a question on the post. I am not assuming what plan they have, or should have or may have had in the past.
If you are under a contract for two years since the phone is now paid off ( subsidized device) the cost of the plan does not get reduced, based on the original posters post.
There for my answer is 100% correct for the facts known in the post.
Would a, Could a or Should a has nothing to do with my reply.
Unless the poster states exactly what plan they are on the only reasonable reply was the short and sweet one I gave. If they continue as is, without looking into plan changes (again no plan was listed) there is no reduction since paying off the subsidized device.
    Good Luck
Since there is more than one plan available and since there is one plan available that does qualify for a discount once a subsidized phone is paid off, your original reply is not and could never be 100% correct, maybe 50% correct. The only reasonable response (also short and sweet) is "It depends on your current plan and/or whether you are willing to switch to the one plan that is eligible for a discount, otherwise no you might not get a discount."
